I just finished a novel where eventually there's a tournament, and one of the MLs just keeps winning but not making any waves (they have a popularity contest in parallel, LOL). By the time he makes it to the quarter finals, they realise why he's not making any waves - he's the fastest winner of any fight, and nobody has time to notice any moves or manoeuvres. He wins in one or two moves each time.

Maybe that's why we don't get to see Xie Zheng fight, LOL. He's in Mahayana somehow while all the rest are just at Qi Gathering stage hahaha~

Like seriously you guys are a hydra, no less. First the waves of "hey, news! it's all out" then the offended excuses - "I'm paying for it anyway, what's up if I want to comment on how it ends before you all get to see the rest of eps, I don't have money so I don't want to pay, this [insert illegal streaming site] is posted all over anyway, I'm not using a spoiler button because I can't be bothered to use it" and so on and so forth. You explain one thing to one or ten, a few moments later another horde comes asking or saying the same thing.

WE GOT IT. You all found a shortcut and took it. Please stop spoiling the future eps. Please stop announcing you found the complete leaked eps. Please use spoilers FGS, it's not that hard. Please be civil. It really is not that hard.

I know I've got a block button, but the blocks are numbered and the folks I've blocked before deserved it a lot more than a few enthusiastic pirates who take everyone else for a pirate. We KNOW it's leaked, thank you very much, and we CHOOSE not to watch the leaks.

TBH, the only thing that WOULD keep me watching the drama would be to see if his brother gets a romance with the girl all the grannies in the village like. That one at least looks cute, even if tropey.

But I'm not in the mood for like 5 minutes every depressive and turtle-slow episode. Wishing you all luck!

I really really tried. Even in 2x, the episode couldn't go by slower. I even took two long pauses to do other things. Could barely finish 5th (because I forced myself to).

They used to say the rules came because it took so much to produce the dramas, sometimes (when they were really successful, or supposed to be) they would prolong them for no reason, and so on and so forth.

The downside of the rules is that when the drama really needs time to get where it's going - the time isn't there.

The re-editing to pass censorship certainly plays a huge role, too.

The one thing that I REALLY liked was the way Qi Min called himself "Gu". I've only read it in a novel (the ML liked talking about himself in 3rd person, it was cute), and the way he said it - well, Qi Min... I liked that!

I do NOT like the way she's wishy-washy and never much in the same frame with the ML. So yeah, he's a Marquis, get over it. He still loves you. Stop it with the idiot pretenses and noble sacrifices - he doesn't care. So get back and plot things together before SML drops the ball on you.

Poor Xie Wu and his broken shoulder... *there, there*

Is Sui-the-Younger stupid too, or what?! I mean, I've seen better tries at pointing a dog at something and saying "go get it boy" but here it's like his mind only works one way. He didn't even NEED proof his brother isn't his brother. Convenient as heck.

The one BETTER thing than Qi Min calling himself Gu was Xie Zheng going "I put him on that throne and I can throw him down if I like". That's the world of the rich and powerful. That's their mindset. I thought he was going to declare he's rebelling too, but I guess he doesn't need it. Yet.

Patiently waiting now. I hope ChangYu gets smarter from now on and that Xie Zheng kills somebody in a whole-ass fight. Eventually.

The Pig Butcher Squad were hilarious, as usual. Mr. Jin is the bomb!

After 32nd...

The rule about how many episodes a drama can have causes it.

Then the rule about how far apart separate seasons can be causes it.

I really hope they reverse both of them - most novels they adapt are VERY long, and there's basically not enough time to give the plot and characters space to breathe.

Then don't watch it for the FL, watch it for the ML - Xu Kai is at his cutest.

And seriously, they have a Chen XueRan OST - it's worth it if only for that. Though it's way more than that, LOL.

Compensation. I'm all for compensation LOL.

The ending to TTEOTM isn't all that bad, considering. To me, it's kind of hopeful.

Anyway - if you want something a bit like PoJ that's definitely HEA (and quite a long HEA, maybe the longest HEA in a costume drama I've ever watched LOL), maybe consider Wonderland of Love. It's a bit similar - they're both soldiers/generals, there are a lot of twists and turns, amazing OST, nice support cast that you're going to miss, veeeery long and happy ending.

That's why I also hope it won't happen. I mean, I love LYX and CFY too, and while this is one of my favourite novels... oh well, it wasn't meant to be. Not to mention that they might have censored it beyond all recognition, and instead of a lukewarm thing thrown out together for the money, I'd rather not have it at all.

And after this mess-up (and the previous ones), I rather think Tencent and all the other platforms will slam the door as closed as possible on any possible leaks for their past and future dramas.

I don't know how long MDL has been around or how well-populated. I mean, NiF only has at most 2k comments, and it's one of the best cdramas ever made.

I only got here after accidentally stumbling upon The Untamed and then just checking out what I had already watched took a long while LOL. And I myself didn't leave comments on most dramas I had already finished. I guess most people were the same.

I'm NOT even into pain (unless for a short while) but it was impossible to break away. I mean. LYX, Bai Lu, the support cast (still checking up on a lot of them), that OST!!!

Yup. One of the best pain-ladden dramas.

The difference being that IF someone would leak 2ha, it would be because there will NEVER EVER be an official release that we could all watch and enjoy legally.

Like they did with The Spirealm, who, IIRC, never aired in the mainland, or the one based on Priest's Mo Du that only aired in Japan officially ( I don't remember the drama's title, I didn't watch it since I don't like Priest's novels mostly, LOL... though I do buy them - they're not freaking cheap at all! - just to encourage SSE to license and publish as many danmei novels as possible).

PoJ is legally available, leaking it is a freaking crime and serves ZERO purpose - it's not even in its first eps, those who did it wouldn't have much to gain from it.

2ha though... We'll just have to imagine how perfect LYX would be as Chu WanNing and CFY as MoRan... Dammit.

Myself... it's the first part I like the best LOL. I must like depressing backgrounds for the characters hahaha~

I remember the part about the teen sister about to become a courtesan, thanks for reminding me! And I do remember she lost a leg after being hurt in the Lin'an raid. I thought she was at home and depending on him only, I'd forgotten that mention of a brothel - and TBH I didn't pay a lot of attention to the Pig Butcher Squad when they were in Lin'an, I thought they were support charas to be later discarded, my mistake.

Oh well. I hope the grandson doesn't become obnoxious.

Hey!! What if he goes back to Lin'an and marries her? :D Just as a gesture for taking Mandi's role in the drama, LOL.
