If you watch it all the way to the end, including the credits, it’s clearly a happy ending.

Guys - the drama ends with a full fledge kiss (ep 32, all the way at the end).

We saw it when she gave it to her husband and hold him not to stay with her.

They kissed each other… watch the ending again…all through the credits and ending song.

Oh dear - so much to cover in 4 episodes. We are not at the climax yet! I remember when Love between fairy and devil also ended with the audience wanting more. Maybe this is their intention.

You may be onto something. I suspect the resentful woman to be his mom. Resentful because other love and family was destroyed by human prejudice.

I wouldn’t say fluffy. Her character is supposed to be cute and bubbly. The story line is not there to serve their romance if that’s what you’re asking. It’s an adventure story with their relationship growing as they go along. But it is not just about romantic relationship but many different human relationships and well as societal structures. I say Guess Who I am with Wang ZiQi is more of a cute and fluffy drama.

lol - that’s a pretty funny comment about the scriptwriter. I am hoping this bracelet’s significant will return when Mu Sheng’s mom is revealed.

I heard strange tales of tang dynasty 2 was good but haven’t gotten around to it- solving mystery cases

I watched a bunch with my fav actors and sadly, some just didn’t continue well (LMKM was the latest) although I did watch some gems.

This has been such a fun watch so far. Just learned (from AvenueX) that it’s directed by one of the directors of Nirvana in Fire. Screenwriter also wrote Love Between Fairy and Devil. This explains part of why it’s been good!

So many dramas this year started out well but then……..

Just binged through this in a day. What a wonderful drama! Full of majestic beauty of the land, eye opening experiences of the culture and life portrayed. Excellent acting, storytelling, directing, cinematography. Excellent!

Yes - I didn’t like her voice in LBFD either. But in pushed through it and it was fine. In this drama, she plays her character well and her silly voice works. Love how she teases and messes with him.🤣🤣

I’ve watched through ep 9. It’s worth watching. The dynamics is fun. Surprisingly, the acting of FL and ML are good too. They play their characters well.
