I laughed like a mad person when they found him in the closet.
In the last few episodes, the actor really killed it. He went from obsessed manic to absolutely insanely obsessed about vengeance. There's another scene I also really like after the closest scene .
If GSJ bought it, that means something more than bathing happened between them. If nothing happened he would had probably mocked her and yelled "that bastard aint mine"
Finally done!! Im not going to comment on my feelings for the ending cause I'm still confused as to what I feel. I will however comment on the series itself and the production, crew, cast, etc. Amazing job from everyone involved.
ZLH you damn puppy you. Best work I've seen from Esther. I love her in these dark mature roles. Also as an actress, I'm happy she is willing to get down and dirty and do the work herself whereas I've seen many actress use a stand in/stunt double to do minor things like standing or even walking in the rain. Her best scenes by far were the mud fight scene and the scene in ep 24 in the council hall.
I'm happy I was introduced to new faces and will be on the lookout for them.
GSJ tops my list of favorite fictional characters. I knew my boy was righteously bad. Not only is he intelligent, he's also mature in his ways of thinking and doing things. He plays the bad guy to get things done even if the world judges him for it, his heart is always in the right place. If his looks can kill, I'd be dead the moment we met.
Thanks to the person who shared the links for the remaining episodes!! Cinematography and choreography was so…
I think Prince Hua's story touched me the most out of everyone's. His story was the only one I cried for. Though it was very small, it was impactful and resonated with me so much. I think the MOST important thing in a person's life is their parents. The acceptance, approval, guidance, care, and love that children crave for can greatly shape how they'll grow into adulthood.
All he wanted was to make his dad proud and at the end when he saw images of his younger self and his dad, those tears of sadness and happiness together created an overwhelming mix of emotions within me. Have you ever seen how a child's face lit up when their parents shows up for them or praise them? Or how a child's face falls when they're put down and betlittle? Anyways it was touching.
Thanks to the person who shared the links for the remaining episodes!! Cinematography and choreography was so beautifully done in the last few episodes. I'm on episode 23 and continued to be blown away by the visuals.

Is that a red birthmark I see on the back of the person killing Lady Wuji? Similar to the one SGQ "has". That cloaked person killing Lady Wuji is 100% the woman that runs Wufeng that killed Yun Que.
OH! It may just be me but now that we've seen almost everyone's backstory, I really want to see SGQ's backstory. It will give us insight as to why she is the way she is. Her sneakiness is a learned behavior she possibly picked up as a child. I also want to see Big Sis's backstory too. She seems to be very overlooked and treated as disposable since she's a woman. We've seen glimpse of her real self breaking through that fake smiling persona a few times already.
is it just me or was the bath scene underwhelming... we waited 17 episodes for it to happen, and we basically…
The build up till the end of the scene was perfect. The minimal physical contact plus sensual eye contact was on point, even the way the scene was shot was sexy.... but then nothing else happen!! I was waiting for a kiss. Anything but knowing these two, they rather kill than kiss. Hell I would even take them trying to kill each other in a steamy moment. They're like Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
