regarding kissing scenes - I'm wondering whether the director is just having trouble getting these two amateurs to do it "right" for us viewers so we get these back of head shots. I think they need to spend even more time practicing in private. haha..šš
Damn. An 8.8. Do I watch this or Brocade Oddysey? I'm thinking this because he looks gorgeous with the white hair.Edit:…
depends on whether you are the kind that likes to save the best for last or like the rest of us. haha.. I too started with BO but the switched over to this one after starting it. BO feels more like the same o same o. Don't get me wrong, I love Seven Tan and the ML over there but Blossom is just a much more engaging drama because it's a better overall production.
They are evil through and through. Why will they be remorseful? People that are willing to risk the lives of even…
Yes, well put. It would not be realistic. These people spent their entire life in hatred and blaming others for their sins. The female lead I doesnāt want her husband to godown that path this, she prevents him from killing his father and brother.
Who enjoys the visuals here? The fireworks look like what they may have looked like back then (no the silly colorful modern ones that seems out of place). The beautiful colorful ripples on the water when they were on the boat looked smooth like satin. The brilliant & colorful yet, strong flags waved resolutely while the horses and soldiers marched. The sun rays glowing a cast warmth as they embracedā¦. To may details to capture here but such a feast for the senses.
Ml mentioned Lord Qing here, who was he in this drama. I don't quiet recall the character. Is her the other prince?
In the past life - SM supported the wrong prince - prince Qing was the one who was plotting to overthrow the empower.
The bandit scene - they wanted DZ killed by the bandits as well as SM charged for treason for abandoning his post to go to defend DZ. It he plan didnt unfold the way they had planned.
I suspect the plotters include prince Qing, the eunuch, 5th uncle and Duke Ying. Although, I donāt think Duke Yong cares about overthrowing that emperor or as much as to get his song SH the Duke title. But we will see how it unfolds.
Yes trust the director, producer, and writers. Haven't they done a great job so far? Based on the director's previous…
Yup! I trust this team and will stay to the end. I have a feeling this drama is going to be lingering in my heart for a while after it ends. Probably will rewatch it on different platforms to get the different translations.
This drama is so good that it evokes such strong reactions from us. Even the closure of this arc was very moving…
Lol - I think most viewers share your sentiment. I felt sad that his upbringing brought him to the tragedy of his marriage . His and Dou Mingās love was pure. Thatās the one shining light in his whole character.

Yes - thereās the crown prince (which he captured in ep 1 and who committed suicide after mentioning that SM backed the wrong person). Thereās prince Qing (whom SM backed but backed stabbed him but SM also killed with his elite soldiers in ep 1).
I think I missed something regarding Song Mo and his brother/sister .So his father wanted to marry the musician…
In ep 25 at the temple we learn that SMās mom gave birth to his sister prematurely at the temple. The mistress who had SH with the dad brought the one month SH to the temple that day as well. Thatās when the babies were switched. We donāt know whatās happened to the sister. So far father and servant claim she died. SM currently assumes sheās dead.
I think Song Han is just a lost boy trying to keep the myth of a happy family together best he can. It is Ji Yong…
He - JYās motives seem sus. Itās been hinted here and there that he is interested in overthrowing the current emperor so he may be a player in this plotting.
I am reading the comments and hoping this is not another one of those endings that make people mad and drop ratings.…
Yes - many little details that actually hints at the plot line. Visuals are stunning - even the ripples on the waters are gorgeous. And feels more realistic than most dramas. I appreciate that the fireworks actually looks more like what fireworks should look like back then vs the silly colorful extravagant modern ones which would have looked completely out of place
I dont accept any ending for wty if its not death, i dont want a redemption arc, i want him dead preferably skinned…
This drama is so good that it evokes such strong reactions from us. Even the closure of this arc was very moving for me - sadness, justice, pity, so many emotions. His biggest problem was that he was raised to be a pretty useless person.
