He basically is obsessed with her and has no self control with her. Sooo…. If you’re not gonna feel comfortable with his actions and disregard for the female’s wishes, then you may not want to watch this. He is currently not a morally righteous person. She is though and she’s a bit feisty which are what attracts him to her.

Worst - he used it to sow distrust between her and her fiancé.

He has absolutely no control over his senses when it comes to her. Every action is quite impulsive and emotionally driven. Is this going to get him in trouble?

Patience is not in his personality when it comes to her. He’s consumed by his desire for her. Everything else, he’s calm, calculating and collected. With regards to her - out of control, everything is impulsive.

I now understand what the creative team is trying to convey. That’s hard to do w/o vilifying our ml.

He’s a scary dude. Overly obsessed.

Oh dear - taking another blow

Cheng lei is killing this role. Conveying admiration/condescension, lust/care, covetousness, jealously/flirtatiousness, anger, arrogance, commanding/powerlessness, self control/intoxication, force/gentleness. For some reason, I’m reminded of his character in My journey to you. It feels like not much happens over a few eps but so much happens and we cannot help but be glued to the screen.

Wow, I noticed the director directed the 1983 ver of the return of the condor heroes with Andy Lau. That was a huge hit back then. Elevated Andy Lau as an actor. Looking forward to this.

Even with the abrupt ending, I must say I enjoyed their journey together. They weren’t perfect but it ended with them each interested in what the other was interested in. They were no longer just looking after their own self interests, whether it was career or relational. They each understood how they hurt the other and cared enough to apologize. There’s no doubt that they’re together.

He’s is a great supportive easy going guy. Since it’s. Drama I’m just worried when the other shoe drops. It just can’t be this perfect can it?

This is not your typical romance drama. But yes, the other guys is decent too. Are either of them a good match for her? You’ll learn later.

Yeah … as painful as it is to wait for ep release, it’s also nice to experience it together through the discussions

What are you dreading? I’ll can say it’s a good ending as in a well done ending. You feel complete. You’re happy for the couple and their family but do have tissues ready
