- Lee Jung-jae; 2 DUIs, assault charges and possibly outed a gay friend who had committed s**cide - all these happened over multiple years. First assault charge was specifically "for dragging out a 22-year-old woman from her car in front of a night club, and kicking her with his feet causing injuries that require two weeks of recovery."

- Oh Dal-soo; proven to have sexually abused MULTIPLE women/actresses in 2018. (Guess what's his latest project? I, The Executioner - Movie that is currently dominating the box office in Korea, happens to also be a big blockbuster sequel to a very famous film)

- Lee Byung-hun; a bunch of different allegations, most infamously cheated on his actress wife when she was pregnant with their first child. (Take a guess, who is being ridiculed for this more on the internet today -- him or his wife?)

- Lee Jin-wook; accused (then acquitted) of r*ping a woman in 2016.

Anyone knows any other korean drama with even more human trash in the cast? No? And of course, this just so happens to be the sequel of Netflix's number one most streamed show in history, a.k.a. it's a guaranteed global hit. Everyone and their mommas want part of the pie, and of course, it's these people who are inserted into the show. It's not a coincidence, it's just that these are the powerful ones in the industry, or they have the connections/big agencies/backers. Also, they're all men because an actress committing a fraction of their deeds will have her exiled from the industry forever. DISGUSTING 🤮

The fact that this movie got "decent" critic reviews has made these critics lose their credibility in my eyes. I shouldn't have trusted them and wasted my time. Long-winded, empty, there's no depth to the plot at all and the characters are paper thin. If you forget about the cast, this is just a bad movie. I can't believe this got 5 nominations at the Buil Film Awards... I can understand JDY's nomination but Best Film?? They've got to be kidding because this is actually one of the worst films of the year??? Sometimes I think these awards shows and critics are just giving face to the A-list chungmuro actors... I will actually be speechless if Blue Dragon nominates it as well.

Idk about his innocence but my point still stands anyway. People say nothing when he and 2 other CONFIRMED problematic men are starring in a huge blockbuster, but suddenly become boycotters when he's in a romance show. The selective hating is pointless, stupid and hypocritical.

My personal opinion. TWOE and WTS were above average. Before those, everything I saw from him after Healer was either horrible (BR, MMS) or below average/mediocre (LITS, SP, TSOM, K2). This is considering he's an A-list actor who should be getting better offers. But I know this isn't far off from the general opinion of his projects.

I haven't but I know it wasn't well-received in SK at all. So I'm not planning to watch it at all lmao

I only watched her in The Call where she was very good, but she's miscast here. Her looks, body language and tone of voice don't match the role. But to be fair, this show is somehow making many of the cast look like worse actors than they usually are. Idk how the director did that.

His 2 shows last year weren't bad, I thought he was starting to break his streak of bad project choices. But this show is one of the worst things I have seen this year. Like I can't believe they actually splurged 30bil won on this.

That's not the only problem. The only unique thing about S1 is the historical background and it being based on actual atrocities during WWII. Now there's none of that and the plot/trailer for S2 seems like any other mass-produced fantasy romance drama...

"people who are complaining about it should focus on the stuff that happens in real life and not what happens in a TV SHOW"... What??? I mean, you can disagree with others' opinions but people are allowed to complain about something they don't like?? Especially since this is a TVING exclusive show which means most people are paying to watch it. It's like telling Netflix subscribers they have no right to criticize the Netflix shows they're paying to watch. Wtf.

I'm dumbfounded by how different this comment section is to Sweet Home, which latest season was released a month ago with the same ML. There is literally NO REASON for everyone to be okay with SH while this show is being boycotted. But since SH3 has flopped anyway, I'll just move on.

Everyone, boycotting s*x criminals should not only apply to romance dramas. Please remember to boycott and spread the same warnings in the comment section of Squid Game 2. It not only has Lee Jin-wook as a supporting cast, but also Oh Dal-su who was not only accused, but also admitted to s*xually abusing MULTIPLE women/actresses. Not to mention, the literal main lead Lee Jung-jae has a criminal history with 2 cases of assaulting women. Why is there no mention of all this in SG2's comment section??? Because yall can turn a blind eye when your favourite oppas are in the show? 🙄🤦‍♂️ Let's not engage in this pointless, selective boycotting of small productions. Remember to give the exact same treatment to the blockbusters as well!!!

It's funny how you seem so bothered by the simple fact that I don't like your favourite netflix kdrama of the year. You say I have a right to my opinion, but right before that you're insinuating that I don't understand what I am watching. Interesting.

This could have made a decent movie... But 8 episodes is wayyyy too long for what it is. 60% of it is a whole lot of nothing, the theme is very straightforward but barely even ties in with the story. They keep repeating the same message in the start of every episode but it hardly serves any purpose, maybe other than yapping at us "hey, remember what our show is about??" Seriously, the pretentiousness was leaking from the screen. Like, I get the point already! Stylishness and a FL that's easy on the eyes isn't going to save an empty and soulless plot. I had to stop watching on my TV and switch to a device where I could use 1.5x speed.

Even so, the sad truth is that this barely average thriller is already among the better netflix korean releases this year. Almost everything else is worse than this. Just goes to show how korean shows have seriously declined in quality 😩

You have to know that this guy was acquitted. Koreans think he was falsely accused in the case. He's literally been out and about starring in big productions and variety shows with his labelmates etc. Regardless of what we think, his reputation in Korea is NOT the same as on twitter. So how do you even know that SHS or SJH know about this entire thing? You can't expect that all his colleagues know of the details of HIS lawsuit that happened years ago. Seriously, it's his own issue, criticize him but keep innocent people out of it.

My logic is perfectly fine. It is you who's not being objective about this. The "healing" and "romancing" is all part of the job in the end. This guy probably made more bank and gained more fame from all those seasons of Sweet Home, than he will ever make from this show. If yall want him blacklisted, you should be boycotting ALL of his shows. (Though it's also pointless since the koreans see no issue with him, but still.) Like, Squid Game 2 is literally a giant blockbuster guaranteed to top Netflix charts. Does it make any sense for you to be fine with him being in that - just because it doesn't have romance, but not this drama which is clearly a small-ish production?? This selective hating serves zero purpose at all!

I am looking forward to this, but they somehow made the second poster look AI generated. Is it just me? Also it's a bummer that so many of the promising upcoming shows aren't streaming on netflix.

I like that PSH is taking on a new character but honestly, this poster looks more like fan art to me.

I wonder why some are swearing to boycott this drama because of the ML, but also watched Sweet Home despite the fact that its first season aired much closer to his scandal 🤨 I've also seen comments on twitter blaming SHS for agreeing to act with him, and some towards his female co-stars for his upcoming movies. As if it was their call and not the casting teams'. I have never seen such criticism when it came to his other recent works. Some people are just hypocrites, or maybe they suddenly develop moral principles in situations where they get to hate on women?? 🙄🤮

There's still no chance. Each country only submits one movie, Revolver is far from being well received enough to qualify. Exhuma will most likely be chosen but that also doesn't guarantee a nomination
