Don’t worry too much. Just enjoy the story. There’ll be some smooches by ep21. 😁， however I did find it kinda slow the first 15 eps. But this is purely my experience. Yours may be different. There’s def a lot of court and family politics and plotting. Still fun and getting more interesting at 24.

I felt the same way up to ep 16. But now, I find it interesting and enjoyed the last 4 eps (16-20). Goes to show that everyone has different taste.

Finally!!! We get some action and movement in eps 17-18. Not gonna lie, I was beginning to lose interest and move one. This move into the Gu household will be interesting.

So true! And I am so glad her character doesn’t change course just b/c of CYY actions. I would have been so disappointed if she said yes.

Ep 14 - I can’t help but feel bad for all the ladies , even concubine Song. The patriarchal system and horrible human (whatever his name is) caused all the tragedies and strife. This husband has no redeeming qualities. The character is so 2-d and the acting is over the top. Ugh

I pity her a bit to be use at the end of the day, both ladies are victims of the patriarchal system which puts females against each other.
