I though i am the only one that hasn't attracted so much to this drama, i couldn't progress with episode 2. Would…
I would so much rather be watching ‘Being a Hero’ it looks so good and the plot sounds so much better than this generic wuxia >< and I think that Yibos character in being a hero sounds so much more thought out and well rounded, he sounds like a deep character with a great backstory and awesome motivations. Honestly I don’t mind waiting until sites like dramacool or kiss Asian upload it, if there’s no legal option for me to watch it where I live I don’t mind using those sites to see a show I can support in other ways instead of views.
I haven't watched last episode, but I've observed that it seems to be an Asian workplace culture thing that you…
Yeah ikr, I didn’t know anything about it either until I started getting into K dramas and BLs, it’s such a constant plot in them that it got me interested. Like I almost couldn’t believe that this kind of stuff could actually be happening in these 1st world countries. But boy was I wrong >< it’s seriously disgusting some of the things that rich CEOs and heirs and heiresses have done to their employees just because they did not run to fulfill or anticipate their smallest whims. It’s such backward behaviour...
I’m on the latest episode now, and it’s getting a little better but it’s still hard for me to get through the episodes tbh. I’m constantly skipping the fight scenes >< their just done quite badly, they don’t look badass (like I kind of expect fight scenes in c dramas to be so badass I’m blinded by them) the green screens are almost getting worse and they didn’t start out great either. The plot is the only thing that’s keeping me interested tbh. I like this kind of slow burn, I don’t need 20 different dramatic things to happen each episode.
I will say, I feel a little bad for Yibo, for this to be his first drama after Untamed is disappointing. And I don’t mean because he’s paired with a female, the production quality on the untamed was just so much higher, you couldn’t even compare the two shows fairly because one is just so obviously better.
If you seriously think that anyone besides yourself, has the time to make fake accounts just to put a show down as ‘someone else’, then I too am embarrassed for your behaviour but also for your family. I cannot imagine how vapid and idiotic you must be irl.
Paid anti fans?? I can’t even begin to convey how hilarious that is. To actually believe that someone out there is paying anyone to leave hate comments on mydramalist. What exactly do you think this website is? This website has literally nothing to do with the shows actual ratings or how popular it is. It’s just a bunch of fans rating shows & movies amongst themselves.
This isn’t fucking IMBD or Rotten Tomatoes.
Get over yourself. You are not the smartest person here, you are so far from it it’s sad. Also, your insistence on being right and refusing to admit that any part of your ‘theory’ may be far fetched and seriously delusional is so CRINGE!!, every time I see your user I just shudder.

Guys, you can just google this kind of stuff instead of relying on dramatised shows for your information. Workplace violence and bullying of employees by superiors and CEOs is common in places like Korea, Japan and China, but it definitely isn’t the norm. They are working at stopping this kind of behaviour, but it is hard since these people usually have a lot of money and connections to fall back on.
"Type and Tharn have a little fight about something irrelevant, they make up 5 minutes later because one of them…
Yeah I was super confused by the Bosses lackey acting like that too, it made little sense visually and then he reveals the picture and it just feels like he’s hating on lgbtq+ because he wants to be in the bosses good graces? But I know what you mean where I live behaviour like that is not accepted anywhere and especially in a work place. Like you would pretty much be fired by HR immediately. But apart from that showing this kind of behaviour in shows just for drama purposes makes me really not like the writers.
And the whole idea that Type NEEDS to be rescued by someone with more power, which your right they are definitely alluding to, is even worse imo. Type is the kind of character that should be perfectly able to rescue himself, yet we see him being rescued by others all the time and it just makes his personality feel not very well thought out.
I LOVE friendzone I still think it’s one of the best Thai dramas ever made. It actually portrays real relationships which is a rarity in the genre.

Omg yesss your right actually, the first episode or two was exciting, I especially liked the part where Type is talking to No on the phone, and No is complaining about girls looking at his man. Like I was so excited that they were acknowledging the fact that No should be dating Kla at this point in the story. Little things like that were really fun to see!
And then... it just devolves into Tharn sulking and Type going psycho over the most trivial things ><
Even the last episode where Type punches his boss, was just underwhelming. It’s meant to be the big drama, but honestly it was just so overdone to the point that to me it was funny rather than shocking.
But, at the very least, something actually HAPPENED in the episode XD
Is it just me that’s disappointed with this season? If I hear Tharn say that Type doesn’t want to tell anyone they’re dating one more time, just because he doesn’t want ppl at work to know, but literally everybody else that actually matter knows, and Type tells random ppl that their dating all the fucking time...
But the writers have to put in some kind of drama don’t they? Even if it doesn’t actually hold up as a real problem in any way.
This whole season is summed up in like two or three plot points.
Type and Tharn have a little fight about something irrelevant, they make up 5 minutes later because one of them does a romantic gesture and they make out for the fans, then fuck off camera.
And, that’s the whole show so far.
Oh I forgot, throw in Types boss repeating the same thing every episode, and Fiat just kind of being there and not doing much.
I’m just here for Champ and the Doc tbh. Their storyline is kinda boring, but I find them too cute too look away.
lol.. is that a secret..i have zero idea abt this whole show, came in after watching ep 3.. and guess what.. there…
Who mentioned anything about BL? Do you all just comment random shit without actually understanding what I meant? XD I can’t... of course it’s obvious who the main lead, it’s obvious in every single show and movie ever... But in this show, Xie Yun also has another identity as in his real identity... which is not obvious at all. Unless you think it is? And if you do, go on tell me
Who tf put Xie Yuns actual identity in the cast list? Why tf would you do that? I know this drama isn’t great, and I would much rather be watching Yibo in Being a Hero ( I’m not a huge fan of historical dramas and we all know Untamed was only great because it had one of the biggest bl novels ever backing it ) but since there’s only variety shows with him in it airing I’m reduced to watching this and I would at least like to be able to comment here without getting a plot line spoiled by the fucking cast list...
At the crossing? He’s in it like right from the start of that first episode XD unless you weren’t paying attention…
XD I feel that I didn’t know Keita was in the show either so when I recognised him in that first scene, it was just, beautiful. Except for that chick that was stuck to him
I’m really into the production and cinematography of this. I mean I know it’s Netflix so of course the production values are gunna have a more western feel to them, but I think it works really well for this story in a way it kind of wouldn’t work for a lot of other manga/anime And, aren’t we all just dead af ecstatic that this wasn’t a western remake? I guess Netflix learned from their previous disasters... cough coughdeathnotecough cough...
I stumbled across this series in Nextflix by accident... Then at the Shibuya crossing, I saw a familiar face,…
At the crossing? He’s in it like right from the start of that first episode XD unless you weren’t paying attention XD but yeah I wasn’t into that scene where he’s making out with that girl, like he’ll pretty much just be Kurosawa forever for me from now on
I just deleted a huge comment XD I read through it and it was kind of all over the place, and I really don’t want to deter anyone from watching this show actually because it is imo one of the like top 3 Thai bl dramas. The plot, the production but most importantly the acting. It never felt awkward like a lot of other bls do, and like 80% of the time characters reacted and behaved the way actual humans would behave. So yeah, watch it. If you don’t like it you don’t, but definitely actually watch it before making up your mind.
Not sure which one you are referring to as turning point, but all the knee-tests reminded me of how Hao-Ting grabbed…
^^ nah it’s all good you didn’t XD it was out of context so it didn’t spoil the plot or anything. And it was a great scene! That was definitely one of the parts that I thought were great in the show.
There is something bizarre going on here. First of all, there are literally scores, maybe hundreds, of reviews…
You can literally watch this on Dailymotion, drama cool, you tube and like a million other sites. I assume the company wanted to see if people would be willing to pay for higher quality content, their not stupid, they know that a lot of the people who pay for it will copy it and stream it to other sites. So there is no need for them to do it. Also fans do this with every single show that they love, as in manipulate views etc to make their chosen show appear more popular than it is, it’s not like this is the only show they do it for, I’ve seen army discussing how to buy vpns in the comment section of YouTube so they can watch bts MVs over and over and for it to be counted as seperate views and that’s just the most obvious one. Anyway I mean you do you, if you want to assume there are ppl conspiring around this show go ahead, I really don’t actually care >< I just had nothing better to do right now than throw my own opinion around like it matters.
Which it does not, don’t worry I’m not in any danger of actually believing what I say or think matters to anyone but me...
This is probably the best I’ve ever seen a drama handle one guy telling another guy that he likes guys XD I mean you know what I mean when oh aew tells Teh he likes Bas. Tehs reaction is kind of perfect mostly because he has no reaction to the fact that it’s a boy only to the fact that Oh aew likes someone
But boy was I wrong >< it’s seriously disgusting some of the things that rich CEOs and heirs and heiresses have done to their employees just because they did not run to fulfill or anticipate their smallest whims.
