Reminds me of the Russian movie He's a Dragon (Он – дракон). Even the final scene was the same :)
I thought the same thing. This felt like a mix of Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard, and He's a Dragon.

Title The Wolf Spoiler
Hi.Which ML, there are two listed.FML or SML ??
The main male lead. Spoilers about the ending ahead so read at your own risk. You Wen kept hurting Zhai Xing for dumb reasons and I hated the whole hot then cold thing he was doing. I may have been able to stick with it if it had a good ending but apparently it doesn’t. I much preferred Ji Chong’s character in this since I like nice male leads.

I dropped this about halfway through because I started to really hate the male lead character but I want to give a shout out to Zang Hong Na. She’s a great actress and her character Ma Jing is the best wing woman.

This show is definitely one of my favorites. Like you said it’s nice to see characters who are morally gray. Even though it’s a fantasy show it adds a good dose of realism when characters don’t follow the preconceived notions of what is good or bad.

Selfish people are attracted to positions of power. Their inflated sense of self worth leads them to think they will be a good leader but that’s not necessarily true. The world has seen many narcissists and even psychopaths as rulers of nations. And I think you are correct that leaders can start out with good intentions and become corrupt because the power goes to their head.

Title Kyoufu Shinbun Spoiler
They aren’t really similar story wise, but the ending disappointed me in a similar way to the film Drag Me To Hell. I highly enjoyed the story but I felt like the main character didn’t deserve her fate in the end. I know it’s horror but when the main character is a really good person (at least in this case in her present life) then that character having a bad fate just makes me sad.

I completely agree with your analysis. If you truly love someone you will want them to be happy, even if that means them choosing to be with someone else instead of you. Run Yu lied to and manipulated Jun Mi for his own gain. In the end he wanted to keep her like a possession rather than a living person with feelings. That’s not love, that’s obsession.

Title In a Class of Her Own Spoiler
I just finished ep 28.I think this is an unpopular opinion but, I feel a little sad that Feng Cheng Jun is having…
I definitely agree with you. It’s obvious that they fell in love with each other because they both are intelligent and have good hearts. But it feels like they cheapened it a bit by having him hallucinate her in a really feminine appearance. She’s pretty without all of that. And it’s just nice to think of the idea of falling in love with a person regardless of their gender. I think that’s a big part of why people like cross dressing romance stories.

to all the people who complaining in the comment section, can y'all shut up and wait for the Drama to come out.…
I don’t know why people care so much about the actors’ ages in general. It’s literally their job to embody a character and it’s very likely that character is not going to be the exact actor’s age anyway. Plus an actor can play any age with the use of makeup and/or CGI.

I wrote a spoiler post about my frustrations with the show below but I do want to say that the best part of this show is how they highlighted the culture. I didn’t know much about Malaysia or Singapore but the creators did a fantastic job showcasing the food, customs, and history.

Title The Little Nyonya Spoiler
I was really enjoying this one until episode 29. I may pick it back up again when it’s fully subbed but I have a feeling the frustrations are never ending in this show. I was upset that after Yue Niang told Chen Xi that she was willing to elope and then backed out at the last minute. Her concerns were valid but she at least owed him an explanation in that moment. Don’t just leave the person you love waiting there not knowing why you didn’t appear. It also felt like a waste of the efforts of Yu Zhu and Chen Sheng to help them. At the very least Yue Niang shouldn’t have gone right back to her awful family. I don’t know, I’m probably speaking through the lens of a modern person but my great grandparents were of different social statuses and their families disliked each other (to the point that neither one of them had family members in their wedding photo, just local friends) but they still married and were happy together. I feel like Yue Niang should have looked more for guidance from her parent’s example, they had tragic lives but the short time they were together they were happy and in love and everyone deserves that, even if it makes their family unhappy in that moment. If your family truly loves you they come around and be happy that you are happy.

A very compelling sci-fi/mystery show. A word of warning to those interested; this show is very much like the U.S. show Lost that makes you ask many questions and only gives a few answers.

Piri loves drama Jun 22, 2020
I’m really enjoying this show. I think it’s great that they are highlighting several issues, infertility, single parents, childless couples, and even the mention of adoption. I also enjoy older woman/younger man relationships, as well as men who act like puppies, and Eu Tteum fulfills both of those categories so I am in love with his character. I really hope that everyone in this show has a happy ending. Even if some of the characters are a bit annoying (paging Jae Young) I think all of them are good people at heart.

Title Mr. Fox and Miss Rose Spoiler
I think this drama was above average, but it wasn’t amazing. The interactions between the two leads were cute and I liked the idea of a clash between two worlds and the main female lead learning how modern society works. I liked the female lead’s character the best. She was innocent and naive but not dumb like a lot of female leads. I wasn’t a fan of the male lead. Although he was sometimes sweet to the female lead he constantly lied and put the people who were essentially his family members in danger for profit. I felt like the writers could have handled the storyline better as well. There was a lot of silly back and forth and filler plus the final showdown was pretty lackluster.

Article Beardism in Dramaworld Spoiler
yeah, like siwon does look good in a beard, but the latest style he had during 2ya2yao was too thick https://cdn.popbela.com/content-images/post/20190614/siwon-choi-ke-bali-7-ee0364d854fe806ff6d516702d8f47d0.jpg…
I think he’s at that weird in between stubble and beard stage where beards just don’t look good at all. The same thing happens when people buzz their hair short. Have you seen the World Beard Championship photos before? People can get really creative with their beards and I love it!
