You will have different FLs for different arcs in the show. Yes, the ML have intimate scenes with at least 2 of them. Even though its different FLs, the soul inside is the original FL, but I know some people may have some issues with this

Secondly, I'm just lamenting and frustrated that the show would have been way better, if the villain and some parts of the show were written and directed better, even though overall I do feel its still a very good show, and thats my thought. Could I have phrase my review a little better? Probably? But that goes to show I have higher expectation for this show compared to other competing dramas at the same time, hence my frustration. The FL in this drama barely have any screentime. She is more of a guest actress because of the story. Literally almost all her screentime are in the first 2 episodes. She only appear for a short awhile here and there in the other 22 episodes.
The way the story works is, her soul will transfer from female villain to female villain. So different parts of the story will focus on a different FL

Start with the positives: Glad that the FLs are not just vases and damsel-in-distress,1 can fight and 1 is smart The romance isnt at the forefront Good cinematography and colour grading Good acting all around from everyone, including the minor and guest characters Seems like a S2 is on the cards, this time with a proper full team (5 of em)

Given ML smarts, they should have figured out the spy way sooner. Not to mention, ending is lazily written, villain is somehow able to defeat both the Constabulary and Secret team together with Kong Yun so easily and still able to poison the water, and STILL ABLE to escape unscathed. But somehow villain doesnt know hes being watched for 3days, especially when he suspected something is wrong when all is well after 3days
The fact that the production team try to make the villain feel pitiable and sympathetic to the viewers by using revenge as an excuse to fuel his hatred because he wasnt lucky enough to be adopted into a better family is just ugh...
If they are gonna give these much screentime and exposure to Tong Shuang, and keep the twist till the end, the least the production team could do is to at least not make him so obvious hes one of the mastermind. The directing should have been better for the Qing Ying suicide scene, because at that instance it made it so obvious to the viewers that hes the villain

The first half of the drama is really good, but it started going downhill after the episode where its revealed shes the chaos pearl. The first few episodes in particular is just so well done in regards with the super flirty FL and the 'cold' ML. The FL in particular, just pulled off her flirty cute sensual vibes super well
But the 2nd half drama, throws everything out, the story just went bonkers... Most of the supporting casts have barely any screentime, everything just revolves around the 3 leads, in a ludicrous wtf story

honestly, at this point, they are just bashing everyone except the ML If you read their comments, they dont seem to want to understand the show... To them, the ML must be cared for and treated like a god even if hes a red flag, if not, the whole show is shyt, the other cast members are crap...
The ending actually makes sense, the lesson learnt is, there is no do-overs, not sure why are there people complaining about it. There are tons of hint dropped randomly throughout the episodes, hinting that the world is imaginary, And they even dedicated 1 whole episode to the twist, rather than just leaving it till the last few secs of the drama
It is in fact a happy ending from a romance standpoint(she didnt couple with anyone in her dream, but she realised ML in the real world has always loved her, thus she woke up from her dream for him), but a sad/bittersweet ending for the rest (her family and maid are still dead, relationship with second leads are still fractured)
Just started this, and the 2FL Jiang Kui is super adorable and cute OMG!!! Her clothes, the way she speak and expressions makes her so 😍 She just feels so natural pulling off the cute yet deadly role, have not felt any cringe from her at all
