Thanks. Yeah it’s an additional kokowa subscription. I considered paying extra but it’s not worth it as I barely have time once holidays are over. Oh well. :(
I just found this on Viki and am rewatching it for the 5th time. The first time I saw this was in 2005 and I fell…
What country are you in to see it on Viki? I am geo blocked in the UK. I think part of the reason I cannot return to it is relying on streaming services with poor quality video. If I can use my VPN to access it on Viki that would be much better and I can finally finish it!
Finally completed it after on and off for whole year, so many memories of it from childhood.8.5/10 for me
Lol I think its been more than a year. I still want to finish it but for some reason I can't get back to it even though I remember liking it. But I think it got a bit too drama heavy for me. One day I will finish this. This and Princess Wei young
So they aren't posting full episodes on Youtube anymore and Viki has it geo locked. Is anyone able to watch it on Viki and if so, what location? I have tried so many and so far no luck. I am up to episode 404 and then they stopped airing the full program on their channel. :(
Not sure if it is a cultural thing, but developing a perfume "Smelling like mother" and buying sanitary pads on…
Regarding the Sanitary thing, I just thought there was an off screen conversation about it but in real world it was a product placement, that is why it seemed so forced. The number of times they spoke the same script about its freshness and smell blah blah whenever they could - wow.
The whole perfume thing was a loose idea to remind us that she was a mother and has another type of personal experience and understanding than the other workers in the company (as if no one else working there had kids). Also very forced and silly.
There were a lot of silly forced situations and scenes that didn't quite fit.
I don't know how I got through this. It was cute enough but you have to suspend belief and all logic and then…
It was nice that they had a single mother story as it is rarely done. But this was typical in that the child was forgotten for most of it, like she didn't even show that she was contacting her child or wanted to see her child at all. Also the fact that she gave up custody and compensation from the divorce and she can only get her son if she has a job? That would NEVER happen because she could have kept her son and received alimony and child support. Her friend is a top lawyer and didn't advise her about this?? She didn't seek help about this if she really wanted her son?
We have to suspend all logic and belief through this drama. It is one of those that every thing that happens is done out of convenience to move things along rather than it making any sense to the story. It was also quite disjointed in that I often felt there were scenes and information missing.
I think it was doing an okay job to pass the time and the leads were cute enough together and the FL was mature enough in handling the relationship. But I think what made me angry was the final episode that was totally rushed. I didn't even realised the series ended. She gave up on custody of her son then? Because she had an apparently high paying job for a long time and still made no efforts to take him back.
The whole PTSD was a joke in the end. Nothing happened. The other kid just ran into a rock. Apparently he had contusions and bruises like someone stepped on his face .... but no... he just ran into a rock and everyone believed his story.... They could have all just assumed that in the first place? Is that something to have PTSD over? One kid collapsed / ran into a wall and another into a boulder? There were like that for all of 2 minutes before being rescued. What big drama over nothing.
Another big disappointment was the fake gay man. I was quite impressed that they had such a character to begin with but then it turned out to be some really weird act and he became a boring man so he can date a girl? I really don't know where to start or end with that one. Ridiculous. Then again it is China and not Taiwan so I guess they were trying to get around something there. But I rather them not have had not character at all if they were just gonna straight wash him anyway and strip all personality and motivations.
I don't know how I got through this. It was cute enough but you have to suspend belief and all logic and then most of it will be enjoyable enough. But there are much better dramas out there.
I'm sure Pran and Pat don't know Wai was the one who outed them. Ohm said in the reaction to episode 9 that he…
The Wai issue has been resolved now surely. Pran got his friend back, Wai has settled things with Pat by giving evidence that it wasn't his gun. All's well that ends well on that side. Nothing like good old gun violence to settle ill feelings amongst friends in a drama.
The watch is probably still in play as the whole parent and the past issue is the next thing they will tackle.

Yeah I doubt the Wai thing will be picked up. It's not important anymore in the grand scheme of things. It doesn't really make a difference knowing Pran's character either. Seeing as this show doesn't make a big thing about being gay, the "coming out" thing won't have much impact in this world. If it was a straight story it happened in, it wouldn't matter or make a difference. Either way their relationship got exposed and the after effects are being dealt with. The final thing left are the parents.
I was worried this was gonna be too heavy for me to watch but it was just right. Nicely done but also standard fare. Great acting all around and I laugh at the comments as 90% seem to be about the level of hotness in this drama - I ain't gonna lie, there is a lot of good looking and well built going around in this. Would have liked to know how she lives - is she constantly on the run, does she serve time? But I was left satisfied nonetheless.
I wouldn't call any part in this drama "romance". Just two traumatised people relieving their stress and a sufficient device to push the plot to the final outcome. There was no love between them but a lot of mutual respect and understanding.
I am unclear whether he lived or died and Nut was just living in his own fantasy because of that phone call in the end ? Am I reading too much into this?
A simple story but the way it was done in such a short time and on a mobile I guess, was really well done. Good quality filming and acting and production in limited time.
This looks like it was taken straight out of an erotic manga. All about the perfect man and innocent kawaii infantile girl. Since I am used to the style, I like it. They did it well. It could have been way worse. Plus as its 10 episodes, totally allowable to watch. Not something to take seriously. I haven't seen this much skinship outside of BL in a whiiiile since I switched to watching Asian dramas. Not even In Need of Romance has this much I think. lol. So much blushing was had watching this.
I think some STEM females had high hopes for this drama. In Asia, the middle East and the West, female STEMs are…
As a computer scientist, I understand but I find Cdramas are wholly unrealistic and follow a formula where the female has to exhibit certain qualities of what they think they should be - completely pure and cute, and they don't care about the set up around the characters at all so often how they play the characters doesn't make sense to someone who is in a particular environment or career. The male leads are often tsundere jerks. Once in a blue moon you get a drama that tries to break this a little - but I mean really once in a while. I really had to suspend all knowledge of tech and programming when watching Love 020 and I quite enjoyed it when I ignore all the stuff about programming. At least she was a strong woman who held her own even though it was implausible and she still played the doting 'wife - pure woman' role. I just started this. I am not sure how it's going to go. It does not look too promising atm but its only just setting it up. Already I see the really classic tropes appear (not the good ones) and it's only been 20mins.
