Annabelle doll because...
Lian thought of Kuea as a cute & valuable porcelain doll that he kept in his showcase. He realized now that the doll was not that simple... but as Annabelle doll who was alive, naughty and liked to escape as soon as he was not looking.

"I only have one doll in my showcase. I would know if the doll climbed off of the shelf", Lian. (In translation)

I was... Thanks God that he didn't actually think of Kuea as a ghost like doll!!!

Lian has been looking for Kirin before Kirin came home to Thailand... He didn't know that Kirin was Thai. He was following Kirin from Europe, one for liking his music and another because he wanted to hire Kirin for his Pentagon club so he saw all Kirin videos.

Jay, the owner of Gemini club, was bragging about Kirin to Lian, who was frequent there for 5 years by that point. Jay felt very lucky to get Kirin to work there.
Lian was so ecstatic to see the show for the first time at the Gemini club BUT he couldn't show his excitement to anyone. He didn't want Jay to know because they were business competitors. Jay would want to guard his best player if he knew that Lian was so interested in hiring Kirin. Lian was stone faced when he saw that show... excited, hiding his curiosity, recognize Kirin who he just said good night to over the phone, impressed with the skill and also was mad that he was lied to.

That is when Lian started the investigation on Kuea. At that turnign point, he was pretty sure there are more that he didn't know.

Later around of 1/3 story, Jay would turn into Lian's business partner. Lian was buying into the Gemini club. The club needed money to operate. He is doing that to give Guea a place to be Kirin... He started to understand Guea more.

Kon Dearw dragged Kuea to see How to Train Your Dragon. Kuea fell asleep on animation... this was his thing. He mentioned the movie to Lian and Lian got him the dolls... one at a the time. He got the Toothless first, Lian saw that Kuea was happy so he got the Light Fury, too. Now Kuea had to go back to finish the movie... took him 4 days because he kept falling asleep. LoL!

Kuea took the dolls to his safe house and got no where to put them. He had them shown behind the drum set in one of his Youtube videos by accident and Lian caught that. LoL!

They are sooooo cute!!!! I thought so.
That's also why Lian got the Toothless & Light Fury dolls for Kuea. He thought Kuea liked animation/How to Train Your Dragon movie. Kuea hated animation but he liked the dolls because they were dragons.

Kuea said that Lian was Toothless and he was Light Fury. Kuea had a lighter complexion.

I will write more summary out if you are interested. The novel goes much deeper than the series.... Like Fifty Shades of Gray, it is hard to have everything portray in the film.

Lian LOVED Keua... He LIED because he was mad that Kuea was faking it... and he felt like there was another side of Keua that Keua kept hidden. He regretted later for saying that. He truly loved Kuea and didn't realized that would hurt Kuea's feeling that severely... Later, he felt pain because Kuea was emotionally injured by his words.

We see them being estrange because BOTH created and showed themselves how they thought the other person wanted to see. We viewed Kuea's thought in the series. Lian did the same.

Lian has always been in Kuea's life... they grew up together and they LOVED each other. As a child, Lian's family has gone to see Kuea's family every weekend and treated it like a church day.... They went in their Sunday's best. They genially loved & trusted one another like a big family... Their moms loved each other.

Lian is now running their Thai silk fabric business and managed their main mansion... that's how he knew that Kuea didn't really stay at the mansion.

Keau loved Lian and thought he always let Lian win.

Lian Loved Keau and also thought the same!!!

Kuea started putting the wall up around the secrets of his school major in Auto Engineering (dirty & not sweet manicured kind work), secret safe house (Kuea's dad house so Lian couldn't find it... to practice drum, shoot Youtube video & keep his beloved bike), big-bike and Kirin... He thought those were inappropriate and not suitable for Lian's life so he kept them under-wrap.

Lian wanted Kuea to have the picture perfect of a high society housewife like his mom because he thought that's what Kuea wanted. Therefore, he worked so hard to be able to put Kuea in that position. He planned all his life to be someone suitable next to Kuea. His fear was to embarrass Kuea for not being worthy of Kuea's family. So the clothing, well-mannered, soft-spoken, etc... are for Kuea.

Lian doesn't like wearing suit all the time and that how Kuea ALWAYS saw him in. Lian dressed up for Kuea because he wanted to be worthy of Kuea & he always saw Keua in nice clothing. Keau did that same for Lian because Keua thought that Lian was a perfectionist.... They would learn later that they both didn't really like doing that.

They would also learn that about food, too. Kuea like BBQ & Hot Pot but he was afraid to say... Lian kept taking Kuea to fancy restaurants because he thought Kuea liked it.

*** Lian would take a different approach after their fight... he wanted to draw Keau's real self out. Lian loved Kuea as a sweet boy... he loved Kuea's wild side even more as he knew more... He was impressed that it was quite difficult, even with his well-resourced, it was hard to get info on Kuea's secret.

Plus, he was waiting for Kuea to be in his 20s... he is a patient man.
He thought of Kuea's well-known and conservative view of the public that it would hurt Kuea's reputation if he didn't wait until the appropriate time to have adult relationship.

Kuea's dad had been Thai ambassador in Europe for years and now in Austria. Kuea has been sent to boarding school in England. He didn't resent that. He has been loved by all around him. Keua met Dearw in the boarding school.

They didn't say when Kuea left but the book talked about the picture that they kept of Lian and Kuea when Kuea was like around 6 before Kuea left thailand. They are SEVEN YEARS apart in age. Kuea moved back to Thailand to be freshman in college. Kuea's currently a sophomore.
Kuea came home home every summer. Lian went to see Kuea on the summer that Kuea couldn't make it home because he was sick.

I just read 1/4 of the novel... a very good story!!!

Both Lian and Kuea are trying to be the persons that they think the other person is hoping for... to be suitable for this marriage.

Kuea is trying his best to be the sweet boy from old money family that stand matching up to Lian. Kuea is leaving a life of someone that can be famous in the Europe music world, where Kirin have shown so much potential as a prodigy.

Lian is the new money who was supported by Kuea's family. His family used to work for Kuea's grandpa. Kuea's grandpa loaned them millions of dollars when their business was underfunded. So Lian's family is in debt to Kuea's family.... for their help when needed. In Thai culture, marrying the boss' kid is something of and inappropriately over-reached.... even thought Lian has a lot of money now, it can still be seen that way. So Lian was, as well, trying his best to be a perfect bf to match up to Keua who is very-well positioned as old money, well respect family name, has a titled mother and has a very higher up level ambassador father.

Apparently, Lian and Keua are more alike than they thought...

Lian loved supercar while Kuea loved superbike. They like dark & raw concert walls for their houses... Keua loved Lian's house and Lian liked Kuea's sefe house. They both over-dressed for each other because they thought that what the other like. They loved the same music.. that's what got Lian to start looking for Kirin in the first place.

Lian knew was there when Keua played at the Gemini bar for the first time. Lian was frequent there before Keua moved back to Thailand. He was there for the music... so he was pissed to see Keau under disguised... Lian recognized Keua. Before this Lian thought he gave Keua room to be teenager. He thought Keua was a sweet person as shown to him. He never checked.

After that, PIs time. Lian knew about the the superbike and that Kuea has a secret house because Kuea was hardly home... His PIs couldn't get the location because Keua usually went there on the superbike.

Keua got drunk after his attempt to brake off the engagement and ended up revealing the secret house. That night Lian learned that Keua really loved him... and I think he eased up a little bit... I think he was learning to love Keua as an adult, even-though he has loved Keua as a kid-brother. When he saw Kirin, he felt mistrust.... although he was pretending also.

Ok... I have more to read.
So far Kuea was truly crazy about Lian... He named everything (Dragon), which is the meaning of Lian's name... I think that's very cute.

Lian = Dragon in Chinese
Kilian = Dragon in Thai
Gilian (Keua's Bike) = Dragon... forgot the language that this came from.
Kirin = Dragon in Japanese

Lian brought Toothless and Light Fury dolls for Keua as a gift and then he saw them again in Kirin's Youtube video. Kirin put the dolls behind his drum set... Lian got excited and saw this as a game he wanted to win...but he wanted to win over Keua that he wanted Kuea to be himself... he seriously wanted them to be real to each other and was planing to force Keua out from the fake shell.

PS; Kuea didn't like animation. He fell asleep every-time watching it. He told Lian that he went to see How to Train Your Dragon (His friend dragged him to see) and Lian thought Kuea like cartoon. They both have to learn to communicate. LoL!

Why many are so rough on Gun performance?
Alright~!! He is not Fluke Natouch but Gun is not terrible... Nitiman or Physical Therapy are so-so much worse. I was in pain watching those series.

This show is entertaining and I think Gun has many lovable characters in this story.

The plot is predictable but I enjoyed it. I think it is a nice mixed of the casts. I am not a fan of typical old fashioned Thai Lakorn, yet this one surprisingly exceeded my expectation. I will re-watch.

If you are looking for perfection, you may want to go for I told Sunset About You or Until We Meet Again or Bad Buddy... those are on a higher league to be fair.
If you set your bar a little lower and look for another enjoyable show, this one can deliver the job.

PS: The ending scene could use an overhaul. It is not bad-bad, but it leaves a lot of room to be desired.

I think Black is protecting White as he has always been.
Black can't tell anyone that White is exist so he had to do that to Sean to push Sean away... or the secret wouldn't blow.

As soon as White met up with Black, first thing that ran through my head was, "omg!!! White has to tell Sean." I was gonna cry... Sean must have felt utmost upset and confused.

Agree with Tawi theory. White's mom warned him.

Oh My GOD!!! This one took my by surprise. Seriously!!!!!
Such a good story. Love all casts and that is soooo rare for me.

If you like this one, I would recommend Until We Meet Again.

In the Ep2 sample, I don't think Lian is unhappy about Kirin identity revealing... seemed like he had trouble with Guea being drunk and let someone grab him.

Yeah, I bet it is from Talay. Someone told me that Talay is the brother of the guy who got the Red Card in Ep 1.

In other re-makes, there are kidnapping thing but.... that's done before the fiancé thing... I could be wrong.

We will see more of Ren. He is my favorite character.
