it is the whole point of the show, slowly progressing from friends to lovers. It would be weird if they did it…
The problem is not the slowness, but rather all this awful bro for life crap that's repeated ad nauseam despite ML confessing all the time from e5 to e14, it's just silly and repetitive.
Also I'm sorry but in real life M&F friendships the man will not touch the woman's hair so casually.
It is true the dialog is quite great most of the time & there are many beautiful scenes, but every episode has that one super frustrating moment when they backpedal from some kind of insane escalation.
The "my friend did this, what should they do" trope is just really really dumb. Personally I don't think the advice given is the real problem here, based on the information that is told to the dumbo married couple.
From ep 6 to 14, in every episode one of them does a big thing that is basically a confession & then all that fizzles out into "bros for life". Now after everyone having lost their patience, things are finally moving on.
However this is not what I have signed up for and if I could travel back in time I would probably pass on this drama.

There are several almost kiss scenes leading to awful conversations about being bros, but no real lip touching so far.
dropped it at ep6 & came back to check what's happening, how's the slow burn guys??😂
One of them does a confession like act every episode, but then the other professes eternal friendship. (e14's was especially bad, so much so that I even doubt the translation a little bit, because the dialog felt a bit strange in those final scenes)
Supposedly this is ending now in e16-17, so huzzah?

A fraction of their bromantic scenes are very beautiful for sure. I don't know, maybe it will be a lot more fun during a rewatch, knowing in advance what's to come. .

Because it's extremely unrealistic. For starters they do insane things for each other that are impossible in a male-female friendship & then after such acts they just backpedal in every single episode.
As for wanting to preserve the friendship, the moment one of them gets a spouse it's either friendship over, or the spouse would just leave. If I met a guy who was acting like ML with his "bro", I would nope out very fast for sure. So basically their close friendship either has an expiration date, or they stay single for the rest of their lives to preserve the friendship!
Also the ML in one scene is 10/10 jealous over this or that & in the next he is doing the usual bro for life proclamation. It's a bit tiresome after the nth time..
Every episode has about 1 minute that is supremely annoying & the rest is not amazing with quite a bit of propaganda content. I'm not dropping it yet, because I have a feeling once they get past this around e20 it's going to be a lot of fun..

Very strongly disagree, because everything is wrong with their "friendship" & they are making grand romantic gestures and backpedal in every episode..
So there is still plenty of time left to give us the "good stuff" after ALL THIS SUFFERING.
To me this show would go from 5/10 to 8/10 if every episode had that 1-2 minutes of setting boundaries cut.
