Title The Inextricable Destiny Spoiler
Yin Xiao is going back to his own country. He says once JL finishes with her revenge he will take her back to…
I don't think she has. She always tested her treatments first (we see her disappointed when the insect doesn't work before giving it to him after she tested it) and as the fake medicine doctor said - she is better than her master but all this was said to RY with him thinking it was RY who was a great shaman. The whole insect organ thing may come in to play later in another way but I have a feeling it won't be RY as she is very careful with him.

What is an idol drama? I see no young singers in this show. Everyone is an actor.....? I like her look and with him together they are kinda cute. Its funny that they both look young enough to act as teenagers while being in their 30s. To me, she has the perfect looks for her character she is portraying and him for his. This odd coupling is the whole point of the story. No one falls in love with the FL due to her beauty. No one in the drama has called her beautiful once - but they have for him, several times. They all start liking her for who she is.

are they a real couple, and that's why they're watching the drama together in someone's home?
It's just fan service. Some fans like to watch lead actors react to their scenes for some reason.

She turned around on ep6
That’s the beginning of the realisation and you watch her struggle with the consequences of her actions. She’s a really nice girl actually. Really good morals and values and loyalty and doesn’t follow the crowd.

Well something major happens to him which changes the relationship and makes her grows up. I’m not sure how I feel about it or how he acts it but it’s not about him at the moment so we will see how his story develops. That’s all I will say so far. I usually don’t watch I airing shows but I just came off one and only where th e FL was a wet blanket and solely focussed on the ML the whole time so this is refreshing for me. A strong FL character who is more than just the man she’s paired with.

I'm on ep 5 and I hate her attitude of, "it's gotta be my way or the highway" immaturity, she's just to childish…
This type of young character arc is very typical and you do have to suffer a little until they start growing up. She has been sheltered and spoiled and doted on for a long time and allowed to do what she wants without repercussions so I can stretch that she is this wild but I have just reached 14 and her character is developing well once she gets a sense of guilt and responsibility and suffers great loss. Now I see her finally begin transcending into greatness.

Title Naughty Babe
In novel he was attacked by black panther. It was not a dog. Diao even thought that it was a big cat.
Then even the novel didn’t make sense why Yi would think he would have a fear of dogs initially. I remember a black animal assumed it was a dog because of what I remember Yi saying in the novel. A black panther would have been cooler lol. Probably harder to CGI or tigers make more sense for Thailand.

I swear in the original story it was a dog attack and not a random tiger. In fact, the whole premise from Cutie Pie is that Yi thought Diao was afraid of dogs because of that attack. This was a fun ride because it was short but it was so random on places especially that random addition of "groomsmen" to make a nonsensical final plot that made no sense what so ever. Have to say though the dad's were great. Loved that story arc and it was nice to see Syn and Neua and their very short cute comedic scenes. It's an incredibly tropey show. Quite a cheap writing job but Dormundi still making money.

Anyway I came in with low expectations but I think I liked this more than Cutie Pie and its great that it was short so kept the pace moving. I also kinda liked that there wasn't that many NC scenes but I felt their intimate scenes in Cutie Pie were better. I am glad Nat's hairstyles is much better and less distracting than in Cutie Pie too so theres another win.

all I can say is.... I wasn't expecting that ride at all. Chef's kiss. Almost gave me emotional trauma.

The only thing: Though people praise the cinematography, the colouring was so off and random I found. Sometimes they used like super blurring/ softening of the picture I wasn't sure if it was a dream sequence or what and sometimes I couldn't tell what time of day it is because the overlay is muted or too warm at seeming random times and sometimes within the same scene, it looked a bit messy and weird. But everything else was great. The acting was great from everyone and real depth of emotional trauma exploration. Yoon Won is queeeeen. Those tears, those reactions, really captured the struggle and pressure to cross that bridge after university when you don't feel ready.

Same boring plot like most romance cdrama are. Toxic parents and the chinese fav theme: you need to get married,…
Its a common theme because its very relatable to most Asians - East and South alike. It is a very big business especially as stability, marriage and finance are deeply ingrained into the culture. I didn't find the parents in this show that toxic at all now I have finished. The FL mother had good growth arc as she comes to terms with her control issues and that was juxtaposed against the ML's mother who was more liberal and helped her overcome her insecurities regarding her daughter. The mother and daughter have a really realistic relationship of all the mother daughter relationships i have seen in dramas so far. We can see how caring she is for her daughter and how well they get along but also know and understand that she is quite controlling which is part of her personality her daughter avoids. But she does let her daughter make her own decisions. She didn't stop her daughter wanting to move cities for her career and kept her displeasure to herself. That wasn't toxic at all but very supportive of her. When her daughter gains more understanding of her mother's past, their relationship improves. Their relationship was pretty well written imo of all parental relationships I have seen in these types of dramas.

This was an easy watch. Nothing major happens and the pace is good the episodes feel short. There were times I did fast forward because some in between scenes and conversations just went on a little long. I really enjoyed the part where the FL got a new boss and started learning about a different job role and everything that came with that. I was REALLY frustrated every time she butted heads with her old manager because none of the scenarios made up by the writers made any business sense imo. It was really hastily written for the sake of creating conflict and I was really annoyed with those scenes. I did not feel any chemistry between the ML and FL but I did like both of their individual characters and how they supported and respected each other and I could see the actors were really trying to act like they loved each other. At least it was harder to spot from the actress's side. The parents were also understandable whether they were overbearing or not it was a good balance of care and concern. Also a small bug bear, I believe the actress wore a wig because I was constantly distracted by how odd it looked and that she never once wore her hair differently that I noticed. I liked the side couple and how they tackled their relationship issues but I do feel it was a little unresolved and some issues will come up again in their future. But it was nice and healthy.

Mandee Chanel has what I feel are guiltly pleasure series they’re just good bad shows & I’ll probably always…
I think this sums it up perfectly. The shows are a bit lacking in story but abundance of skinship. Totally a guilty pleasure because I know its not great story telling but also they do deliver on on other aspects lol.

FML is 35 years old, but she talks like a 3.5 year old girl and acts like a 13 year old teenager. And he is a…
When you watch these types of period shows you should remember that the FML character is often a teenager or young adult and thus is directed to act young and infantile even if the actress herself is in their 30s (I think they overdo it sometimes to compensate but it tends to peter out as the character "ages" in the show). While the ML character is often in his 30s or 40s. e.g Sword in Brocade - the male character was in his late 30s /40s while Seven Tan's character is supposed to be around 16/18 and that was after he waited for her to finish grieving and aging up to that 'suitable' age. Similar with men, playing the Tsundere type character often comes with this stoic persona. I am just one ep3 so will see how it goes but so far it seems like standard fare and nothing too annoying atm.

That was a strange beginning, an interesting middle and a messy but kinda cute end.
A bit surprised with some of the finishing of this production in places for a Korean BL offering e.g. camera shakes, sound booms in scenes and rigs. Whom I considered the main CP had the most static kisses I have even seen and it really sticks out when everyone else had really intense kissing. That intimate scene that I was not expecting as they already implied something happened between the TA and student was shot really nicely imo. I've not seen such interesting and visually pleasing shots in such scenes at those angles that I can remember. Chef's kiss. After being momentarily weirded out by the uncle and that wild child I would really like to see their story and how that happened.
I felt the ending was just a serious of cute moments that didn't always make sense like how the TA ended up on the trip with them and that was lazy writing just to have all three couples together at the end. Ep 10 was just bonus scenes that didn't really add anything but extra cuteness.
Overall a cute simple show with a couple treats in visuals and intimacy and cuteness that pushes Korea's BL boundaries a bit when it comes to skinship.
