Yes I did feel that a female could have also played this role and typically it would have been but I like that they cast a male because it’s different and didn’t distract too much from the story and message. Even though the sexual chemistry was palpable. It was enjoyable. Was it a book or is it an original script?

I am also hoping for a tight plot. I feel like GMMTV is feeling the pressure now from the similar series from other production companies but I hope its more than just NC. I do like First Khao and their acting individually and together. I am a little doubtful of the other two pairings from their previous work. We shall see I guess.

I accidentally started watching this because I got the wrong idea of the premise thinking the guy has a crush on the girl but nope. Anyway I continues as people said it was light hearted and easy watch and I needed something like this between shows. But I am on ep 5 and I really don't like stories where the girl's whole existence and identity revolves around the guy with every choice she makes and becomes a doormat and 2D character. Will she always be like this or does she ever develop her own personality and independence? Otherwise I will drop it.

I think it was just a misunderstanding because he thought he forced a friend to have sex with him because he was very kind and then with the crying, Ren probably thought he was feeling bad about it so felt even guiltier. They were really young kids back then. It looks like no one ever told Kazuma what Ren said especially if he tried to hide what happened and everyone wants to forget and think he didn't remember (typical story trope). Or maybe he did correct people later but Ren had already moved and he couldn't find him. But it seems at the moment, to Kazuma, they just lost touch after he got sick but to Ren he caused his illness and then was shamed and thrown away because of what he confessed. Seems like the manga from what. I have gleaned from other commenters has more details of Ren's trauma and how it manifested over the years.

I also would add, that because of the past trauma in childhood and how deep their feelings are for each other but never spoken, neither of them want to say anything and break the good thing they have right now in case it all goes wrong again. They are just both enjoying being together again even if they don't explain everything to each other.

That guy was grooming young men in the company, manipulating them emotionally and making them dependent on him for his own weird controlling needs. Totally understood the trauma because that type of thing does happen to a lot of people where there is such a power dynamic and abuse. It was not just about simple cheating. I am glad the show didn't gloss over what he was doing and in the final scene that dude mentioned his downfall and how what he was doing to those young vulnerable men was wrong.

Oh I see, a play on words for the titles. In both ways, they are both designated survivors but for different factions. Clever. (I've not finished. On ep 9 now)

This was very light hearted show so good to watch in between heavy stuff. Typical tropes present but not overly done or heavy. I found a lot of scenes a little slow... like it would take 15 seconds or more of pauses in the scenes or panning scenes so I fast forward a lot of empty scenes. I knocked it down a little at the end because FL was very good at martial arts eventually but in the final scenes she became a damsel in distress where in previous scenes she was able to get out of that situation. The emperor is the real MVP.

Yes! I am now on 40. I was glad they continued that arc. Just waiting to see if she ever revives the general now.

Okay I have to say Im on ep 8 but I am still attached to that butterfly. LOL. It was sent to the mortal realm so I wondered if they would meet again. LOL
