You are clearly missing the point... the fact there are kissing scenes or even sex scenes in some series is totally fine, it's the fact it happens to be the in Thai BL the most by far, which is kinda odd and I've seen many fans who think that's the most important/worth seeing scenes(s) of the whole drama, which proves the point... no, two men kissing doesn't mean fetish at all, but you're talking about two separate things, it's those fans being mad when there is no steamy scene, with kissing photos as their wallpapers, thinking every "BL couple" is dating in real life as they do extreme fan service... those don't care about LGBT rights at all...

sorry, but the fact you are saying "two men being intimate" instead of "two men in love" or "gay representation" speaks volumes...

there is difference between homophobic and someone who doesn't think the life ends, if they take out the BL storyline in this one drama...

I like him, but aside from All Of Us Are Dead, he basically plays the same characters over again...

well, this is literally untrue, Netflix picks just a few, and Strong Woman Nam Soon was very bad, several others are weak too, the upcoming Miss Day and Night doesn't look promising either... while Miraculous Brothers was very good.

while I understand both sides, there are Korean BL being made, and if you think that if the character was bullied for being gay (that's horrible thing that LGBT nor any other should go through!) and kissing the other guy (they have great chemistry even without it...) would actually change something for LGBT community in Korea, that is laughable, sorry.

to be fair, they could've keep the ML being gay and that being the main cause for bullying, and then keep the bromance between the two - this would be ideal in my personal opinion, but based on these comments, most BL fans want kissing scenes over the actual rep and insight into issues of gay man in society, so doesn't matter much... not all, but most BL fans watch the series for kissing scenes and cheap romance (don't get me wrong, there are some very good BLs and nothing wrong with kissing scenes between two males at all!), but let's be fair here, most are of terrible quality or just pure fluff, where magically everyone including all brothers and friends are gay/bi and noncensual intercourse/kiss is accepted by most

don't know why it's rated so high, the comedy is pure cringe

well sorry, but you didn't watch some intense bromance/platonic love then, in most actual BL (unless it's serious/thriller drama) it's basically just odd jealousy and make outs, no real twists and turns - unlike in for example The Devil's Judge - insane chemistry, one can sorta interpret it as possible BL, while getting a quality show

if you actually watch it, you can interpret it as BL just with it confectin and kiss
