I also enjoyed both episodes. The first was very fast paced and presented a lot of info and background. But I can understand why some people did not like it very much.

Lol true, that one traumatized many people. But I should say I can’t see the comparison apart form starting the relationship early on in the drama. I felt the dialogue in ROY was forced and not natural. I don’t feel that at all here. I actually like the dialogue. It’s different than other dramas and fresh.

The writer is new. I think he was trying so much for the first episode. The second episode was focused on the leads and it’s better.

She was amazing in rookie historian and the girl who see smells. Maybe the melodrama roles were not to ur taste.

Yes the writer is new and this is his first project. I guess he was trying so much in the first episode lol. But, famous writers were quite disappointing recently. So, I’m all for supporting new talents.
So far I liked it especially the fl and I’m tuned in for more especially about her story. I also like the chemistry between the main couple. Though I totally agree that it’s better to focus on them only.
I can see how the gun incident can be viewed negatively and the upcoming fighting seen too. Some stuff in kdramas just belong to kdrama such as the sailing without a map or hitting a mentor and then ask them for help. Stuff that bewildered me from start up.

To be fair I don’t think she knew the script will be that bad. Usually actors are given the script of the first episode only and they have to decide to do that drama or not. The writing of this one was not that good. But that’s on the writer really not the cast.

I personally liked it. It was very popular in South Korea too. That’s why it was extended form 16 to 22 episodes. The ratings were not a joke and even many dramas that r popular with internationals did not get these ratings. It’s a fantasy melodrama. I loved the first 8 episodes. Each one finished with a surprise. The second part slowed down but that happens with almost all kdramas. I don’t understand why internationals dragged this show down really. U can’t watch the first several episodes and see if u like it. There r far much worst dramas that get far much better rating here while they hardly deserve a 5.

I like the character of the FL. She is very relatable to me. I like how she is strong, positive and is doing her best to live her life and build a career in a field she is passionate about but still has her own quirkiness. Her difficulties in the first episode were very relatable really. The ML character is not as relatable to me though as I don’t suffer from having overbearing and overachiever parents who see their kids as an extension to themselves and don’t see them as the person they really are. But, I understand it as I have friends who have similar parents. He seems hard from the outside but I think he will open up and soften as the drama progresses. We did not get much yet about the second couple but the SML seems calm and artsy while the SFL seems strong and passionate.
Fo far, I like that each character has their own ecstatic vibes with a bit of quirkiness and awkwardness. But, I think the writer was trying to tell so much and provide a lot of back ground in the first episode though. I m gonna give the writer some slack as this is their first project.

I watched many dramas with very tall ML and short FL where everyone was crazy about the hight different that i really wanted to see something different . So, I’m all up to it lol

But it looks like expressing my opinion bothered you! So u have the right to say u don’t like actors (which is really missed up as they r also people who work hard in their project and even if you don’t connect with their acting, you could have chosen a more positive way saying that especially that you would not have really watched all their dramas ) but me coming to call your comment uncalled for negativity for a drama that have not been aired yet, becomes a big deal and personal. That quit a double standard really. As I said, if you were to be treated that way, aka people saying that you can not do what you do or study, and then they follow ur activities to keep expressing the same point, you would call that hate and bullying not just uncalled for negativity.

It’s a different role for him. I watched his other works apart from the horror one (I don’t watch horror) and I think his role here is interesting. He is the son of overbearing over achieving parents and is struggling with his career but does not show much. He also stand to help when he can. I liked how he tried to help his friend who is being bullied by their team members. But when he saw that his friend is not up to accept his help, he did not push it but gave him a good advice.

Yes, in in the US and just watched today episode. I watched on my iPad though. I noticed some stuff take longer to appear on my iPhone.

She is my complete Korean bias. I even don’t like male Korean actors as much as I like her lol. I watched most or even all of her dramas and always loved her acting. Also, she is well like in her country and already won many awards and was on Forbes most influential Korean twice. I saw people giving her flak and when I asked which dramas they watched for her, they said NONE.

I don’t understand why it’s not on your Netflix, I thought open for worldwide Netflix subscribers. But, u can watch on kissasian.sh. Th3 first episode is already up.

I m in the US and it’s on my list already. Have u tried to look up the name? I think it’s going to be broadcasted all Netflix subscribers.

I can’t wait for this drama. It’s the only drama I anticipated this year. It feels so warm and fuzzy lol.

But his name still on the cast list. That’s strange. Maybe because it’s a gust role, it’s not on the character chart.

I’m glad that the forum purged on those fake reviews. It looks like many of them where trying to drag this drama down considering how the rating jumped from 6.5 to 7.2.

Well that because she never loved him. He was just obsessed with her and did not take no for an answer. He even asked her to marry him for his money. Loving someone never guarantee that they will love you back. That how is it really. Can u force yourself to love someone if the loved you and gave u stuff? Also, I think people over look how traumatizing their first meeting was. He was attacking her family, ready to destroy everything they have. As some one who sent through similar thing when my dads brother attacked our house. I can tell u there is no going back. The memory will be there for ever. I still despise that man and never ever will consider him family.

It’s interesting that you think other people are stupid and can’t see behind the facade. And if u want to use such tactics at least don’t have her name on your public blacklisted actors. So, not only you publicly dis her, but also come specifically to her stuff to spread uncalled for negativity. Lets see if you think it’s ok if you were the one treated in the same way.
