Not Miles Wei in two concurrently airing dramas again. Some overexposure a few years back and then nothing and now he’s back! It would be nice to see him lead a none formulaic drama.

I see that he’s listed as the male lead and see the development of him and the FL. Their relationship is the main focus compared to the other ones. Sure, there are stretches where the spotlight is not on him but it always circles back to the two of them. So it confuses me that he would be considered a supporting role.

The world is not black and white but a messy palette of grays in between. Even our crazy villian is not a 2D character.

Yes! Sometimes we get too greedy because are expectations are unrealistic. This drama is a cut above so many in cdramaland but different ppl find different aspects interesting in a drama.
