There’s only 3 episodes out it must be pretty good if 3 episodes are getting this good of a reaction from a lot of watchers

If this website needs money then introduce a subscription or a premium service. Or as I mentioned as for donations to keep running. Do something that’s actually useful not something that’s as useless as a paid ranking system and requires the minimum amount of work for the developers.

I’m so sick of people like you who just have the need to tell other people off and feel morally superior for a second or two.

This flower system is gross because it’s based on micro transactions, it’s used in games as you mentioned because the developers know they can get players to pay small amounts constantly without actually adding it all up and realising just how much they have spent. Micro transactions aren’t used to keep a ‘free’ service running they’re are used to make profits.

Also, if your giving money away to game developers without knowing what it’s being used for your an idiot.

Stop assuming everyone wants everything to be free, most of us have jobs and pay for everything in our lives for fucks sake. We all know what it’s like to work out ass of so we get that pay check, asking us to spend on a service that does absolutely nothing is disgusting. When I buy something in a game it actually does something for me, if nothing else it at least makes playing the game more enjoyable. Please, enlighten me, what exactly does a ranking system for actors on this website do for me???

All I did was compare the reviews with online articles about the movies, thought about the fact that this site is really only used by European and western countries, then remember the fact that on all my visits to japan and Korea most of the people there hardly spoke a word of English, and came to the plausible conclusion that the reviews are fake.

Smut in itself needs different aspects for everyone to be pleasing. You obviously didn’t like it, which doesn’t mean that no one did.

I watched this whole movie after I left that comment XD only because I hate to be one of those ppl that judges something without actually seeing the whole thing. Unfortunately though I still agree with my initial assent. I’d hoped I was wrong, but for me this movie was completely pointless. Which I obviously understand doesn’t mean that everyone found it so. If you saw something in it that’s great, someone out there put effort into making it so I’m happy that it’s being appreciated.

I get your point here, but I slightly disagree with you. Like I agree but also disagree a bit XD sorry it’s hard to explain, but basically I think that the show itself does represent itself as a mystery in the way it’s set out and told. It withholds information and uses flashbacks in a way to set itself up as a mystery.

But I also think your right because there’s no actual mystery for the viewer. For us it’s just a romance with a supernatural style plot.

Yeah only the site is profiting from this and it’s just disappointing and causes me to actually stop using it as much as I used to. They already host ads so it’s not like they don’t already get money >~<

The worst part is that whoever came up with the flowers did so because they obviously know that k drama fans are passionate enough about the actors to spend real money on this and they’re basically preying on that.

If you want to do something for your face actors, buy their actual merch or support their charities, giving money to this website is utterly pointless.

It’s not about the war crimes they committed, I’m from Croatia so I’m not unaware of the fucked up shit ppl do during a war. But I also know from personal knowledge of being in a war zone for over 2 years that those stories you hear are definitely true but they are also far and few between. Of course there’s going to be sadistic sociopaths in the military it’s a job that’s perfect for them, but most of the humans in that job are just people and trust me they react like anyone else in extreme sadistic and tortured situations. My point is that yes the Japanese did fucked up shit, just like the Serbs did to us, but that’s about 10% of them while the other 90% in their units just wanted it to end…

And if I remember correctly, every single Japanese character in this show was a total psycho. I liked this drama because it was accurate and most importantly it didn’t need to exaggerate anything, yet they still chose to portray every Japanese character in such an exaggerated way. I haven’t seen a recent western movie that portrays every single German character in it as a sadistic nazi, sure they might have a few or even a whole unit but not every single one… it was just a disappointing aspect of the drama considering that it managed to be so grounded compared to what K drama is usually like.

What exactly is a season 2 spin off? I mean I know what a spin off is and obviously what a season 2 is but I’m not familiar with a season 2 spin off? Is that a thing? Can you explain it? I’m honestly curious.

As for you statement that Netflix is trying to turn K dramas into western shows, I don’t really see how? By adding more seasons? Korean dramas have more than one season. Not all of them sure, and the more popular ones internationally tend to be one season only sure, but yeah I don’t really get it. And I’m honestly just curious I swear, I just like hearing peoples opinions about this kind of stuff. So how exactly do you think Netflix is changing k drama to fit western audiences?

I personally don’t really think so, Netflix just throws money at production companies in any country, they don’t actually get involved in the process. All the Korean dramas they’ve produced have been made with only Korean actors, staff and in Korea (except that horrible one in the college dorm and I mean I’ll give them that one because it’s set in an international dorm) it’s not like Netflix is making western versions of Korean dramas like they do with anime. They do like to butcher anime so I understand your fears trust me, I am scared that it might happen to k dramas as well. But so far they’ve been pretty good with it.

Ugh I really hate dramas that somehow insinuate that a guy will fall in love with the first woman who manages to manipulate him into going on a date with her…

She has never felt bad about anything she said or did.

She only apologised to the townspeople after the microphone incident because no one was coming to her dental clinic. She reflected on nothing except the fact that she needed customers.

And she does this with everything.

In episode 5 she only thinks about what she said to Du Sik about being too good for him because she finds out that he went to a good school and is actually very much on her social standing and not below it.

But look XD this is the way I see it, I’m not saying that what you said is wrong I’m really not, it’s just a difference of opinion. I have to deal with classist assholes a lot so this kind of behaviour really gets to me.

Am I the only one that absolutely can’t stand Hye Jin? Her personality is gross and I get that through the show she will change and blah blah blah. But this in no way excuses her behaviour so far. She literally thinks she’s better than everyone, she judges people completely on first impressions but she expects them to treat her like she’s a fucking Queen, even when she’s doing something nice like helping that old lady from the beginning she’s actually doing it for herself because she really just wanted her boss not to tell her what to do.

She has to be the least likeable female lead in a drama I’ve seen in a long time. And like that’s not easy to do since there are so many unlikable female leads in dramas. But usually it’s because they’re Mary Sues or just fucking boring, while Hye Jin is grade A human trash.

I see everyone raving about it… but tbh I found myself getting a bit bored towards the end of each episode. The actual deserters they chase and the seperate little stories of who they are take up pretty much all the screen time and I found none of them particularly riveting or emotionally charged.

I don’t think this is a bad show, I think the fact that it only has 6 episodes saved it because I would have gotten pretty bored if it had 16.

Also, I hope if this gets a second season that it actually focuses on the two main characters Jun Ho and Ho Yul, especially Ho Yul because they are the most interesting people in this so far. But the show barely gives us any of their backstory.

Yeah I kinda doubt that, but if you wanna go with that I’ll play along…
