Tencent uses view count, but I find that those numbers can easily be manipulated by fans that replay the entire drama on multiple devices on 2x-3x speed. Also does view count get counted if the user only watched for 5 minutes? Seems so ambiguous.

I think in the book Lin Hao actually split her demon core in half making a body double for YH. So she lost half her cultivation doing so but that half died in the lava.

They made this drama completely in house to drive up their subscription base because the leads are big stars. It's like how you can only play Halo on Microsoft XBox. For WoH and LaR, the actors were not as popular so they needed other networks to broadcast.

Oh yes, they do rate dramas in China as well. It's been #1 web drama since it started airing. Ji YunHe is the number #1 most popular drama character in Q1 (first quarter of 2022).

Which drama is doing better in China? This or WRTW?
WRTW just came out not even 24hrs ago? I usually watch around the first dozen episodes to get the feels but I haven't started yet. TBW is almost over, only a few episodes left and it's Youku's most successful drama ever in terms of heat index, even higher heat than Word of Honor and Love &Redemption. So there's a lot of Chinese who are watching it. Also TBW doesn't have English subs yet, so if you need subs, it's gonna be a bit longer of a wait.

It gives me the impression that it wasn't too long. After LHQ was released, he went to go find YH fox demon. Then it took like 1 month to raise her until she was an adult. Not sure how long she wandered the world though.

Yeah😆,I find her beautiful in ashes of love but in this drama and elod her costumes are not nice.
I'm guessing that the fox clan is supposed to carry a grungy appearance. So since everyone else in the clan has this "look" it wouldn't make sense to make her look like a "fairy." But her hair is so weird in this drama.
