A lot of growth in a bit to short time.
I could pretty much start this review with all the words I said in the review for season one as the first few episodes really had the same feels and I indeed wanted nothing more than to to push Kou off his high horse.. and free him from his saviour complex and make him realise how much he is hurting the girl he is supposed to love. Some of my wishes came though, others did not but one thing was clear in this season and that is that every single character grew, with rocket speed character development and people wanting to be part of the ride. Making me go you go girl! but also, no, no, no...
I do not really know how much I am willing to forgive and forget, and I I have conflicting feelings about both male leads. That ssaid I love the honesty between the musician and Futaba. Another thing is certain, I miss Yuri and the bread as they had way to little screen time this season. However all in all it was a good sequel, juat as good if not better in a way.

Morally ambiguous, hot and full of umbrellas
This is an easy watch about people caught in seemingly fine relationship that have been taken over by lack of communication and sexual frustration. When one part clearly needs something else but dare not say it, finding someone who understands can not only bring comfort but also offer some kind of relief.
What I love about this drama is that it lets us in to the land of relationships gone bad from a perspective we rarely get to see and does not skimp on the consequences. The strain of thought and everything within, the different ways to deal with all these conflicting thoughts and the difference between consensual behaviour and not so consensual behaviour are all showing pretty well.
I cant say this is a sweet and pure story, but it did get my mind working.

Brain off type of drama
To watch this drama you must first switch off your brain, and try to ignore the signals telling you this can not be right... on like any logical, ethical or ethnical level.Once you pass the second hand embarrassment and wtf of the me Tarzan you My man or I will keep you in a cage phase... If you make it though it that is you will then move on to some more second hand embarrassment, 0 logic and by that I mean really 0 logic plotlines, rushed twists, never ending plot lines and more second hand embarrassment.
HOWEVER
The female lead is a blast, she is fun, smart, naive, yet really, really cool, lovable. Why oh why she would fall for the male lead is beyond me.
Fine the dude has a nice smile and a certain playfulness and the whole irresistible tame the playboy charm... And the leads interactions are ideed fun to watch. But the female lead is waaaay out of his league. And the plot around him is just so very meeeh,
The friendships again make 0 sense but are kind of cute and the old dude predictable as he may be has his charm.
Back to the twists the only thing to keep them from being spotted a mile a way is the thought that it would be to obvious or to stupid so they really shouldnt go there... but honestly they are that stupid they really are.
The dubbing is also bad...
So if you can turn off your brain, and fall for the female lead as much as I did you may make it to the end, if you cant then watch litterely anything else. Your can find better.

Whispering, Short, Sweet kind of Sexy
This is an easy binge, a nice pallet cleanser between heavier drama, packed with humour flirting, insecurity. In the center of this drama there is a big misunderstanding and traumas past, There to offer some kind of meaning to this otherwise easy flirtatious fluff.
The pacing is a bit fast for my taste, and I do believe they use action above words most of the time... But they did make way for some pretty sexy and fun shower and bed scenes offering us such great lines as "Do you ever think of me while you play with yourself in the shower"
A decent watch, with nothing but lovable interesting characters.
P.S. The whispers in this deserve a tag of their own.
Also the casting for the young versions was perfection.

More than blue indeed...
This is a story of love, loss, pain, coping, secrets, playfulness, happiness, pain, and some more pain.As we follow several stories of loss and dare I say obsession. All done really well, making me feel a whole bunch of emotions and even shedding a tear or two.
I love pretty much all of the leads in this drama, they have som much character, depth and exhibit not only a wide range of emotions the dynamics and the flow of the story is done really well. Even though they jump back and fourth in space and time... realism and fantasies I found myself consumed by the story and not the least bit confused.
There are a few slightly annoying side characters, but their screen time is limited enough to no take a way from the powerfulness of the story.
A story that was so much more than just the colour and depth of the ocean blue... That had me hooked, pulled in and before I knew it 10 episodes had passed...

Mindless entertainment
This is the type of drama where you have to turn off your brain, values and pretty much all sense of... well everything and just let it go and let the stupidity lead you to that next episode. In this highly bingable low quality high entertainment drama. While many dramas will ave you dreading the inevitable brek-up before reconciliation this one had me cheering for the misunderstandings to pile up so that the female lead would finally dump the male lead and settle for a cat, a goat or some cute playboy (or girls) far, far away...
It is also a drama that even with brain power off still had me wondering, if the male lead knows he cant control himself after drinking two drops of alcohol, why does he still drink alcohol?
Why does the male lead look like a dog trying to dominate another dog when he kisses the female lead?
And why do all the kisses look either fake no lips attached or like they are trying to take a bite out of the other persons lips?
It also offers some of the worst cross dressing out there... But I do believe I did spot a lesbian confession somewhere around the end along side a lesson in girls can also be programmers. So between the toxic, the lack of communication, the bad, the landscape of red flags and more or less sexual dominance/assault... and the double standards there seems to be som kind of a women can agenda as well...
Making me wonder what the ***** the writer, producer and censorship officer where thinking when they made/passed this drama, but I also want to thank them all for this mindless entertainment I so desperately needed thus rating it an 8 .

She knows he is bad but is feels so good
This is basically cool girl meets ganster and looses not only herself but pretty much her cool. As we are thrown in tho the world of each f**** could be the last he will call her if he is alive. On this lustfilledjourney we get to see a whole lot of wristgrabs, women being thrown over the sholder wood, flower petals and luscious outfits.
Sex and drugs and not so much rock n roll but pistols...
As mer Cold hard gangser becomes warm hard lover... To his assertive sexually forward female lead (and secound female lead) who knows what and who she wants
Offering such lovely lines as Its not enough, I want more of mr. Oya. I need him to fill me up, fast. I need to be filled up by mr Oya so there is no gap anywhere" some more lines... We did it over and over... i almost lost consciousness...Basically saying she wants more even if she looses consciousness and I am pretty sure she did not mean she wanted ice cream.
Basically prapare yourself for longing and blood shed and flowery sex scenes in pretty much every episode. An easy watch just not infron of the children...

Very memorable
I first watched this drama when I was still new to dramas a few years ago and decided to rewatch it with my husbad because he showed a little interest to the historical aspect of a different drama. And this one has a lot of History in it.This is one of those dramas that is builds up a story almost painfully slowly with lots of details. The pace varies a lot sometimes it feels like everything happens at once, other times may feel like filler episodes that packed with seemingly unnecessary details. However as the story progresses even the smallest detail is put in to place, and everything is tied together. Emotional, beautiful and worth every single moment of build up, and yes the build up is long.
It is a drama that will leave a lastning impression, with some scenes that are so powerful that no matter how many dramas you watch, afterwords they will still stay vivd in your mind .
Rewatching this drama, I noticed a lot of details that I had missed the first time, so not only do I recommend a first watch but also a rewatch.
P.S. Some of those vivd scenes came a lot earlier and others a lot later then I remembered, yet each little detain of those very memorable scenes where indeed just as I remembered them.

Evil and Gore
Well this was bloody, very bloody and kind of gross most of the time... between the gore and the blood there was also a pretty good story about oppression, control, fighting the power, putting blame where it belongs and even a hint of completely unrealistic love...Teaching us viewers once again that all ll is not fair in love and war.
There are a few slightly annoying characters but over all Id say the characters where decently portrayed, some lacked depth. There are some plot holes here and there, not as many as holes in humans bodies but Id say those of you who remember the 1990s may find yourself remind of Bruce Willis. As the leads spend more time between walls than outside in the open as well as seem harder to kill than Bruce Willis in Die hard... There was alos a slight hint of Armageddon in this making me think even more of Bruce Willis in the 1990s....
That said both me and my husband kept pushing for that next episode button and where at times kept on our toes. So a pretty decent watch, making me look forward to season 2.

True flaws yet entertaining and sweet
I am writing this review after re watching this, a rewarch that was highly enjoyable, entertaining and even though I knew what eould happen still had me pushing that next episode button as well as watching it in the passenger seat in the car just so I could watch a little bit more.Yet still I lowered the score from a 9,5 to a 9 as there are just a few too many high pitched chogia, over the top mimics and horrible elements for me to completely let them slide all things that could lower the score to a 6 or even 5 brought up by the high bingsbilsty, the combination of depth snd issues with sweet sweet romance and lovable side characters.
The older sister is deffenetly one to steel the show in her gender bender reveresed roles relationship Im Se Mi kills it and is far more interesting than the female lead.
The Secound male lead has given many SLS and is indeed a very entertaining and talanted boy to watch however the writers did him wrong with the conflict with the male lead. Making heím do and say some unforgivable things.
Our male lead is handsome, sweet and aweare of his flaws. Some say he is a green flagg, I say not really but close enough.. as he does have som communication and jellousey. All things the female lead handles pretty well but still a fun dramabiyfriend to watch and woo over but not relationship goals. At least not for my younger self.
The female lead has great dynamics with the people around her and she does have some fun moments when she lets out the tiger in her instead of running away scared. But to be honest it is hard to fully understand why both male leads fall for her, pretty or not pretty something is missing...
All in all an entertaining drama that despite all its true flaws has enough good in it to make it a 9 and that is actually pretty impressive!

Slooppy
Well this was... ehm So bad it was mediocre... The wring sloppy the acting 80%awful, like really really bad 20% decent, Smiles where all lovely, friendships adorable....I am honestly not really sure what they are trying to say as there is some kind of forgive for your own sake and guilt will kill you vibe to this but the way there is inconsistent and really, really strange. I had to go back and check if I accisdently skipped an episode to try to understand how things went from one thing to another.
There is an interesting use of sex and lust in this as pretty much only the villans get physical in a slightly agressive instead of romantic way...
That said the leads are cute, the fls acting and smile is top, top, top
An okay watch ot pass the time if you want some strange logic and drama....

It was okay....
An easy binge, with some good lines, a more or less predictable plot with an interesting take on sex, love and marriage. There is very little chemestry between the two leads, especially compared to the male lead and his friends (both of them),. I am trying to figure out if the lack of chemistry is intentional or not so this could be me not fully getting "it".The acting feels awkward in a bad way, and the cinematography is just boring...
But then again there are som pretty good lines and fun scenes in the bedroom making it an oaky watch for those in need of a filler.

Cringe, plot holes but interesting story
This is one of those dramas that had me multitasking to avoid beeing annoyed by the many moments of cringe, it is a lso a drama that may just may give you SLS.However, there are a bunch of cute cats the female lead (both old and young) is really cool and found family friendships for as far as they eye can see... Almos (only almost) makes up for it. But the Chemistry between the leads is kind of off, but I do like the cast as well as seeing people that are not so young take the lead in this. However while the agism is adressed interestlingly here there is some pretty blunt fatshaming so be were. Also most of the twist were predictable there where a few that caught me slightly off guard, not so much the person but the motiv, something that is pretty rare in ks these days.
The OST is nice, some of it reminds me of Rickey Martins - living la vida loca, but the rest is nice.
An okay watch, but nothing I would recommend

Beautiful and meeh
This is a movie that has beautiful people, beautiful people and a hint of nostalgia but not much more. As the story is a bit slow paced and sweet yet lacks that little extra something (other than the leads) to make it stick out from the many movies and dramas that tell a similar story. While it does have a little something that I personally appreciate seeing mentioned on screen, I find myself conflicted about how that special something is showen or more like ignored and only mentioned very briefly. Is it too briefly or is the little bit it is mentioned just enough to make it part of the plot that does not outshine the human behind it...Sorry for not writing what that something is, but I fear it could be a spoiler for some, if you watch this then keep an eye out for how little screen time a major part of the plot actually gets and everything I just wrote will make sence (if not feel free to ask).
I am not really sure what the message here is, and even if I did I am pretty sure it could be my nemesis healing and stuff... But all in all a beautiful watch worth it if not for anything else than for Greg Hsu and all the beautiful, talented screen time with him this movie offers.

Stil a classic but slightly more draggy than part one
Part two of the same classic, that I guess pretty much everything I wrote about in part one could easily be pasted in to. However this part is slightly more draggy, repetitive, and less entertaining than part one so I decided to rate this slightly lower than the first part. That said, I do recommend watching both parts for som context and understanding of dramaland.
That said, the risk for SLS raises in this one, and the kisses lack passion.
