I'm watching episode 4, they've just gotten into the car. I'm thinking either police punishment will happen, or Yan Ke already has a license. Will the cdrama genre surprise me today? xD
It has been like this already in 2018, not sure when exactly it happened.
It is Goblin. Guardian.. is the official name used on Netfix?, imdb and MDL. They did this, because Goblin means a different thing in Korean mythology than in English, so here we are.
I honestly think this drama is a little overhyped. The age is a little weird and we could’ve done without it…
Goblin has some of the strongest scenes, sets and acting performances in kdrama history. There are tear jerking scenes, epic scenes & humorous scenes. Sure the drama is not perfect -and yes the ending is a bit weak- no kdrama ever is, but it really is packed with some of the best things plausible for a show of its kind.
>Well actually, the not leaving the house thing is very real! The drama is talking about not leaving their…
I'm not contesting anything you are saying -well except me being ignorant of a condition I myself kind of had for a while- , but I don't think you comprehended what I tried to communicate in my review. Hint, look at FL & her room in these flashback scenes & think again.
omg i agree about mirae being kinda lame and boring compared to miji! but!!! Kim Rosa???? What was bad about her????…
>Well actually, the not leaving the house thing is very real!
The drama is talking about not leaving their rooms, not their homes, it's a huge difference!
> What was bad about her????
To me her plot has been incredibly predictable from early on & everything about her felt fake and artificial to me. Maybe part of it is kdrama fatigue, it's just so common to put an elderly character like this into a show for the mains to take care of..
See... 37 kg last XMas at the hospital with neurological symptoms. Unable to walk, talk, eat. Now, 8 months later…
Her carrier is basically over already, there is almost no chance to come back from her previous situation, so all this is not relevant to that anymore.
>If I - private western person with a wee bit of medical knowledge- am able to connect the dots ...
Yes well, every second A lister actress in China is medically speaking malnourished. It's a disgrace, but it is what it is. This is not on Lushi. If you have a naturally chubby face at a healthy weight, then you can either go malnourished or not be a female celebrity, basically.
We don't know enough to clearly take sides with confidence, but I understand why someone would behave like this in her situation.
I checked the novel when they graduate from high school & it's like 60% in. Knowing cdramas they might just push the uni life to the final 3-4 epis, I'm reluctant to start this.
Even though PMY starring with younger actor in Weather Forecast with You disappoint many, I'd still wish she'd…
Forecasting is an awful drama & the leads had bad chemistry. Imo their ages had nothing to do with it & I'd love to watch PMY in more noona romances involving better writers & a more careful casting of the younger ML.
If I watch the korean version first, will this one be worth watching after??
Opinions differ, but I would say no, unless you wait like half a year. (I'm currently only half way in, but I also think the Korean show is better, which is shockingly also a controversial statement.)
edit: oh and he has a driver's license too, of course. xD

What a banger.
