Title Plus & Minus
I saw them in today's opening credits but this show playing with my heart and trauma!!! But its nice to see Wayne Song and Huang Chun Chih back together even if they did make it overly comedic. This isn't a History drama so I wonder why so many actors from the History Series are in this one? I mean, Beloved House I Do and this one have the same director which why it has similar shooting style and atmosphere and simplicity. But apart from the ML being in MODC the others are from other History dramas.... I can't see the link. Same production company or same actor management perhaps.

it is a longer version of their story from en of love. love mechanics. i think it'll follow the sam plot but with…
I have to say, this is a bit odd. Its the same male leads too, 2 years later. I am not complaining but still seems odd to be recycling old BL stories. Perhaps they are both now older and can do steamier things? We shall see. I will wait till a few more eps drop before picking this up.

I only just saw this was on and was sure I seen it before... Is this a remake of the 2020 one or a continuation?? It's been so long I can't remember where it left off.

I don't think we were supposed to care about anything really. Everything is just a plot to keep those two in scenes…
Yes that is true, I think it was just a quick and cheap way for them to build up to this 'wedding' and the flashback without using any new actors or sets. They are really doing this on a budget even though they quality of the acting and what little sets they use are still decent. I think going forward they will have more important things to focus on if the preview is anything to go by. But they could still prove me wrong.

Yes it is lazy writing and quite common for short shows from big companies aiming to make a quick buck from BL stories. The only thing that mattered about Yaya's character is that she was merely a plot device to push these two together by giving them a common goal and then to create some emotional tension when her wedding caused Fah's flashbacks thus leading those two to their final moments in the episode and progress their relationship. I didn't get the impression she had a bigger role or deeper meaning than that. They don't have enough time (and budget) and possibly enough story to give any secondary or tertiary characters much significance or their own development and plot and I have a feeling they have other plot points to cover in the remaining 5 episodes. Also, looking at whose acting in it (Mike and Toptap) I don't expect this show to be anything more than a quick and safe romance between the leads, where only the leads will have any real development in character / story in comparison with anyone else. I didn't get any feeling from the moment that Yaya was introduced that she would play any bigger role in the story than she already has so she didn't irk me so much and I could just enjoy how these two fall in love and over come whatever issues they each have without worrying about side characters.

OK, here's the thing. I really like the main couple, but everything else is irritating. I'm so over stupid shit…
I don't think we were supposed to care about anything really. Everything is just a plot to keep those two in scenes together and then give Fah a reason to get sad at a wedding so Prince can comfort him and move their relationship along. This show is pure romance and is not meant to say anything deeper about anything outside of the main lead's characters and relationship.

I'm definitely loving Sky way more than I did Star. The story is better, the acting is better, the characters…
Some people do invite their exes in real life and on screen for the drama. Anyway I don't dwell or feel anything about the ex because she's not the point of the show and is only there to add back story and character development.

With all the high intensity and drama of KinnPorsche, sometimes one needs something bland like this to cool off! lol!

The main couple's story was kinda rushed for me. It was just Zheng Zhe Shou had an epiphany that he couldn't lose…
Yes, it is very rushed even though the acting is good. I agree with the second couple. I cannot buy them as a couple and I don't feel their connection nor their reasons for even being together. I think the Yuki actor is also a little too 'green' for the role.
Anywho, the story is really safe and isn't pushing the boat on anything. It just is there. Good to fill time when there is nothing else but also lacking in any excitement. All the usual tropes are included.

I started watching this not realising it was Sungkyunkwan Scandal as I didn't check here first before starting as I generally like this sort of thing. I started early on realising its all too familiar and feel like I have watch this before until I went to check and saw its the Chinese version. The Korean version is 20 eps though and this is 36 so not sure if its worth committing and watching.

Sad one. Whole drama is good. The only thing was that FL will die to save ML. Only due to that I will give less…
You take joy out of ruining things for people don't you..... There is a reason there is a spoiler button and majority of MDL users take care to hide certain facts for others, they are very considerate. But there is always that one person....yeesh

I started watching this not realising it was Seven Tan and I love Seven Tan. This drama was great progress for female characters and male leads as everyone had wonderfully developed character archs and developments. There wasn't an annoying person in this or anyone with questionable motives in the main cast. Every action had a reason and to tell the story of the arch they were going through. The setting was the world of investment which was not a strong part and quite questionable in accuracy and how it actually works but the story on top of it was well done. They didn't force romance down our throat as I don't think romance was the over arching purpose. This was a successful exploration on being true to ourselves and developing and trusting our self worth. Yes, some parts were idealistic as is such for a lot of female leads in C-Dramas are often the pure idealistic type, but Seven pulls it off well as usual and the rest of the story and diverse characters hold it up. It does have its flaws here and there and could be harder hitting about certain points but it is a CDrama of a particular genre so theres only so far it will go and I am okay with that as it was a nice gentle ride and easy watch. You don't need to understand business and investment for this show, though it is heavily set in this arena. The point is the challenges and how to over come them and how to achieve your dreams while staying true to yourself.

I very much want to like this series but I really don't think either couple has chemistry and the characters just…
same. Its okay to pass the time and its only 25mins per ep, but I have seen 10min episodes where there was more chemistry and storyline. Still, not bad enough to hate it. Its just meh. Its almost like a filler story between the Historys - while we wait for MODC 2.

Not worth the hype. Acting was good, but the plot and ending was unbelievably boring. It was so hard to finish.…
I agree. I struggled to get through this. I also felt it was boring and I like shows that explore this genre, but the story was missing something and I don't now if it was the story itself or the pacing. I liked everything else about it. Great acting, great cinematography and directing... but yeah... I still was bored and left wholly unimpressed by the result of 16 episodes. I am glad they didn't botch the end, but its was quite lack lustre and anticlimactic. This is one of few kdramas I did not and could not binge.

I had high hopes for this one bcz people loves it so much but for now it is really overrated for me. Im at second…
I managed to get through this but I also struggled to get through this. No complaints with the acting or anything but something about it... pacing maybe.. there were a LOT of scenes that were far too prolonged like just people standing around looking at each other with atmospheric music over the top. I could skip a few seconds and each time and still the scene hadn't changed. Also the story telling... I think there was too much emphasis on the romance and very little substance of the meaning of life and death although they tried. The only story that in the end made me shed tears was the brother and sister reuniting story. Everything else fell a little flat in my opinion. I didn't really care about anyone one person in this show. At least they didn't have her come back so I am glad they were consistent with that. Even her leaving was lack lustre. I like stories that explore the life after death but this I felt was missing something, and I am not entirely sure what that something is. Really good performances all around though.

Go to be on cloud page on Twitter, they show how .
That explained nothing and even then its physically impossible to take your tshirt completely off when your are handcuffed to something else. They should have had their tops with them in the water dangling off the cuffs not laying on the rocks with the rest of their clothes, and then to put the shirts back on again without taking the cuffs off. Lol. What a plot hole. Way too convenient just to have them naked in the water for that scene.

Did anyone else wonder how they managed to take their shirts off to go in the river when they were hand cuffed? 😂😂

Anyway, I am enjoying this more than the book.
