Thank you for commenting, hurt-feefees kiddo, and showing me who to use the block button on (for an example), kthxbye.

Title Destined
Two more days...

The only good thing about this longest break is that now I get to finish NLB (because ShangGuan Jing and Yin Qi are saving it for me, and because Hao Jia dressed as a man is the ONLY believable girl crossdressing in the history of crossdressing girls in Chinese costume drama. And she's still cute - actually she's cuter as a boy than as a girl LOL. I hope she marries the new cook :D)

And then maybe some other back-logged cdramas, because they've been piling LOL.

I stopped at 66.That's enough excitement for meIf I read any further my thoughts would probably get jumbled up…
I just spoiled myself only to the last chapter, LOL, and I have a very non-detailed view of what goes on, but it's enough for me to make the wait easier :D

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
there was a scene about her previous life where she died as a kid and was reborn as a boy after being born she…
I imagine it went like this. After the first reincarnation rejection by original mother, she (or he) might've tried it a few more times because those were a lot of lives. And might have been rejected each and every time.

And now she found the mother she felt was the best family ever, and can't tell her she's back - because WHAT IF she's rejected again? At least, by not telling her, she can still dream (as she did in ep3) that the mother would be overjoyed to see her return. But WHAT IF she isn't?

I can totally understand that someone who was burned badly a few times won't place their hand in the fire yet again.

And now you get to think about who the driver of the Truck of Doom was, and how is that related to the leash Mr. Chairman (SeoHa's dad) has on DoYoon. And then it won't be too convoluted to add that plot twist.

There are some people crusading so hard against this drama in this section - relentlessly so, since it's beginning, it's pretty obvious they enjoy the trolling. They don't want to listen to any arguments, their so-called "opinions" are fixed, they just want to go to war and burn down anything positive anyone else has to say about this story.

TBH, I find it childish and maybe a bit worrying - as in, do you people (the new secondary or tertiary accounts, the ones who aren't newly created accounts used to upvote your own comments, and the ones who watched all 4 eps released so far yet still pretend they're too creeped out to continue... but still won't drop it), actually have anything rational to say about this or are you doing it irrationally, like an obsession? Everybody who read your comments got it - you're pretty much projecting modern real-life fears into a fantasy story where the biggest difference from all other like it is that the protagonist is female, not male. And that's about it.

As they say - get a life.

Though, TBH... I am not really interested if you actually do. Do your own thing. It's just that it's seriously disrespecting of everyone who is genuine about anything they're commenting on a drama they're watching when some OBVIOUS just-created sock puppet accounts keep coming back with the same old, same old irrational arguments. Grow up already. Dropping a drama is a choice too - or you can not drop it, but maybe leave off with the tired old pretend excuses as to why this drama sucks? Okay, it sucks for you. It's clear if you mention it once. Making new accounts to say it again is pretty deranged, IMHO.

And that's all I've had to say about this. Do with it whatever you want.

PS And if it happens you get "offended" by my tone, this is exactly what all your comments sound like so it shouldn't be anything unexpected since you like using it yourselves.

She's just saying they were fathered by the same person (since the same last name in the family registry) while also clearly not recognising him as a true brother, because this life's family sucks big time. It sounds funny because it's meant to be funny, but also a bit sad...

Because the girl needs to be the brain and the beauty, and the boys need to be the courage and the brawn.

Title Numbers
looks like we'll have it.
If we're lucky someone kills the love interest to give HoWoo even MORE motivation to bring the whole house down. There's not a lot of eps to develop an actual love story, though, unless maybe it's between JiSoo and SeungJo, and I wouldn't count on that happening, either.

Title Numbers Spoiler
would you recommend this to someone who spaces out when math or finance is involved, lol?
They provide explanations to accounting things and it's enough to follow the story. It's not too techy. The plot is revenge and hopefully some bromance. Or at least that's what I'm taking from the first 2 eps.

I do well with math and details, but accounting is an alien language for me too. The drama makes it not matter that much.

Title Revenant Spoiler
This is good. Though involving people as murderers is a diversion… Hope the ghost is as powerful as the guest.
The swindler got SanYoung's fingerprints all over his apartment and even around his neck. The police didn't arrest her only because there was video evidence she was nowhere near the place or the body before he "hanged" himself. With the grandma, there was a witness trying to save the victim, and she had been in the house before so there would have been some circumstances to excuse her fingerprints if any found.

I'd say that if the spirit kills someone outside the areas surveilled by cameras, and there are fingerprints again, SanYoung could be in much trouble.

Revenant is great (coming from someone who DOESN'T like horror, so mark it up a bit LOL), and Numbers also seems to be good enough (not on Revenant levels, but at least it does seem to have some plot). So there is something to watch this summer, and a few titles are already actively promoting, like Uncanny Counter 2 in a few days, etc.

At least there's enough of a selection these next few months, this spring was almost totally empty in kdramaland :(

Title King the Land Spoiler
I've watched episode 1 and got halfway through episode 2 bcs of LJH and idk if I want to continue.... would any…
It doesn't get better. I like LJH but this is one of the lighter dramas he's been involved in, and in no way showcases his acting ability (actually, no one's acting ability). It's like a massive PPL add-full bland drama used only to show glamour and scenic decor, but there's nothing there to catch on and hope it carries the drama to its end.

There are hundreds of people here - and probably everywhere there's talk about kdrama - gushing about chemistry (they have none together, IMHO, though they are spectacular separately, LJH in particular), the clichees that used to be the norm 15 years back (I mean they ARE indeed so old and they were never that great even in their time) and how fluff rom-com is basically stupid rom-com and there's no place in it for such extravagancies as plot or good dialogues.

I guess IF you watched it in higher speed (I've taken to giving it 2x faster just to get through ep3) it's bearable. It's forgettable, badly scripted and other than LJH's starring in it, there's basically nothing in its favour - again, this coming from someone interested in watching LJH in some new drama. Yoona never really impressed me in the two dramas I've seen her in before this one, and she doesn't impress me in this one either.

So my suggestion is - if you have nothing better to do, speed it up and try it like that. It might be easier to go through it. If you can't, or have better dramas to watch right now, it's skippable, IMHO.

This is 100% improved when watching in 2x speed. I wish there was some higher speeds, but the TL would probably be unreadable. Still. It looks better and just the BGM gets f'ed up. I am still calling it a win.

The girl in the rickshaw seemed to look a lot like this new chara, HanNa, and it's implied the one pulling it was a past life of JiEum's (because she now still knows how to pull the contraption).

But since JiEum doesn't look like her past selves anywhere in her lives, so far... I wonder who was that girl in the end.

Would there be some who not only reincarnate, but get to keep their gender AND their memories? Or would there be actual, proper immortals?! Curiouser and curiouser...

I guessed the same. It's dangerous.... No idea why she's born with this fate
No, she's HanNa, the girl leading the dancing girls in that club. And she's somehow related to the mysterious boy passing by JiEum at one point.

Title See You in My 19th Life Spoiler
So is that mysterious boy someone who also remembers their past lives, or is he someone hunting down people who…
The dad is definitely a psycho. What the hell does he hold over DoYoon's head? He's acting like HDY is just a robot and shouldn't even breathe wrong in his presence. Don't tell me... it was the FATHER who arranged for SeoHa's accident?! O.o

JiEum's current dad is also a bastard. And I don't remember any brother being mentioned before she found her ex-niece. Is this a much younger brother or someone the dad got with some other woman sometime?

I want ChoWon to find out the first, can we have that? She's so cute and understanding, and basically identical to JiEum, LOL, they both proposed a night out or few to their crushes ASAP, no hesitation involved. These two will make an indomitable team :D

The cutest thing in ep 4 though was SeoHa going straight to HDY's home just because he's confused and wants someone to set him right LOL. That's such a BFF thing to do :D
