Germany did not announce distribution. That is one theatre in one German city, it's not related to the worldwide distribution that was talked about.

There is no announcement for New Zealand, it's a leak that even states it can be changed.

Just please wait for an official announcement of the actual worldwide distribution that hasn't happened yet.

This drama wrapped in June of 2024. Considering post-production is often anywhere from 8-12 months and this drama has some CGI, that it's not ready in January 2025, seven months later, is to be expected.

There are no solid information currently about when it will show up worldwide. There are some hints for February but nothing certain. I will post as soon as we hear anything.

Pre-sales have started today and by midnight, China time, the movie has broken the historical record with 80 million yuan.

It has also broken records for fastest achieved 10, 20 ... 80 million. The next milestone will be the 100 million. Overall there are some snags but it is going great.

It's a fictional dynasty to avoid any possibility of trouble with the censors but a lot is inspired by Ming.

You cannot unfortunately. It's only being released in China right now. It will be released in the States and worldwide later on though (they have announced it), if you keep an eye here someone will definitely post as soon as we know.

Xiao Zhan has been seen meeting the assistant director and some of the crew so maybe they are doing some prep for the drama broadcast. It's good to know things are moving.

Probably a bit more than in Nirvana in Fire. According to some info we have, the FL does have her own storyline too, apart from the romance side. But it is mostly a male centric drama, like JOL.

What they did is they took the character of Wang Zanghai and then built an original story around him. So there are some elements that were kept, like the tomb building but overall it's now a new character called just Zanghai, seeking revenge for the murder of his parents and some other things. You can treat it as separate.

We are all hoping, just don't expect it. That way lies less disappointment!
