Also, OTT platform, Google tells me, is a over-the-top platform which means it delivers content directly to its users through streaming, with major examples Netflix and Hulu. I guess this will end up either on Netflix, or one of the other streaming platforms. Every day you learn something new, LOL.

I'm still waiting for proper subs for Hunter, that too is a great drama! But I won't hold my breath waiting for a fansub TL of this one either, this is more of a coming-of-age/family drama, fansubbers tend to pick up bigger names.

If it came to Youtube or another platform, there would still be hope, but if it remains with Mango only... it would be too bad.

So don't forget about it, it's worth it :D

I have cats and I talk to them. Pretty certain they don't give a damn unless it's about food and they can see it in front of them.

What I'm saying is not that pet owners do not speak to their pets, or not love them, or are loved in turn. But all the Reapers were spilling their lives' experience to explain to a dog that his owner would also suffer from the dog's passing, as if the dog was human-like intelligent. Which according to all science and sundry... just doesn't happen (they're definitely intelligent, just not up to that level). I am all for fantasy stories and ready to bend the rules, but for me it definitely broke the immersion, because they took it too seriously (and by them, I mean the production team - the writer, the director, etc, not the actors, they did amazingly, all things considered.)

But of course, all watchers' personal experiences may vary on this and I hope that is okay with everyone.

I loved the whole family reunion and I'll have whatever that PPL food is called. Two helpings please. (Also I really hate melt cheese.)

There are some sequences here and there that seem used to keep more glue between the main cast and the rarely appearing characters, so that we don't forget they exist - like the early morning run with the best-fighter-to-be, as if the director doesn't trust the audience to remember each and every stray puppy KHW ever brought home LOL. Trust us, PD-nim! We remember most of them.

I guess that means lots of time in-between that happened in the manhwa is danced over, but IMHO they should just go with the flow and make the best drama they can given the source, not try to be as faithful as possible. Maybe in SK there are fans who read the story and are claiming for more parts that are in it and weren't initially included in the drama plot... or maybe the editing skipped a beat here and there... I don't know.

I thought Mrs Han (ex-Bad-Shinigami-No-Cookie-Girl-in-Red) told KHW to lie down with dogs even if he gets up with fleas, in order to bring the whole pack down... He's not making any progress in that direction. Was he meant to? I like his direct, no-nonsense approach better. I hope he doesn't get gray-fied just so that he can better destroy CTS' web.

Also, CTS really can play the long game, wow. A villain with a long-term plan, and some actual smarts, finally. Let's see how all this develops!

(I'm hoping KHW trusts MinSoo and brings him on, or at least works with him to help him solve his cases and do his part of bettering the world!)

All I want to say it's that today is April 30th, we're due another part of the soundtrack and it better be the really great boom song. OR ELSE.

KHW really has a blind spot whenever MinSoo is involved. Where was MinSoo back in his first life? Why did he never get into KHW's orbit?...

... they were having such soul-baring speeches and the dog was just looking at them. I couldn't help but start wondering what went through their minds (all of the cast) having to talk sadly and concerned and soulful at a good doggie who couldn't care less.

That's why it's called acting.

I expected more of an impactful episode but overall... there were better ones.

Here's hoping they return to the stories of the MCs and that they're worth waiting for.

I really wanted to take this ep seriously but...

Impressions so far (ep 2):

Music Composer: So how dark and epic would you want the music to be?
Director: Yes.

Also, I have this inkling that WenJie is going to out-swindle everyone, police included, and ride off into the sunset with the whole wealth of China by the end of the series, because of reasons. He just has that Light Yagami vibe LOL.

First off, it's not BL so get your mind off the gutter. I know I had to, LOL.

Second, it's a sweet found-family story on more than one plotlines, and the boys are BEAUTIFUL together. So are the girls, and so are the boys AND the girls together. And the adults in this story, Maybe not the mom, but I can see where she comes from, somewhat.

Third, nobody's an a**hole in this story. Not even the school dropout. I just like everybody. I'm so glad I stuck with it, though it took a long time because subs. I loved loved loved each and everyone of them. Even the dog. Though I still couldn't make out if it was a girl-dog and she had the puppies, or it was a boy-dog and he made the puppies exist. (Gao Yang didn't want any of them anyway LOL).

Fourth, seriously, if there's a fansub group out there thinking what to TL next... this one! Pick this one! The ratings on MDL probably show how impossible the subs are, not the quality of the story.

And lastly, I'll probably be looking for these actors in their future dramas :D

MangoTV, WTH are you doing?! And I mean that, WTH are you doing?

This is SUCH a cute, and sweet and heart-touching story that is buried so so deep under atroucious MTL subs it's not even funny. I thought Hunter/Wolf Hunter was the worst it could get, but this one manages to take it a bit further LOL. I got SO good at reading between the lines and trying to make sense of crazy town subs TM, but I made it! I've watched it all through and it was worth it!

I really hope some TL fansub appears somewhere, because heartwarming stories are few and far between and this shouldn't be almost completely unavailable to int'l watchers... Here's hoping!

IIRC they were in the same introductory course when they met Min Soo (and not just for one time), right? She could've changed majors if that's possible, or just wouldn't go into law practice after finishing it. I have no idea. I also think she mentioned something like KHW having been offered a post in their firm's legal dept. that he had refused, so maybe she's that type of lawyer..

They are all surnamed Kim.

Han Mi is the reporter and unofficial (bastard sounds a bit off...) daughter of the Chief Prosecutor Kim Seok Hoon.

Kyu Ri is now a prosecutor. She was supposed to fail getting into law school in KHW's first life, and he prevented that.

Hee Ah is the chaebol daughter. She too was in law school, but now seems to be more involved in her father and brother's companies. She's the "official" FL but IMHO, it's Han Mi who has the best chemistry with KHW and I hope if there's any kind of romance, it'll be between the two of them.

I'm sorry, LOL. I'm a fan of JCW, though I'm not always wow-ed by his pick of dramas... but the trailer still looks a bit too-inspired from TGS. I really, really hope there's no paralel of any kind between that movie and this drama's story.

Also, is it going to be a real musical drama, or just bits and pieces (like they do in Bollywood, for example, LOL)?

Well, I was there for the bromance and for Woo Do Hwan. I'm a fan, can't help it. But everything else is almost forgettable (and I would completely forget it if it wasn't so bad, LOL.)

Yup, the only good thing about TKEM was Woo Do Hwan and no one can convince me otherwise LOL. Though it did start in an epic manner. I had hopes, though LMH's dramas have burned me before... oh well.

About AML, we'll have to wait and see :D

Actually, I was just thinking his cheat will stop working in a catastrophic way any... second... now.

I mean, he set up so many new threads of life that didn't happen before, and stopped others from developing. Dr. Malcolm will very easily show you how the chaos theory says that ANY little change, no matter how unimportant in the story of things, will cause MASSIVE changes down the road.

It's been already 7 years. His parents didn't die, he did go to law school in his first try, KKR also never collapsed and ended up a prosecutor, PSM is now living as he wants, CTS's son is dead and his plans foiled in relation to the real estate and the old man, and then some of the politics has also changed.

Things SHOULDN'T keep happening the same everywhere else. It's mathematically impossible. So I'm expecting something, ANYthing, to fail spectacularly.

Then again, I never read the manhwa and I have no idea how maths-inclined the author ever was. They could as well just ignore chaos theory altogether and just make up whatever rules they wanted. After all, there's a Shinigami in there too, so it's not supposed to be sci-fi but fantasy, so everything goes LOL.

PS The very BEST thing to explain (or actually show) how chaos theory would work when you change the past is the anime Steins:Gate. Okabe makes such a mare's nest of things just TRYING to put Humpty-Dumpty back together, it becomes tragic. I love that anime.
