He did fall in love w/ someone new, a version of Naksu that would have been if she had a loving home to call upon.…
Yes there was sooo much more potential here to flesh things out given more time. They did a good job with what they did but alas it was a little rushed and they tried to use side characters to shortcut explain what is going on and why he can't save her a second time etc. so we never got to see him or her going through the motions because the side characters were explaining everything really quickly and sometimes cryptically.
Very good, but not as good as part 1. Part 1 i gave a 10, this i give a 9.5. Better FL in part 1. The amnesia…
There was a scene at one point the subs made it seem that he figured it out or something and then later they completely back tracked. Not sure if it was the translations confusing things or they really did gloss over it.
I loved this Part 1 and Part 2 as a whole. A story right up my street and I enjoyed Part 2 also. Loved the crown…
I almost forgot this was a Kdrama where everyone lives and endings are rushed. If it was a CDrama the three that died at the end would have stayed dead. If this was a Western drama their deaths would mean more and be poignant and reflective for the survivors. I think that sometimes it takes some gravitas out of a situation when you know that there is no risk or emotional turning points or surprises coming because more often than not people will survive seemingly impossible things and the only people who will die for good are ones the audience don't care much for or have no impact on the storyline and background characters- the famous "red shirts" . I felt the ending was a little rushed, I was constantly checking the time to see if we have enough time to wrap this up properly and then the battle with this super powerful firebird was over in 15seconds as was most new dangers that cropped up in the end. By that point there wasn't any real suspense and just minor annoyance that these bad people still trying.
Despite these minor things, this was fabulous and I'd totally watch it again and again.
I loved this Part 1 and Part 2 as a whole. A story right up my street and I enjoyed Part 2 also. Loved the crown prince. Everyone did such a great job. Only 2 things I could wish for is that Naksu fought and got her skills and sword back. I am sure this actress could pull it off and look bad ass as we have seen her in Part 1 already. The second in a spoiler.
Oh I just skip that part whenever I reread it and BYL doesn’t forgive I’m easily. I thought you got the name from Book 2 because it looks similar Gu Hai’s company name. I liked Book2 a lot.
It was cute. I like Folk and Gameplay's chemistry together but the show was pretty messy. I kept laughing at the…
The editing was awful. I can forgive a low budget location and the make shift office desks and the recycled front street from Love in The Air but the editing , writing and directing was awful. The only team I thought did well was wardrobe and makeup.
That was awful. I actually can't think of anyhing positive to say. From the bleak main plot to the jarring contrast…
I don't blame the actors. I think they did the best they could but the writing and directing and post production was terrible. I want to see Gameplay in something with a bigger budget and better directing and writing team before I make a final judgement of his abilities because actually there were a lot of good actors but the way they were directed to do and say things was not their fault that it came off so cringey and terrible. I have to say though, Jeff is an amazing actor right off the bat and Gameplay needed some work back then but I also think he needs the right project which he doesn't seem to be getting. I don't know how Nammon ended up in something like this either. I think in the world of BL, that was the first intimate scene I just could not watch at all and had to forward through most of it. The way they shot it was awful and even worse because the storyline was so underdeveloped there was nothing to back up any of that relationship to make it even a tiny bit believable for any of their intimate scenes to make any sense.
I had to stop watching for a few days because I got so annoyed thinking I have watched this before because of a particular situation. I finally remember that the situation was VERY similar to a Sword and Brocade situation. I am still a little confused but I think this is where the confusion stemmed from. I am still not 100% sure I have not seen a similar situation like this before in other stories. I watch too many period CDramas
m watching chimon for the first time and boy i am impressed.I think perth will be a good partner. Dangerous romance,…
Not surprised. Chimon is an old hand at this job now. I am glad to see him back on screen. I feel he hasn't been as visible as other actors, possibly because some of his recent roles were outside BL genre. Pond is relatively new so I think he has potential, but despite Phuwin's long track record, he still seems so fresh where I would have expected more professional development. He's still only 19 so I guess there is potential and now he is getting lead roles so I hope he improves. In contrast, Perth was an amazing actor from the start and just gets better.
I seriously thought the story ended 2 episodes before it actually did. Then the next episode started auto playing and I was like.. .. we not done yet? What more is there to tell at this point??
As someone who read the manhwa this is a good adaptation considering the production is also from watcha (same…
I didn't know the actors prior to watching it except the tall one because he appeared a couple times of Edward Avila's channel with his group - but even then I didn't realise it was him until I started watching it so it was not the actors who brought me to it. And just like that one, I found this one on the currently airing section of Viki.

I do think that more and more these days BL and LGBTQ+ genres are starting to blend.
