Change takes time, just a note it is often a question of how open the society is for how many people who feel comfortable to come out, so the amount is probably the same no matter where in the world or time for that matter the difference is how many have the words to define it as well as are in an inviormant where they feel safe enough to come out. Still I appreciate you taking the time to share your thaughts. I also think that there are more in the older genaration who are longing to come out themselvs.
This is such a well-written article. Thank you so much! In Mr. Queen, I enjoyed the main character's growing confusion…
You are so welcome, thank you for reading and complementing it β€ I dropped A Korean Odessy, for some reason it was not bad jus tdid not fit my mood at the moment and can not remember tht character but I may just have to look in to it since you are the secound person who mentions it.
Go a head drama that famous one yes ,, has a scene made my blood boils when they are supposed to be siblings like…
And to think it even passed me by so I had to go back and watch it for this scene for this article, just shows how easy it is to miss these things even as someone fairly aware... any way thank you for commenting on this. π
You are welcome and thank you for your thoughts, I am not asking them to completely stop showing it just to call it what it is π and make sure those who have been subjected to this type of behavior feel empowered and that they are not to blame.
I can see how the crossdressing could be a problem for some people. For me, I do not see it that way. I'm been…
Thank you for reading and for your thoughts, I can not recall seeing a boy's. I think it can be problematic when boy's dress up as girls to be silly because it can give out the message that a person who is believed to be a boy dresses in clothing assigned to girls is not to be taken sereusly. And creates an inviorment where it would be hard to come out as queer, intergender, trans etc. But it is all a question of how it is done. I can not speak about how it was done in your school because I have notcseen that cas and I have seen these done both really well funny while punching upwords but also the other way around
I think that this was the type of article I was expecting for the first article on consent you wrote. I do agree…
Thank you again for taking your time, I really enjoy reading how you interpert my articles. I think I love both types just as much but look for different types of dramas depending on my mood, I also have different expectations from them.
I did want this one to have a differen tone and to to give more sullotions and concrete examples of the different shade. Both telling those that have had their boundaries crossed that it is not their fault and telling those who do crosd the line that it is not the world if you take a wrong step as long as you own up to it and appolagise (depending on the size of the step).
I did want people to see the different shades of consent, showing that it is both complex but also easier than one might think to practice.
Anyway thank you again for your feedback. And have a nice (whatever time it is where you are) π.
Just a side note If and when I will write in an academic journal I will probably avoid the gifs and skip the sarcasm but oh how much more fun they would be if we could include those... (there are of course a lot of interesting journals too).
Wow, this is a compelling read. I didn't realize there was so much source material following Part 1, this is great!…
Thank you oh there is still pleanty of material to write about, but after these three slightly dare I say contraversial articals (for some) the upcoming ones in editing at the moment are a bit more humoures and less awearness oriented. But I think I may just ask fot permission to write a part 3 in the future. Anyway I am happy you enjoyd it and look forward to seening you again in my comments section.
Thank you for writing this. It was an enjoyable read. I rarely give much thought to crossdressing characters in…
Thank you so much for your comment, I am glad you liked it. Bodyshaming, fat fobia and beutystanderds could deffenetly make a great follow up article some day in the future. I have only read a few about bodystanderds and fat fobia and it has been a while if i were to be honest so we will see.. One of the outcast women in in Tale of Nukdo is what most people would call overweight and comes of as more bad ass than fat. The team in Weightligting fairy Kim Bok Joo are also more than a punchline to name a few of the better examples Oh my Venus had potential to be of the more health less fat shaming kind but faild by the end... so there is defenetly a lot to write/talk about there too. Any way keep watching and stay critical π¦Ύ
and here I am again ...(pls don't mind me spamming ...and even if you do mind I can't help ... ) i forgot to say…
Ooh that is so sweet, if there will be a part 3 ill be sure to give you another chance β€ I'm so happy you like it! As the old person I am I just love it when the younger generation finds my writing fab πβπΌ
You are more than free to write about lack of consent and red flag behavior found made by woman if you would like.…
It is all about power relations and about violence by men beeing a structural global problem. However I do not in any way say that non consensual kisses from any sex are okay, how you came to that conclusion when I clearly state that consent wise this is however questionable, is beyond me. I honestly do not see any meaning with continuing this conversation with you, but wish you all the best.
I have not seen many of these dramas so I will not comment on them, but first of all, you have got to be joking…
You are more than free to write about lack of consent and red flag behavior found made by woman if you would like. I motivated my focus on mens behavior in both part 1 and 2 bringing up women's behavior here is what some people would call derailment.
About CLOY I am honestly cureus about peoples take on it that is why the title for that part was caring or controlling, I wrote that I myself was not sure and am still not sure how I feel about it thus my hope was to have an open discussion on this matter.
I do however appolagise if I offended you in any way that was not my intention with this series.
I find this comment confusing, what are you comparing to neon clothing and eating dogs exactly?
I tried to give you the benefit of a doubt but do not see any point in discussing with this further with you. I sincerity do hope you will understand that difference but I will not be the one to further try to explain it for you.
Thank you for this "lovely " dark overview... hmm what is missing let me see Sky Castle, Bring it on ghost and maybe black would fit in I have seen some of these dramas and really do love them espessially Save Me and Strangers from hell really tick a lot of my boxes. I really love the estetics of this article it feels all bloddy and perfectly dark.
Thank you so much for your thoughts I think youmake an interesting and pretty spot on compareson between the two…
Honestly the best thing about writin here (besides the obvious fun otlet for ones creativety) is interacting eith the readers, especially those who really take the time to read and try to understand + draw their own conclusing like you did. Part 2 of Consent will be on the homepage on october 27th but is avalable now I would love to read your thought on it if you have the time and intrest.
