The male lead does push the female against the wall once in an argument but other than that both male leads are very respectful towards her boundaries and each other. There aren't any annoying side caracters. Things not to be taken for granted in a c-drama.
As in many school C- dramas it is very pure and study oriented. The amount of time these students spend in school is very strange for me having gone to school in Sweden and Israel. The very idea of teachers confiscating mp3s and getting involved in the students social life is very strange for me but it’s interesting to learn about it.
I found myself yelling at them come on just let the kids listen to some music. I personally need music when I study. It feels like the series is trying to say that everybody is different and that students learn in different ways but at the same time it’s very strict. I did feel the story was dragged on a little to long and would rather see some more of the time after high school but otherwise it’s a nice drama.

Is there really anything after Love?
A beautiful story about love, youth, and loneliness. A romdrama in its true sense where what is not said speaks louder than what actually is said. A silence so painful it broke my heart, over and over again making me feel stuff. That said this drama also has a whole lot of fluff, there to make sure you see the difference between the joyful past and the numb present. this is also a drama that uses hair to speak to the audience, not only as a marker of time but also something that had me wondering how they could keep their hair that straight or curly for so long...
The OST is one that I will probably remember for a long time, the line: "Hold me in your eyes" in the context of the drama has such great meaning, as the mimics may try to lie but the eyes tell the story, them and of course the hair.
A highly bingebale drama thatI do recommend, and is probably more of an 8.75 than an 8.5

Thirst scenes and smiles as far as stream can reach...
"I'v wanted to lick your muscles since the first time I saw you" is pretty much what this drama has to offer... As we enter the story of the at times slightly annoying wedding planer and the groom with a wedding plan to do the planner.... Spending more time showing the audience his upper body muscles than fully clothed or talking making this an entertaining watch but ot a lot more. The story itself is okay, it is not good, not bad, it has some sweet and fun moments, a prolonged misunderstanding making most of the viewers think of the geney in Aladdin begging him to just tell the planner the truth and put him out of his misery... but also done in a very evil yet playful way.
The cast and characters are lovely, all in need of an acting lesson or 10, and while I will admit that I was entertained and found several of the cast a pleasure to watch their mimics where often wrong or felt forced focusing a lot more on making scenes where people lick each other than actually delivering dialog beyond smiles and gazes that is.
And well I guess that is the point here the story and delivery could have been a lot better if the focus was on the delivery of dialog instead of making people thirst. That said some of the dialog was actually pretty good and there where actually moments of meaning here and there...
So if you are in the mood for some sweet moments and misunderstanding with a lot of heat this is a really good choice. But if you are sensitive to bad acting or in need of any type of depth you might as well skip this watch.
P.S. Lom (Sunny) may need some acting lessons or better directing but still gets a 10 from me and th eMCD PPL is off the charts

Bad acting meeh story and a questionable agenda...
Someday good actresses will choose to star in a GL.. There will also be great writers lining up to tell amazing stories about love, friendships, and mysteries... There will be a great budget there too, great dialog and amazing kisses...Obviously not in this, this was pretty much 3 sweet moments, a mom that looked to be the same age as the girls... And a story I felt like I had seen in hetero dramas and while I did appreciate seeing a lesbian couple there where just some twists that made me wonder what are they actually trying to tell us?
And what agenda are they actually trying to convay?
Something in this just felt off, and it was not just the acting.

Great friendship, draggy unnecessary emotional porn....
This drama has allot of good parts but also ALLOT of draggy emotional lectures that seem to be there to show us how doctors should talk to their patients surrounded by all things that seem to be there so the audience will feel emotional... but instead of emotional it just made me tierd sick and brought out my less pacifistic side... It is ofcourse nice to see doctors actually doing their job in a medical drama, putting the patients and their needs first but it just gets to be to much. The way it is edited and added violins and pianos here and there is supposed to bring out the tears but just felt artificill and had the opposite affect on me. The amount of times people in the drama say thank you or apologize would make a lethal drinking game, that not a single person could survive. What the drama does well is showing allot of types of bonds and friendships between both the patients, their families and the main cast making way for both extremely slow paced romance, bromance, romance , finding comfort in a person in the same situation at the hospital, etc... The 5 friends are playful, fun to watch and just make you wish you where part of their band.
I love that they make way for the female lead to sing even though her singing is just awful, I love the way they use rain to make beautiful emotional scenes (yes some emotional scenes where done well) , i love the food and I love the camping scenery. All things that almost made up for the annoying never ending lectures.. to be honest friendship 10 stars, lectures 5 stars, romance 9 stars.... becomes 8 stars all together. But in a way I find myself wanting to say I am not mad at the creators I am just disappointed...

Confusing, Aviation comercial meets Aladdin meets Korea
I honestly do not really know how to rate this or how to review it... I find the religious/cultural/Psycopath parts confusing, very confusing and not in a good way but more of a is this okay, should I be watching this with a clear conscious, should this have been made at all? Then again I loved Aladdin as a kid.I do like the leads and their characters. I like several of the side characters.
Kim Woo Bins smile and charm is worth at least 2 extra stars, and so is the look of death on Bae Suzys face. And yes I may bit a bit bias to the two.
As far as plot and drama its not really bad or anything it does have its good moments of sweet and adorable. It does have some low humour but also some decent humour here and there but it gets to be a bit draggy and is just not enough to keep me on my toes or very interested as I find the most interesting part of the plot to be how many flights between Korea and Dubai can one fit in the course of 13 episodes? As well as long for the dessert, not so much for finding a Genie but more sun and sand is so pretty. So I guess the Emirates PPL did make its way in to my mind.
If you are a fan of the leads and the makers of this show you may find yourself questioning your choices of fandom both if you choose to watch or not watch it.
As for those who are not really fans of any of the leads Id say nee, you can find better dramas in the stream...

Sweet dreams are made of cringe
This drama has a lot to offer to the rom com lover, with a whole palette of male leads, friendships, work life blance, comics and what not. But there was just to much cringe, secound hand emberresment and bad acting/directing from the all but the male lead that I just could not rate this higher. Even though the Seos (Kang Joon and In Guk) s presence and characters could easiely be rated with a 10, they were just not enough to save this cringefest.Jisoo, Love, sorry to say this she can not cry on screen, the way they let a top singer IRL sing badly in karaoke was just mean and so were about 90% of her mimics.
Other than that it was a fun watch, just mind the bad acting, embarrassment and cringe and you will be fine.

Cheap thrills, decent pacing.
This is a decent watch, though I am not sure if the writers were lazy, wanted us to feel smart or underestimated the audience. As the twists and villains in this could be smelled a mile away. That said the pacing was decent, the chemistry fine and the music fit in really well making it an easy binge with very few annoying characters and lots and lots of poor attempts to confuse the audience with so called cliffhanger after cliffhanger... that honestly did not leave me hanging at all... Yet still got me klicking the next episode button, not so much to see what would happen next because I was confused and had a bunch of theories but rather see what happens next to confirm what I felt I already knew long ago...This is also a drama that pretty much tells the audience not to get life insurance as it may just may turn them eather to killers or murder suspects just for taking what is rightfully theres.
To be completely honest this is probably more of a 7,5, but the high bingeabillaty and entertainment value make up for most of the many flaws this drama has.

Charming Character development, basically about the sides
This is a short fun watch full of lots and lots of sweet and fun characters and one of dramalands most insightful male leads. A male lead that is there to give (probably false) hope to all the women out there who want to believe a sexsis chovenist can change his ways,.. F**k the patriarch here comes a guy who has been dumped, learend to cook for himself and finally learend to listen to others. A dream come true! That said, there are lots of good men out there who do not need to get dumped to shed the patriarchy of the past, not all men and so on...
As time went by I realised that every single character in this drama had grown on me and I found myself confused and shipping the leads with pretty much everyone else then each other, Enjoying the different turns and even hop for a second season or a spin off , as long as at least four of the characters (any four, but extras for the two female friends our male lead made) are in this I'm sure Ill enjoy the watch.
Also, there is a lot of yummy cooking in this so make sure not to watch this while you are hungry.

Sweet look on perspectives
This is a very sweet story about misunderstandings, vibes and the importance of a smile. The little things that make a big difference... Or maybe not so little you just have to go to a different universe to find all those little things that can untangle the misunderstanding and help you find those little things. So no not so little indeed. Also it gives a bunch of different perspektives and will have you ask questions about kindness, love and friendship.
Anyway, leads and sides are cute. There is lots and lots of chocolate and yummy stuff. so do not watch this while hungry.
A quick easy binge that wil cater that sweet tooth.

Sweet and innocent (ish)
This is a lovely drama about family, love, animals and society.WhatI loved abaout this s the found family teen friends all went to different schools and had a hard time at home but could find a connection and friendship in each other. Viewd by many as delinquents but actually just a bunch of decent kids. Tehy reminded me a lot of the found family friend I had in my teens so I could relate.
It also showed how finding just one grown up who cares can make an impact in a lonely teens life, done pretty okay.
While there are a lot of wonderful friendships and characters in this, I still find it kind of lacking a spark,Some parts of this drama felt kind of refreshing and it does really own up to the name found family but it was also kind of draggy at times, some of the acting felt a bit off. So I guess Im trying to say that though it has so much good in it there is still something missing. Keeping me from rating this higher

A nature cooking show
This is a story about four city boys who where taken away from civilisation and forced to bond with nature and the sun that never setts...It is a story about Lee Je Hoon's love at a late age with cooking, and his development from egg-disaster to egg master, will he decide to become a chef?
About Kwak Dong Yeon the controlling master chef who has everything planned to a tee. Will he learn to let it go and help Lee Je Hoon spred his new found love for cooking wings?
We also have are laid back artist Lee Dong Hwi, who contributes with a light skepticism and slight grumpyness in a good way.
Last but not least wh have the star of the show our very handsome playful slightly noughty Cha Eun Woo who spends most of his time charming people, animals, and nature to do as he pleases. With rolled up arms he can cook, ,he rides horses, he can chop wood... He can even stand the heat in the sauna and is a true feast for the eye and soul.
The nature in Finland is stunning with the sun and mirror blank lakes... and the culture is very simular to the one where I live... the language is different but to be honest it could have been shot in Sweden and no one would know the difference...As it looks just like Sweden during the summer (unless it rains,) Yes this is me telling the boys to come to Sweden, we have better food... I am pretty sure most people in Lapland do have running water, toilets, and electricity but hey that would not really be a challenge for the boys.
The show does get a bit repetitive after a while and feels more like a cooking show than anything else, and they get a bit too obsessed with the nature = happiness part... I am kind of impressed how they manage to get some of our most beloved Kopiko PPL... I am pretty sure they have all said those lines before in dramas. And how they can miss korean food after half a day in Finland is pretty impressive...
But all in all it is a decent watch, if not for the rest. The horse-ride sceneis at least worth an extra star

Charming but bad
I started this drama because I was in the mood for something kind of bad, but in a fun way, and yes I did kind of get what I was craving but also a whole lot of just bad. While the female lead is extremely charming, fun and interesting. Her values are just awful, she is a bit to much and the amount of second hand embarrassment she, the male lead and all their friends prodice is scary.
So values bad, acting inconsistent, twists so bad its bad...
Ring and styling- Ugglye as...
Smiles- Lovely
Kisses - decent
Side characters bad, did I mention values are bad?

A celebration och divorce and breaking loose from toxic relationships
Though I pretty much knew the plot (since I had seen the K version) it was still a very enjoyable watch that I dare say is slightly better then the K, as it has less annoying elements or moments of "oh come on".This is a drama that truley shows how difficult it can be to break loose from old habits, obsessions and the breaking free from an abusive relationship (or two) is extremely dangerous but worth the risk. And yes it is better to be alone than stuck with the wrong people.
The drama shows some really good friendships, nice shots of food, scenery and has some pretty okay lines as well as a decent romance somewhere between the evil /self-defence plotting.

Love is forgettable
I started this Opposites attract a while bak, not really sure when but when I took a break, don´t really remember why, probably something (sleep/life/not finished airing) got in the way time passed by and I started watching something else, and another something else before I noticed it on my currently watching and thought to myself... oh was I going to start this? clicked on my viki account only to see that I had already watched 10 episodes.... As I started watching the drama againI noticed my memory being jogged back to life. Its not a bad drama, its not a good drama, the actors do their jobs well, there is a plot and some type of second chances people can change message that is not bad either but it is just not enough to truly keep my attention or occupy any lasting space in my memory making this a very forgettable watch.
