I wasn't expecting much from the show since I did find it slow and lacking in any real substance or storyline to fill the time for most of the episodes. But episode 10 really got me raging about it now and its not even worth it coz it wasn't even that brilliant in the first place! Even I am confused at why I am so mad for a show I wasn't that invested in in the first place! They really did Akk dirty and really made Theo come out worse than he ever was before. Like his emotional manipulator bitch face was showing. Like some evil dictator brat who always gets what he wants by any means. He basically came to Thailand just the manipulate Akk in returning to France with him, no matter how long that took.

See. I think TonhonCholantee was watchable and fun lightheartedness because it really knew what it was and wasn't taking itself seriously. They were a bunch of actors having a good time telling a very simple story with a lot of slapstick comedy. It also respected everyone and had a good message about accepting everyone for who they were (all those brothel gals for example were always treated with respect and tolerance by Chonlatee, his mother and his bff so others did too) This tried to be something and it was so painfully slow in the beginning and so painful at the end and the only reason it was as painful and bad now is that last episode really screwed Akk over and by extension the audience who respect his efforts and his straightforward personality. That dude with the abusive mother got washed away fast... the guitarist would have been okay without Theo, the footballer also ended up in an awkward and sad position and there may be hope for a honest and true relationship with the artist and his friend in their future. They even tried to make a 20 year old adult try and get his parents back together.... then all that other nonsense that happened in ep 10. Goodness. Hot mess.

I agree with your sentiment and what you said. I also got the impression that likes Theo more than Theo likes him and Theo had Akk running in circles with all those games he was playing. He never put himself out there yet expected Akk to do so to 'prove' his love and in top of that Akk has to be his servant forever..... ugh. No equal partnerships here. Theo has managed to secure a loyal servant forever with all those mind games.

It does not seem like the type of show or genre to have anything but a happy ending. That is typically the MO. It has been years since I have seen a BL with a sad ending. They are not common these days especially Korean dramas and BL, they typically end on an uplifting note. If it was a Chinese BL, then it is time to worry.

No need to be rude. I was giving benefit of doubt and warning others that it does not have Eng sub. Not everything has to be spelled out and no need to create drama all the time by calling spam. Chill.

You keep posting links to videos without subtitles claiming they have subs. At least remove the ENG SUB part so as not to confuse people because every link you post does not have the ENG Sub you claim it does. It is not being helpful.

I have noticed that Oops always hides her account in a spoiler tag when she posts it. Probably not to get her site or MDL account flagged. Please do the same so we can all continue to enjoy the subs.

Yes it was a bit inconsistent throughout the episode and I felt it more leading up to the end of the episode with the date to the egg cutting scene. It is like they skipped a bit. But we all know Zee can do sexy scenes - kinda want to see him do a bit more. They hardly talk to each other actually. LOL. I hope next episode the pace and story improves now they are more on the same page. It took way to long to get to this point of the relationship considering how long they have been engaged for.

I feel the same way. The hair steals every scene and not even in a good way.

I think Oops Im an alien does amazing job with the subs tbh. Trying to watch it elsewhere is a nightmare because they don't make sense. But waiting two days or so until Oops Im an alien has completed subbing is good enough for me.

Speaking of voice overs - that tent scene with the drinks and the voice over fitted in so awkwardly "Its nice and fizzy"... LMAO!!

That soundtrack though was superb. Great choices all around.

It probably does because I feel even the relationship with the parents are not resolved. However, I don't think a second season would have the impact that this one has and I don't think it would stand up to it.
