For me, it was strong all the way through until the last episode with the war, I thought that was unnecessary and wasn’t really important to the whole story, it was just their excuse to kill off our favourite sidekicks and have us shed tears just because.

Also watching but I feel it’s not on par with The Double. Interesting still though.

I found Zhang Ling He so good looking in the variety show with Dilireba (I don’t know the name and am too lazy to find it) but somehow in this drama he looks “greasy” for lack of a better word lol.

I’m pretty sure this is only me but for some reason I feel like the acting of the FL here is not as good as her other works. I found her brilliant in Reset and Snowstorm but for some reason she’s not doing it for me in this role. I think the story is interesting so far though so will definitely continue.

Agree, there is also Mysterious Lotus Casebook (just thought of this one since you mentioned Blood of Youth). Actually I pretty much recommend most c dramas on MDL with a rating of 8.7 and above, I’ve enjoyed most of them.

Where does everyone read the novels? I’m a TV series person and have not read any novels so interested to know how people find out about these popular novels. FYI, I found out about this drama from The Double comments haha.

Wow I didn’t know people were comparing S1 to S2 to the point some are even considering not watching lol. I find both seasons great and continuous, can’t say one is better than the other to me, it’s a continuation and does not disappoint. The vibe, humor, cleverness and emotions all live up to it’s standards that is this series.

I know that’s the reason going around but it doesn’t seem realistic to me, they changed the entire plot for one actress? I don’t believe they deem this actress to be so important but I haven’t followed the official channels so can’t be sure.

Todays episode 😢, didnt keep to the high note the series has taken so far, the death of Tong er was so unnecessary. The acting was on point though, I cried when Ah Li tried to stop Tong er from leaving.

Why does LCF annoy me?
