Fluff at its best

This is a really sweet and fun romcom with several nice couples, music and a dash of awkwardness. The first episode was a bit low on the humor part but second to eleventh episodes where a feast for the aye and just fun to watch as Icicle or male god and smiles go from fake to real, hetero to bi , hate to love couple in the most adorable way yes all those common tropes in one that are allot of fun to watch. The side characters and side stories are 80% sweet 15% stalkers and 5% annoying at times but over all very lovable.

The main couple is adorable but it bothers me that one seems to have to want be more physical than the other a common theme in many dramas. Why cant we just see two people want to kiss each other instead of the no means yes? or no means just convince me more? the line is not crossed, there are no forced kisses or so just not very mutual though the feeling grow to be very mutual its the physical part that does not seem to sync. Still a very sweet story and adorable character growth with lots of fun fluffy scenes.

Then there is some unnecessary trouble that dragged down the overall experience and score for this show but all in all definitely an easy drama that is worth a watch.

I laughed so loud I think the whole neighborhood heard it

At first I was worried that the fact that all the roles where played by men would turn men in drag in to a punchline but I quickly found that not to be the case. The acting here was surprisingly good while the humor was so bad it made it so very, very, very good.

Every singel joke was just terrible yet funny in a non offensive way. The chemistry between the leads was also good and the whole group was just so adorable fitting in so many trops in to 30 minutes of pure laughter.

My humor may be low some times but it is okay to not have divine humor ;)

Is there really anything after Love?

A beautiful story about love, youth, and loneliness. A romdrama in its true sense where what is not said speaks louder than what actually is said. A silence so painful it broke my heart, over and over again making me feel stuff.

That said this drama also has a whole lot of fluff, there to make sure you see the difference between the joyful past and the numb present. this is also a drama that uses hair to speak to the audience, not only as a marker of time but also something that had me wondering how they could keep their hair that straight or curly for so long...

The OST is one that I will probably remember for a long time, the line: "Hold me in your eyes" in the context of the drama has such great meaning, as the mimics may try to lie but the eyes tell the story, them and of course the hair.

A highly bingebale drama thatI do recommend, and is probably more of an 8.75 than an 8.5

Thirst scenes and smiles as far as stream can reach...

"I'v wanted to lick your muscles since the first time I saw you" is pretty much what this drama has to offer... As we enter the story of the at times slightly annoying wedding planer and the groom with a wedding plan to do the planner.... Spending more time showing the audience his upper body muscles than fully clothed or talking making this an entertaining watch but ot a lot more.

The story itself is okay, it is not good, not bad, it has some sweet and fun moments, a prolonged misunderstanding making most of the viewers think of the geney in Aladdin begging him to just tell the planner the truth and put him out of his misery... but also done in a very evil yet playful way.

The cast and characters are lovely, all in need of an acting lesson or 10, and while I will admit that I was entertained and found several of the cast a pleasure to watch their mimics where often wrong or felt forced focusing a lot more on making scenes where people lick each other than actually delivering dialog beyond smiles and gazes that is.

And well I guess that is the point here the story and delivery could have been a lot better if the focus was on the delivery of dialog instead of making people thirst. That said some of the dialog was actually pretty good and there where actually moments of meaning here and there...

So if you are in the mood for some sweet moments and misunderstanding with a lot of heat this is a really good choice. But if you are sensitive to bad acting or in need of any type of depth you might as well skip this watch.

P.S. Lom (Sunny) may need some acting lessons or better directing but still gets a 10 from me and th eMCD PPL is off the charts

Great friendship, draggy unnecessary emotional porn....

This drama has allot of good parts but also ALLOT of draggy emotional lectures that seem to be there to show us how doctors should talk to their patients surrounded by all things that seem to be there so the audience will feel emotional... but instead of emotional it just made me tierd sick and brought out my less pacifistic side... It is ofcourse nice to see doctors actually doing their job in a medical drama, putting the patients and their needs first but it just gets to be to much. The way it is edited and added violins and pianos here and there is supposed to bring out the tears but just felt artificill and had the opposite affect on me. The amount of times people in the drama say thank you or apologize would make a lethal drinking game, that not a single person could survive.

What the drama does well is showing allot of types of bonds and friendships between both the patients, their families and the main cast making way for both extremely slow paced romance, bromance, romance , finding comfort in a person in the same situation at the hospital, etc... The 5 friends are playful, fun to watch and just make you wish you where part of their band.

I love that they make way for the female lead to sing even though her singing is just awful, I love the way they use rain to make beautiful emotional scenes (yes some emotional scenes where done well) , i love the food and I love the camping scenery. All things that almost made up for the annoying never ending lectures.. to be honest friendship 10 stars, lectures 5 stars, romance 9 stars.... becomes 8 stars all together. But in a way I find myself wanting to say I am not mad at the creators I am just disappointed...

Sweet fluff with a slightly iffy start

This is one of those easy to watch drams at least for those who love workaholic bickering leas and sides with spunk. However it starts off showing the male lead digging holes in Africa , where in Africa we do not know but it is clear that there is a yeloow filter and slight saviour complex with it. Knocking off a star and indeed distracting those first minutes. I remember this being highly criticised when the show was released which is probably why I kept off watching it for so long. That said I have seen a lot worse in dramaland and I am going to believe that they meant well etc.

Once we passed the little awkward start, I got to see a whole bunch of fan characters. Though the acting varied in cringe and quality sometimes, no one annoyed me to the point of wanting to skip their scenes. The three best friends are really cool and have this great respect towards each others boundaries. Fun to watch in every scene, and to be honest the friendships especially the journalist best friend as well as the lawyer dude and the cappuccino where a lot more fun to watch than our main leads.

The little drama that wa sin this felt kind of meeh, but the characters and romance was good so forget the plot and jus twatch it for the bickering, the sweet fluff and mindless fun.

Not so much Racing Pit but more of a Hot Babe...

Going in to this I thought this might be about car racing and loads and loads of testosterone and playboy goes loverboy...

But I was wrong, oh so wrong... Instead I got Marvels fuckerboys... trust no one and the evil philanthropist with a slight side dish of racing.

To be fair I got the playboy falls in love part done pretty ok, and I got more hot steam than I could process.... As I do believe they try to teach us the importance of fucking before well pretty much anything... As one of the main themes of the story is when in doubt just gp fu** someone... Need to focus before a race? do it in the locker room, need to unwind after a race do it on a couch.. need to get over the pain of loosing a friend do it in a bed... Not fucking before race may just may cost someones life or at least the car.

The romance does not have so much process and more of a I like the way you smell. Chemistry was good and the kinship (ok sex) was so hot I thought my lap top would catch fire...

However the plot was extremely predictable once things started to unfold, with the exception of one or two twist. Babe has enough mood swings to blow out the fire in my lap top and though most of the casts acting was okay, even good most of the time Poohs (the guy who plays Charlie) acting was kind of meeh (also most of the time)

An okay watch but nothing I would truly recommend.... At leas not for the plot.

Who am I, and what do I love

This is a sweet story about a girl who lost her memory and the people who deceive her on her way to self discovery, love and and life.

Amnesia may sound innocent but in reality it has a whole lot of dangers and challenges with it, who can I trust, who am I?, why the hell am I working at this grey boring job? Come to think of it this drama rather showed nuance to the amnesia trope and some how managed to show that thugh there is a lot of confusion and danger always look at the bright side of amnesia as it may be just what you need to find your true self (who ever you are), Encouraging people to fall down steep staircases wherever they may be:

Always look at the bright side of hitting your head ... (whistle) Always look at the bright side of amnesia... it maybe just what you need to put your life in to place (whistle)....

But honestly people, do not try this at home.

A sweet romance mystery that had me guessing about who is who and why....

Oh my Girls, underrated gem

I am writing this review after a rewatch 2 day binge this about 5 yeast after I watched it the first time and remembering as a favourite and to be honest it still measures up among the great dramas out there.

To be fair this drama has several flaws.

The male lead is not really dreamy, he has his moments but he is pretentious, border on annoying and not the type to have me swoon at all. The soo Chef is so annoying and badly written I honestly wanted to hit him with a frying pan just to get him to shut up. Predictable unnecessary low humour, loud and the sole reason this did not get a 10 star rating.

As for the rest of the side characters, they do their jobs well, some have annoying tenedenacys bit most are truly amazing and a pleasure for the eye.

The girls Park Bo Young, Kim Seul Gi, Shin Hye Sun and Park Jung Ah where truly phenomenal. Especially Park Bo Young and Kim Seul Gi. The ways they interact, the emotions the different characters Park Bo Young portrayed where done extreamly well showing so many personalities this truly makes up for the manly flaws. The two girls characters are so interesting to watch, their growth the way they got there the misunderstandings.

The way this story progresses is also done really well developing from one genre to another while keeping a red thread alive. The way the romance and characters develop along side the whole ghost and possession theme to this. Watching this the second time it was clear to see when and where the romance started and ended for each character. Something that I truly find impressive. but to be honest with or without the romance it was the affect the girls had one each others characters development, odd friendship and protection that was truly amazing to follow.

So basically mind the men, and watch this for the sismance, make sure not to miss out on this hidden gem.

Also, Fighting!

Was it really love?

They ate (sometimes) , they ran (away) they loved (money) but above all they loved the self sacrifice and the self blame... So much that it became agonising to watch, yet for some reason I stuck with it probably because the highly predictable side characters where kind of sweet. That said I came to the point where I was so fed up with the leads self inflicted misery that I figured they could just keep at it and live in regret for the rest of their lives...

If my wish came true or not is of course up to you who choose to watch this (or check the tags) to find out and for me to know since I made it to the end.

The leads in this are not human, at all there is not a single bit of logic humanity in them, super fit, workaholics with no neuance either they are in complete dispeir or the best of the best rich, fit, top of their class gods. or poor, on the floor, pale bearly surviving or they can be deep in debt, sued , not be able to get a job... but magically get back up agin to the top.... Up and down, back and fourth never ending jojolike business gibberish that was so boring I honestly stopped caring.

The side characters have to little process and screen time, but where actually pretty decent and lovable.

The parents in this are either gems or the perfect villain, still lack depth and their storylines make very little sense but I did enjoy how one of the perants was impossible to love, at all breaking the all parents are good. the rest of the villains in this lack depth, but they are indeed evil and kind of lacking in braincells even if they seem smart at times their actions as well of what motivates them is just off.

That said for some reason this drama was an easy binge but I would not recommend it unless you love business the leads, love people who self blame and self sacrifice to the max In that case you may have a new favourite.

Kind of sweet

This drama has one of my favourite tropes, it also has some fun characters a sweet cat and a lot of people who are oblivious. The story is highly predictable but once in a few episodes I could see some new turns which was kind of nice.

the lack of communication in this is a bit over the top at times and the reason for the marriage feels a bit off.

But over all an okay watch that kept my attention and had me entertained.

Sweet friendships, less sweet male lead

This is a drama about the secretly kind not so kind Kou, the girls who fall for him and the friendships that they build. It is also a story about trying to find true friendships in high school while making sure no one has to sit alone.

I enjoyed watching the girls interact mainly with each other but also with Kou, his brother and the other guy and a musician (that could probably give most people sls) . I also enjoyed watching the relationship between the leads unfold. However I did spend a bit to much time wanting to shake some sense in to guy and tell him to stop hurting Yoshioka Futaba, making me wish for her to break loose from her crush and go for bread, the other guy or heck why not choose Yuri?

Honestly the way Futaba interacted with bread felt a lot better than the ones with Kou most of the time... Bread is consistent, you can count on bread ...

Kou does have a sad story aura to him which is one of my favourite types of male leads but he also treated Futaba like his possession, taking her for granted and not really caring about her feelings. She could give, and give, and give and he could interact with other girls, ignore her and basically just disappear but whenever anyone dared get near his possession he would flip sides and just expect all to forget that he otherwise completely ignored her...

So for the next season I guess I am hoping either Kou or Futaba (or both) comes to their senses and either move on or or Futaba gets treated better.

It was still a good watch and I am indeed looking forward to watching season two.

Gender rolls, oh gender rolls....

A generous 8, I should probably have rated this a 7 oe a 7,5 but the acting and characters where all portrayed pretty well but the story just did not sit well with me... having me wish for divorce over and over again... Making me wish for the female lead to end up single, with her ex, with her pregnant best friend honestly I would settle for someone who knows how to do the dishes at some point.

As for the male lead I wanted to send him off to live hon his own for a while so he could grow up. learn to take care of him self and stand up agains his mom... or just stop using her as an excuse. Fine he had his sweet awkward adorable moments, and I do get why a person would fall for him (also he does look pretty decent) but people! We deserve more equal relationships.

As for the mother in law, she brought out my even less civilised side and would easily make my list of people I wish would fall of a cliff, move out in the woods, or I don´t know just loose their voice so they'd stop hurting other people...

Why I rated it an 8? besides the over all characters done well... The female lead has some really good monologs and moments 8mostly in the first half), and the female leads ex is such a sweety... Also they did show some pretty interesting issues, not always doen well... bit indeed did show soma angles we do not get to see so often.

Goodbye, Love Please...

This was cringe, story felt off and with a lot of over the top stuff. miles, miles away from the fist seasons charm this seemed to try to tell a similar story about the hardships of starting over in a new country but without the charm of the first season. Kathryn Bernardos acting and presance is the only reason I made it til the end of this but by the end of the show I purely could not have cared less about the rest of the cast besides maybe the hot americano...

P.s. while the prequel has lots of good lines this one repeated some of the old and added one good line about an americano... thats it.

Steamy kisses, curry and bad pretty much everything else

Coward arrogant male lead meets hard working, stubborn and loud female lead in this old school drama.

A drama filled with scheming, food and more scheming.

If you are a fan of curry this may be worth watching for the food.

If you are a fan of using food to tell a message, and actually liek what they are trying to say then it may be worth it for that.

If you enjoy found family, this one has some pretty interesting angles for this.

Me I was mostly in it for the chemistry, bickering and intense romance, something that I did get. Along with the ocasional wrist grab, pinup agains wall. All things that where actually not really romanticised as most non consensual behaviour was actually acknowledge and not just as that. " I have never treated a woman this badly".

HOWEVER it was served with just a bit to much curry, loud over the top acting and nonsense to make it actually worth it.

I have read that some say it should have ended after 17 episodes, I disagree, if it would have ended after 17 episodes there would have been a lot of loose ends. There are still some parts that where rushed while other dragged out episode after episode after episode seriously the 7 days felt like 7 years, ok maybe moths, Also the men in this clearly do not know how reproductive organs work,

So if you are in the mood for some curry, bad lighting, shaky camra and steamy kisses and can deal with all the bad acting, over the top yelling, and nothing fully being delt with this is an okay place to find it.
