after watching When "A Man's in Love" i never watched SSK dramas again lets try this time ....
I actually liked when a man falls in love. Can’t believe it almost 10 years old drama. It does have the old kdrama vibes. But unlike most people, I was team ssk. I thought it’s crazy that many people wanted her to force herself to love the man, marry him and have his kids. I’m sure if the main guy was not good looking and rich , many people will think he is creepy. I also have to give credit to ssk for playing such grayish and antagonistic characters. When other actresses her age (she was 21-22) where playing the dommy, silly, dismal in distress character, she played such character and got a lot of flak for it.
I’m impressed with ur ability to get ur bf to watch kdramas. I also read ur comment on start up and that he…
I think I can nag over his head lol. but, in my mind, I worry he would choose one of those horror kdramas. I can watch anything but horror and my husband likes horror stuff. He also like action. Maybe, I need to find him a good action kdrama.
I worked as a translator and people usually has this assumption that I would know certain people (in the field I translated) but i had sometime to pretend I know some people lol.
Does anyone know how does Netflix distribute stuff for different regions. Some kdramas were accessible to all Netflix subscribers worldwide but this one is not. People in certain locations were complaining that they can’t watch the drama on Netflix. I also found it strange that Netflix did not promote the drama on their front page as they do with other dramas.
wow this is so bland I thought no one can beat SSK's bad acting but ISW proved me wrongI get the character and…
I think both of them are doing so well. Yes, the characters has their own quirkiness and awkwardness. But, the acting is on point. Also, the chemistry between the leads is amazing unlike many popular kdrama leads this year. Maybe, the drama is not to ur taste. And that fine, people have different likes and dislikes.
After making two mugs of hot chocolate for my boyfriend he has now finished watching the first two episodes, here…
I’m impressed with ur ability to get ur bf to watch kdramas. I also read ur comment on start up and that he watched the drama with u. I think my husband prefer jail time over watching kdrama lol (I’m exaggerating of course) Ur bf had good points. I really liked how seon gyeom owed up to what he did and did not sugarcoat it. That was very refreshing especially after the ml in startup spent the whole drama justifying and minimizing his wrongdoings. I think mi joo did not know him before because he is in the sport industry. But, she knew his mom/ the actress.
Honestly the history is kind boring, but i really liked the characters, everyone acts in a way I do not expect.
I have to disagree with u unfortunately. Yes history can be seen as boing, but it also provide us with better understanding about the characters. It’s important to see how characters came to be and their story. For example, the fl is struggling to build her career and is used by her teacher as a free labor. I think this hit home to many young professionals out there. If this history was not provided we will not get to understand the characters :)
The female lead chose to be a translator because she liked foreign movies. And she really translates movies, sports…
She is already not being paid for the work she does so far. The sad thing is that people wants translators to translate but they don’t want to pay them. I’m also a fellow translator but most of my work was political, interviews with people who work in politics or other influential positions. I also worked on some project interpreting for people working for the government when they were trained in public policy and such stuff. I struggled with people who wanted me to work for free and wanted to use my skills without recognition. And I did a lot of stuff for free too. I was interested in art and I did a lot of translation for free. I got to meet people from other place though but that does not pay bills lol.
Who do you like more Dan Ah or Mi Joo?? I like Dan Ah more.
Mi Joo for me, while had lots of difficulties and lost her parents at a young age, she is strong, smart, passionate and doing her best to live her life to the fullest and achieve her dreams. She is very relatable to me.
it's just me or eunwoo's acting is the same since my id is gangnam beauty? he always poker face even when he needs…
I personally liked him the most in rookie historian. His start was not the best but he improved with the drama progress. But his character there was different and had a lot of characters development too unlike his other work.
I understand ur point. One of my favourite Chinese drama is nirvana in fire and it’s rating went down a lot. What I meant is that rating here for me is never a determining factor whether to watch a drama or not. I actually watched many badly rated dramas and enjoyed them a lot more than many popular ones. I noticed the lack of objectivity in rating here and thats the name of the main actor usually impact rating a lot. That’s why I said I don’t care for rating that much personally.
I personally never care for ratings. Usually big name actor dramas get pumped up because of the name of actors and not the quality of the drama. There r many amazing drama here that did not get good rating. And there r many stupid dramas that get high ratings. It’s sad but people r never objective.
