You have to date someone in order to know how you feel and time is too short to make those drastic decisions at this stage. There will be more going on that we don't see that will be barriers to them outside the program. I would not, personally, have liked to see Meimei on the date because it's been very clear all along that he just isn't attracted to her no matter how she feels about him and he has already rejected her so that would have been uncomfortable viewing, imo, to watch her give green lights and him politely ignore them.

OMG I noticed too! He was such a scared bunny at first and the recent episodes he could support the show and looks more relaxed and enjoying himself more. Hai Tao helped him a lot so when he wasn't there I was glad to see Jerry could fill some of his gap as one of the few males on the panel.

Its more like 10 3 hour episodes. They can split like one or two days into 2hours and the rest is panel conversation and making guesses and analysing in between. Like a lot of the date scenes took 2 hours to show them all and each couple. For them it is like 2-3 weeks but the PDs need to make something out of nothing and add all the drama and product placements etc.

Just finished 5 and Im wondering if it gets better or not? It always irks me when the leads can't seem to leave a toxic work environment and have to stay to be abused or what not when there are so many places to go. I am trying to weight this with the subtext they are trying to pigeon her in with her age and her "loyalty" to the company because it was her first job (most ridiculous and annoying reason to stay at a company that abuses you), but it's really really annoying. And the FL being like a Mary Sue character also is my least favourite trope. I know sometimes it takes a while for some dramas to find their feet and wondering if this gets better and less annoying?

I wouldn't put it up there with the best because it was so basic for me and the script was a bit messy in places and the pacing was slow. But the ended episodes were the most memorable and enjoyable part of it all.

Some times you really don't want things to end, or it needed the length but this was not one of them. They really stretched things out unnecessarily. I felt it with the pacing where a lot of scenes felt too slow and draggy. This could have easily been 30 eps max if not 25.

This is by no means perfect but it is simple and easy to watch. The music is really good too. There was a lot of scenes I thought could have been sped up and a lot of flashback scenes as per towards the end from half way but I just forwarded through those. Its good for in between heavy stuff or a rainy day but I have seen better. The three shard arc was draggy at times but I really enjoyed the ending episodes. I think most of the story was predictable though which makes it easy to watch as well and good to pass time away.

I agree, I should have known they would do this type of thing. I hope it ends soon. Its okay and some of it is cute but some of it I fast forward because it takes too long to get to the point each scene. We shall see how it progresses.

No its not just you. This was soooo standard fair and a little dragged out. Very predictable and all the tropes in the book but slightly more modernised without too much angst and drama. But really wasn't anything special or different imo. It's good enough for a rainy day, but really nothing notable.

So how does that actually track with the episodes on here that says 8/20 have aired because I have watched 10 episodes and that does not include ep 0 otherwise that would make it 11. Viki also shows that they will release another ep tomorrow so that makes it 11 episodes I would have watched. Have they split airings in 2? The count is still off though.

In the Korean ones back in the day I think they got them all at the end. I haven't watched this in a long time after emotional trauma from the Korean Version Season 2. I am back watching with Chinese version season 6 and love it so far again.

You shouldn’t look at this like a typical romance drama or anything. Don’t think in terms of female lead or male lead etc. But I have to say that all the actors did a phenomenal job. As someone said below, the acting carries the show.
