OMG ZY had already killed Li Lun all those years ago, it just took him so long to realise he's dead... Does ZY still have the ever-burning wood thing in him?! Or did it get transferred to Li Lun and was enough to burn him through in that time he was released after the seal kept him alive?...

What do they mean, PSJ's brother?! Did they MAKE Bai Jiu from Pei SiHeng's blood or something?! He seems to be something special, is THAT what they used all those demons for - making a Divine Wood hybrid to use in the future?!

Yan An is SUCH a fine specimen of man, he turned my head these two eps. I don't even care he's evil - when he said he knows people always hate demons, I wanted to give him a hug and assure him not ALL people would hate him. In fact, it's the opposite, LOL. And he still managed to die quite fast AND hurt Zhu Yan yet again when he revealed what's killing him... How much more can ZY take before he breaks again?!

ALSO, who the f is that demon Wen Xiao? Did the Chongwu squad and Dr. Wen have her MADE too?!

Zhu Yan (inquisitive):Hmm?!
Zhuo YiChen (biting): Shut UP!
Zhu Yan (agreeing): Hmm...

These two have evolved to not needing words to communicate. (Also, Li Lun's FACE! Baby, stop grinding your teeth, LOL. They're an item and you're third-wheeling them).

Also the final twist: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Umm, okay, if someone has to do it, I guess I'll just volunteer. For positive karma. *wink*

Such a long goodbye to a one-time character - I guess they used it to make us remember the other charas who died before we even met them - like ZYC's family, and Wen Xiao's master, and everybody else etc. I don't care - Zhu Yan took the most care to make sure he's not guilty of anybody else dying and they chose NOT to stop him. It's on them and that's it. It's unfair to blame him for this one death - the Mountain God chose to self-destruct, himself. Nobody asked him to. (ZY's expression when he comes out of his mindless rage - the joy at first, then the heartbreak... oof. Great scene).

I am pretty sad Ying Lei won't go with them any more... because it just hit me - Bai Jiu IS a spy. He should be the one going to get Zhu Yan's core when he dies, right? Because if PSJ didn't do it... someone DID. Ying Lei would stop him if he were there, now... Who knows.

I still like ep 16 more, it's such a great blast of a long fight... so much prepared, so little left to chance by Zhu Yan and STILL they managed it LOL. I guess even being a Demon Lord doesn't grant you authority over mortals who really should know better by now. Though I did appreciate the discussion between ZYC and Zhu Yan - that's tough love right there. Maybe it'll help him a bit, if he gets another reason to live - because dammit, she is now being standoffish, why not, right? Not like he had any control over it...

This is the halfway point... I don't want this to end and at the same time I want to see what comes next. So hard...

What's with the timer, why is it 19th coming up?! what happened with 18th?

I am kind of mad at everybody in the team right now - so this guy TOLD you he can't control it, TOLD you what to do to stop him and you do not do what he told you and when things go haywire it's HIS fault?! READ THE FREAKING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DEVICE DAMMIT!

Anyway - it's not his fault, and even if it were, it's still not his fault.

And the VERY BEST and blood-curling scene isn't even anything bloody but the scene where Zhu Yan casually moves the corpses out of his way because he's too lazy to go around them... wow, that gave me goosebumps.

I think this is not where ZYC kills him, actually. They prepared before... they'd have something to make sure Zhu Yan doesn't go on rampage again... Please.

Ep 16 - sweet mother of dragons, this is the most EPIC showdown I've ever watched in a cdrama. I can't even begin to explain how good it is.

Except he doesn't ever say sorry, More like he has this long suffering look, like "well, when you're THIS hot, things have a tendency to just... happen."

LOL, so many empty or very new accounts are coming out of the woodwork trying to tell everyone how slow and boring this drama is - we GOT it, guys, you're stanning someone else or trying hard to push up other dramas - nobody cares, though :D

He's of the mindset that the youngest and oldest should get to their bed as early as possible, LOL. He doesn't realise he'll have to herd cats :D

He's kind of conflicted - first he was frowning because he was forced to work with his life and death enemy, and now he's frowning because he might have to kill someone he now loves. (As a friend. Totally as a friend,)

He did hide his hand, I think he put something over the tattoo that would come off with water and that's why he needed to change his clothes once the sleeve was wet (it would rub off on his forearm and maybe reveal the tattoo?)

But I don't think he's on it with PSJ, maybe he did go to the demon-hunting sect to look up medicines and recipes for his mother, and then he fled.

But it was obviously PSJ - she already talked with Zhen Mei once before, she's just more experienced and has a good reason for having the tattoo already.

If THOSE two were also in a strong bromance, this drama will explode our heads :D

That 14th ep predicts doom. They were TOO happy just having fun like a bunch of loons (teasing each other and laughing it up). Things are going to come down HARD.

So... if they never manage to fix the gate, it'll be broken or stay open forever? So far they're holding, but it can't last... I mean, Li Lun got another leaf-manipulated idiot to do his bidding. He won't let him help anyway :(

And what of making Zhu Yan LOVE life again and THEN still have to die?! FIND A WAY, drama!

The way ZY said "you have to live well" and then ZYC replied "I won't ever die as long as you're still alive" sounded almost like they were making oaths of forever love... and then it's just because ZYC HAS to kill ZY... :(

Okay this drama is my (almost) happy place. Did you see that scene when Wen Xiao and Zhu Yan are talking about life - that sent me all the way back to the snow scene in TU, with WWX reminiscing his life and settling for the now, and LWJ just being with him in the moment. I liked that scene. I like snow too. And I hate that ZY keeps being sad whenever there's talk of the future - he KNOWS he has to die :(

PS Wen Xiao called ZYC a dreamboat. LOL. That he is :D
