I think it depends on both the person’s face shape and the beard style. Men who naturally have a baby face or undefined jawline can look better with a beard. But I also think that facial hair, especially really long beards, make men look older than they actually are. If a man has a nice jawline already I think he looks better with no facial hair or at least close cut facial hair.
This show is so adorable and funny. It’s also personally healing for me since my cat, who was almost 18 years old, died a week and a half ago. Cats certainly can be aloof jerks, but they are just as loving and loyal as dogs are in the end and that’s what matters. This show is doing a good job portraying that.
I agree about Eun Jin Eun. I’m an introverted shy person naturally and even I know that people don’t pick…
I’m hoping that her storyline will have her opening up more. I think this show has potential for some good character growth for all the main characters.
Jae Sun is really getting on my nerves here, I can't believe I have to wait until next week to see his stupid…
I agree about Eun Jin Eun. I’m an introverted shy person naturally and even I know that people don’t pick up on things if you don’t express them verbally. I do feel bad for her that she’s the odd one out at her workplace but if she would open up a bit more she would likely make friends with her coworkers.
Started out slow but I enjoyed it. I did find some aspects predictable but I think the actors all did a great job and the timeline made sense which doesn’t always happen with some sci-fi stories (I always compare time travel stories to Primer since that film needs a chart to make sense).
I was so shocked when I read this ahaha, do you do CPR until a heart rhythm returns and the use the defib if needed?…
Yep it just depends on the type of cardiac arrest. I learned a lot just by reading about it to comment to you. I didn’t realize you could use an automated external defibrillator to analyze a person’s heart beat until I started reading more about them.
God don't remind me >< Looking back at things like this makes me seize up its terrifying; like up until the nineteen…
I completely agree! I read an article a last year by a man who is a major component of scientific research in the US and he said he is working hard to get animal testing banned. So hopefully having people on the inside fighting for it will help. I know the EU has been better about animal testing bans than the US is so it’s obviously possible to ban it and still successfully test drugs/products.

Yeah there have been a lot of unethical practices and experiments done in the past. What’s scary to me is that likely we are doing things now that people in the future will think was torturous, I’ve heard that said a lot about chemotherapy and radiation. One day those treatments likely will seem barbaric when we have an easier cure for cancer. And animal testing, although a lot of countries are currently trying to phase out animal testing thankfully.

I’m actually not that well versed in medical procedures. I have an art degree. XD I just read a lot about medicine/science since it’s interesting. I had to research a bit to write the following comment for you. Manual external defibrillators, and manual internal defibrillators, are used by medical professionals in a hospital setting because those particular machines have more control over the strength and timing of the shock. Automated external defibrillators are made to be used by any person in an emergency setting and can be found in many public and private buildings now. Of course calling emergency services should happen first during any medical emergency. If someone has a heart episode and there is an automated external defibrillator nearby it can be used to establish whether there is a heartbeat, and if there is one, whether they need to be shocked by the defibrillator, and then of course shock the person’s heart back into the correct rhythm if need be. If there isn’t one nearby the lay person can check for a pulse manually and then start CPR if there is no pulse. So basically to answer your question if they don’t have a pulse keep doing chest compressions until you see signs of life, the person is moving their limbs, moaning, or their eyes are alert, or keep going until the medical professionals show up. If the person is non-responsive and you get tired of doing chest compressions you can always switch out with other people to take a break. I know that there are automatic CPR machines in use now as well. I’m not sure how common they are though.
The importance of hand washing cannot be overstated. During the mid 1800s doctors in hospitals would touch corpses with their bare hands and then go deliver babies immediately after. It’s no wonder women would die so often in childbirth. The doctor who discovered this, Semmelweis, was mocked and ridiculed because other doctors didn’t believe him. It stressed him out so much that people were dying unnecessarily that he had a nervous breakdown and died. So yeah people please wash your hands!
Another one that bothers me is when they show doctors using defibrillation on patients who have flatlined. Defibrillation is only used when a person has an arrhythmia, it shocks the heart back into the correct rhythm. It doesn’t restart a heart that has stopped beating.
I liked it but I did not love it. I think the issue for me was how they went for a more typical kdrama that you…
I definitely agree with you. I treat shows like this that have multiple implausible scenarios as light fantasies. I think writers can have a hard time staying realistic while also creating an interesting story, and that’s just part of the nature of storytelling.
lol i dont remember that either. i think they just forgot to add it or something
I thought maybe I just skipped over it on accident. Thanks for letting me know I’m not crazy. XD Sounds like the showrunners dropped the ball considering it seems like an important plot point.
they release two subbed episodes a day on saturday and sunday at 10am GMT+8 aka, the time in beijing, on the youtube…
I don’t think you were rude at all. I just wanted to let you know it’s not subbed by the company who made the drama. I’m thankful when anyone is willing to sub shows too. I wish I could understand more than English and very basic French. XD

Just wanted to let you know this series is subbed by fansubbers. Their names is Babel Fansub and they say on their About page on Facebook that they are a nonprofit organization. They post their videos on the YoYo Series YouTube page because they have official permission to sub those shows.
The original is a Swedish show called Akta Manniskor and I highly recommend it. It’s a bummer that show was just cancelled after two seasons with no resolution since it asked a lot of good questions about how robots will be treated in the future when they are more advanced.
LOL, ML acting is so bad that it becomes funny to watch. His frown is so put on forcefully. But this drama is…
Yeah the whole looking angry all the time on purpose is unnecessary. He could portray a stern character without that. But I love the female lead and her antics so I’m enjoying it so far.
