Series of cases or just one case. Also, do i need to watch season one to understand the second season?
One overarching case, other cases related to the overarching one.
The seasons are separated, but the MCs (the police team, and not just the two leads) are the same, and initial team dynamics and establishment of friendship and trust happened in the first season and now they're already settled. S1 delved a lot more on the MLs psychological problems and got a lot more personal for both of them.
So it's like that. I already thought she was crazy, now it's confirmed.
I wonder if TaeHo found some proof it was her all along and offered to take the fall for her, because he loved her, but she didn't trust him so she killed him.
She's an actual psycho - manipulated the evidence so far that even her own brother, who DID ask for HeeJoo to be killed, doesn't know now if she was killed because of his order, or because NaNa manipulated them all in order to get it done.
So if she got jealous or offended, she killed HeeJoo and then killed TaeHo too. Next week's preview looks like grandpa is in danger, and EunHye is always around him, I hope she doesn't get pulled into it too.
But the endgame will probably be OJH... He KNOWS she killed or fabricated the accident that killed TaeHo and won't forget about it so easily, and she knows his weakness. He'll be her final prey... :(
PS DongWook's brother is an idiot, I hope he doesn't come again. Send him away on a fishing boat, show, so that he can be redeemed and stop hurting his brother with his stupidity! DongWook, here's a hug!
I'll definitely be watching, because sci-fi and Joo Ji Hoon. Though we're already way past the beginning of the second half of 2022 LOL, maybe they meant the last quarter of the year :D
Also, I'll make a bet - SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE! :D
I have read mdzs several times and in different languages. And to me, I have to tell first, there is no gore in…
TBH, I have a pretty low threshold for horror gore and I freely admit it. It doesn't have to be anything bloody - a maggot-infested cadaver will do. Even in police stories. Eeck.
And anything zombies (which fierce corpses and ghouls definitely are similar to) also is a bit too much for me. I liked it that they mostly changed it to dark energy and avenging spirits in the drama.
But that aside, anything horror involving children (dead children especially) is a bit over the top for me. I kind of tried not to pay attention to that chapter in MDZS and I am glad they changed it for the drama, but it's still eeck for me anytime I think of it.

>there is no gore in the novel
The creepiest moment in the novel, for me, is the child corpse eating off Wen Chao's body one tiny bit at a time, which is why he's so afraid of the flute sound. I know why they did the change in the drama, and TBH I like the bride ghost quite a lot - she's evilly cute - but eww.
And then there's Nie MingJue's headless corpse piecing itself together throughout the story, too... Gore doesn't have to be bloody wars.
i get this feeling that not many people are watching this drama. Its so good, i wish it had a higher ranking.…
Ji Sung is one of the best actors I've ever watched. When this one is finished, give a chance to The Devil Judge, the adrenaline rush of that one is epic. And if you want to see him doing multiple roles... Kill Me Heal Me has you covered, long live Perry Park :D
I had completely forgotten about the implants LOL. Ok, this has me waiting for the next episode, again. I like…
I absolutely LOVE how WooShin always gets afraid. I mean, it's the character, obviously, but he's so certain of himself when analyzing others, and then he is placed in danger and he keeps standing strong while being obviously afraid. I love that nuance. WooShin is the best twin.
On the other hand... I also absolutely loved how frantic SooHyun became as time went by and no text came from WooShin. SSH is the almost-best twin, LOL. If he would stop being so hasty and take a bit to calculate probabilities, like WooShin does, they'd take down anybody and everything together.
Poor TaeSung, I bet he thinks he killed Mr Lee (psycho ex-Team A leader). And then the police / SIH counterpart got suicided WITH HIS WHOLE FAMILY WTF!!!!! no wonder TaeSung cracked. I hope when Mr Kwon survives, he's disabled or has brain damage so severe he can't speak, move or otherwise do anything but breathe and suffer.
Mrs Kwon on the other hand was a surprise - she's not ready to go down yet. I want to see her working with HWS, they got along (as actors) like a house on fire.
LCW is a bastard, always has been. I bet he never tells them where the freaking Adamas is. His interests lie own skin first, no matter what he tells to the twins.
I don't want this to end now it's moving so well :D.
She doesn't want her father's attention or approval, she wants to bring her father, her brother AND the company…
She killed the only man she had on her side, body and soul. She could do anything.
She couldn't bring down her father yet (he's in prison, but he didn't know about HeeJoo's death and how his son is involved in it). Maybe she needs to humiliate him too, I don't know. There's time to find out :)
Na Na is no better than her brother. Both sulky rich kids wanting daddy's attention and approval.
She doesn't want her father's attention or approval, she wants to bring her father, her brother AND the company down because 1. she's psychotic, 2. she knows father/brother killed or are directly responsible for her mother's death and 3. she confessed to TaeHo (before killing him too) that she was afraid she would be killed BY them too, just like her mother, for not conforming to whatever expectations they'd have from her.
Why she killed TaeHo? Maybe it was an arranged marriage on her side (he said he loved her) and she despised him for it all the time. And maybe he learned something about her and her involvement in HeeJoo's death that he couldn't (finally) stomach. We'll see.
And why is she doing the cat and mouse play with OJH? First she tries to seduce him (through bribery) to her side, then she discovers he's an actual bulldog and goes directly to his killer cousin to get info on how to play him, THEN she decides he wants him to take down her brother for the killing of HeeJoo. Make up your mind, lady!
I fear she'll literally be the death of him.
Dong Wook and his brother broke my heart this ep. I mean, he's a detective, having to carry his brother's burden all his life wouldn't be easy. What's wrong with his brother?! Dammit.
And I loved the way everybody had fun blackening OJH, and he spent his own money to make it blow up an become bigger and bigger, LOL.
Was DoChang spoiling the plot of Extreme Job to grandpa? LOL.
I didn't know Ji Sung ever did theater, shows how much I know, and he definitely doesn't look like he has any medical problems... Wow.
I've already watched Lee Do Yup in a lot of support roles in kdrama (that I don't actually remember, because they were so small, probably) but I think he would shine if given half a chance. But maybe that's just it - if he does theater, he wouldn't have all that much time to invest into filming a longer role in dramas... Still, like you already said, - they were totally in the zone immediately. I love that kind of spark and would love to see it more. Here's hoping.
