My goodness this series gets more deeper and explorative every episode and everyone is pulling out their acting chops. I don't think I have seen Fluke get that deep and emotional before.

I dunno what they did with Off but he is looking so extra handsome and charismatic. His hairstyle is great, clothes styling and makeup is just all working for him.

I also love how they incorporated Gun's trust fall. That cheeky guy randomly does it IRL with Tay Tawan all the time and a bit with Off. They be minding their own business and he suddenly leans forward or back and Tay runs in to catch him from anywhere. joker.

Thanks both for helping me to hang on. I usually can binge a series but this one I am taking it slow because something is not right. I will hold out to episode 14 and see how it improves because right now I don't understand why everyone is liking this so much.

Yes it wasn't a great finessed package but it suffered greatly back then from Covid so they couldn't do what they wanted to do so we got a very rough cut. I would have liked to see the Blue storyline because that looked....interesting and I feel like its still hanging and incomplete (which it is). I think back then because of the situation we accepted what we got and it hit the spot we needed at that time. I just saw viki is now carrying it so I am not sure if it is any different to what I saw originally. I will watch it again anyway.

I just saw they have it now on Viki but here there are 13 episodes here and on Viki there are 14 and then the 3 for SaifahZon. Is it just a weird cut or does anyone know if there is extra material in the main drama?

Yes I like this social justice exploration. It isn't often done in favour of more common themes that are on the "safe" side or known to sell well. I think so far, they are tackling the issues well enough, and there are a lot of them.

Same. I wish I waited. I finished Bad Buddy and needed something else so I started. I don't find it slow at all. I don't watch this as a romance story. I like the premise of the story and that needs time to be fully explored although in some respects it is slow, in that he is no closer to any clues about what happened to Black.

Yes! He comes from the world Black and his friends are trying to destroy. His privileged life would be under threat if they succeed in swaying public opinion against the rich and their corrupt business practices etc. He could be using the intel White is naively providing to help his own interests. I don't trust him at all!

How was that 45mins?! Too short. But also weird how it can feel too fast and too slow at the same time.
Anyway, I have to say, Off's acting is really improving a lot nowadays since Puppy Honey and almost on par with Gun. Wish we could see more of Gun's acting chops though like in The Gifted. This role is quite the average fare for someone like him. Off has a more interesting character to portray that will stretch his acting skills.

yeah there was all that drama with it and I think now another production company has taken over , cast changed some, covid 19 etc. so we shall see when we finally get it and what we get. At least that is what I heard from the talk around it over the past year or so.

The term blood brothers does not relate to biological relationships. More like sworn brothers - close friends. Back in the day, this swearing oath came with being bonded by blood so each would cut their hand and shake- mixing their blood together.

Oh yeah I forgot she said that she was annoyed he then just took on the family business. I think this is plausible in this situation. Her reactions though seem overly aggressive to the whole situation though. I live in England though, we are kings and queens of passive aggressive. Lol

Yeah, I think I would be mad too but I would have dealt with it at the time and not allow people to steal that from me. If the school listened to someone else tell them I didn't want my scholarship without confirming with me, I would sue and all sorts. But then, after 20 years and getting my kids to hate others for issues I have with them , I feel uncomfortable with that idea. If I can't stand someone, I would also not live on the same street as them, let alone next door. Also, what was the big secret? I would be telling everyone the reason I have a grudge against someone.... why did she have to keep it so secretive? Also her family looks well off now and are doing well so its not like they are stuck where they are, they could move? There were just so many options available not to live in anger. Holding on to that much hate is a waste of energy when it could be avoided.
In TV land I know that its just a reason they cooked up for the plot. But plausibility... I don't think I understand her logic especially after decades have passed.
