Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
I'm currently watching Starry Love, starting it after TTEOTM & so far it's really good & hilarious, a perfect…
Dont worry, not much angst in TSL actually, misunderstandings and miscomm are cleared up very fast. Its very light-hearted and comedic. Its an open ending but definitely 100% pointing towards a HE

I watched till 16 and then just FF the last 8 episodes in 30minsExtremely disappointing, pacing and writing is…
The best and most interesting char in this show is actually the 3FL, super carefree and feisty with her power of precognition, no push-pulling with the 3ML, doesnt hide anything, just say what she wants, too bad because shes 3FL, her screentime is obviously so little compared to the FL/ML.

So much time given to main couple just meandering around, push-pulling with so much angst, miscomm, goodness really waste of time

Yea, hopefully ML's next drama will be better, the trailer is already out and it looks super promising, at the very least it looks like they have an actual plot unlike this mish-mash drama

ummm.. I’m not sure about this drama.. I’ll stop at episode 1. what you guys think of it ?
I watched till 16 and then just FF the last 8 episodes in 30mins
Extremely disappointing, pacing and writing is bad, super WTF ending as well
In epi1, we saw ML praying to some marriage god, then FL appears, you thought its gonna be like a fluffy romcom.
Then we are introduced to mutants with powers, with no proper introduction of backstory, its like we are dropped right in the middle of a mutant war.
The show doesnt know what genre it wanna be, it has a marriage god and people with powers, yet its not a xianxia.
If it wanna be a fluffy romcom, then whats the deal with mutant powers? Everything doesnt add up, and made worse with no proper backstory.
Are they trying to do a dream genre as well? Whats with the waking up from a dream ending, it felt like we were just watching the ML fantasizing about some war and love stories in his mind

Its like the writers just threw every ideas they had in a pot and hope the soup comes up tasting unique and nice.

Title The Starry Love Spoiler
Okay,im back again. I watched TTEOTM, and i stopped at ep 21, it seems dragging so i switched to TSL AND re-watched😌…
TTEOTM is decent for me, didnt find it draggy but just hated the cliche misunderstandings and miscommunication parts that is abundant in it. It makes the main couple relationship feel really toxic, the distrust and lying throughout. The 2FL is so goddamn annoying and just keeps coming back like a cockroach

Whereas the pretty fiesty 3FL who had a great sismance with the FL, stayed dead for the entire last third of the drama :(

Not to mention the god awful ending

So yea, TSL is a much better and healthier show for me as well

Title The Starry Love Spoiler
Does Chaofeng regain his power?
then you will be quite disappointed
he regained his powers at the same time the identity swap was discovered, but after that he barely fights or even show his power.

Title Romance of a Twin Flower Spoiler
Another one that started out great and then went downhill. Also i would've never forgiven him the flogging stunt.…
Agreed. What I didn't like was, he found out it was Wen Wan after interrogating the maid who flogged the FL, yet he chose to do nothing.

And it escalated all the way, with Wen Wan constantly pulling dirty tricks, and he doing nothing even though he got a red flag about WW from the flogging and has been investigating her since then. I felt really aggrieved for the FL, shes always getting the blame everytime.

Title The Trust
1. They are married2. No breakup. They are together throughout.3. No breakup. But they switch bodies. They change…
No, the FL liked the ML since when they were children.

Btw, the person who like her, is not the 2ML, his screentime is very little. The 2ML is actually ML's younger bro

I forgot to add that the FL and ML are insanely smart!! You can't guess how they both are gonna tackle the situations...*Unpredictable*Ahh…
+1 to Jun Jiu Ling
I have rewatched Jun Jiu Ling umpteenth times, its way better than this drama. Sadly the only rewatch value of this drama for me is the first half only

The first half of this show is really good, I binged it in 1.5days, but the 2nd half is just pure dragginess. And I hate it, that in this show, the villains are constantly stepping all over the good guys, with the good guys always being reactive to the plots rather than being proactive and counter scheming the villains. The villains rarely get any retaliation at all. Its made worse by the super annoying female char Wen Wan, and how the male lead, even knowing her true character, does nothing to preampt or stop her schemes, letting her continue sabotaging the FL consistently

This is where JJL shines, sometimes the good guys win, sometimes the bad guys win, they are always planning against each other, trying to be a step ahead. JJL never ever let anyone step all over her and not retaliate. Not to mention, the ML is always messing with the annoying commander villain guy as well, so everything felt more balanced

Is it worth watching the rest of the drama?
I completed it but honestly, the 2nd half is draggy as hell, too many fillers with nothing actually happening, really felt like fan service for the main couple, with the constant minutes long OST blaring with leads looking melancholic and gazing into emptiness type of scenes

Title Romance of a Twin Flower Spoiler
General Tao? I was surprised and angry.
1 thing I like was, the younger sis while childish, playful and infatuated with that scum throughout the show, she is infact no pushover and has an actual backbone.

She didnt try to cling on to him or try to defend him after finding out the truth, instead she called him out and said it straight to his face that he disgusts her

Its just too bad, we didnt get scenes of her and Ji Man together after the exposure of the truth

She realizes it in ep 25
This is one thing I don't like, they are always reactive to Wen Wan instead of being proactive to preempt her schemes. And its not like she only did 1 or 2 deeds, she literally did so much evil before being chased away in ep26, yet when she came back, the main leads became sitting ducks again, gosh

Ning Yuxuan have already begun investigating her since the caning episode early on in the drama, yet he did absolutely nothing throughout the show to counter her schemes, until epi26 when he confronted her about the poisoned face cream

Finally finished this. The show started off strong but fizzled out for me towards the end. Too much unnecessary…
Agreed, I binged the first 17-18 episodes in 1.5 day, but took like 4 days to complete the 2nd half. We got the identity swap and amnesia arc settled by 22nd epi, but instead of things getting exciting after that, the writer decided to make it more melodramatic, so many 'music videos' type of scenes that goes on for so many minutes.

Its ridiculous that 90% of the comments and reviews here are scolding the FL but give the ML a pass. Double standards much?

ML is stalkerish, creepy, scheming, toxic and extremely manipulative
After Xiaoran recovered and forced FL to move out of ML house because she know the ML isnt a great guy, ML instantly starts guilt tripping and doing "self-harm" to earn FL's sympathy (that is emotionally blackmailing but of course FL being dumb is oblivious to it). This was really hard to watch, because FL was genuinely concerned but the ML dont give a damn, he just wanna possess her even if it means the FL going against her own sister. Just look at ep10/11/12 and 15, the way he try to garner sympathy and how he always give the "you can't do shit to me' smirk to Xiaoran. Instead of explaining and giving assurances to her, he gives her the threatening vibes instead. Like please, this is his future sis-in-law, sister of his girlfriend
But over here, the commenters considered it romantic

Throughout the show, he doesnt admonish those love rivals at all even when they were obviously targeting FL and trying to humiliate her or purposely trying to flirt with him. All he did every time was just walk away not even looking angry. He even use 1 of them to induce jealousy in FL. Like what Xiaoran say, the ML is the 'scriptwriter, director and actor', either creating situations or just went along with the flow so as to manipulate the FL. The ML only started waking up during the last third of the drama

Yes, FL was dumb all the way to the end with no character progression(there was some development during the mid 1Xs episode but then went back to zero in last few episodes). But if majority of the commenters can ignore the ML's antics because their reasoning was its just a drama, why not give a pass to the FL as well? Somehow the FL always get all the flaks and negativity but ML is always a knight in shining armour even when hes a walking red flag.

This was really hard to watch, with a total F-UP ML and a zero progression FL whose more like a child. She didnt seem to care very much about her own sister who got hit by a car and was in a wheelchair, FL rather moved to stay with the ML than stay at home to care for her sister and is always constantly falling for ML's tricks

Best part of the show is ep16 to 21... 2nd and 3rd couple got tgt. 3rd ML got actual character development, great chemistry he build up with the 4 side colleagues and bantering with FL about his love story and best of all, not much scheming to manipulate the FL from the ML.
This could have been a good show if they follow this same atmosphere for the other episodes

Cold and aloof heavenly crown prince and warm hearted spunky female lead who is supposed to be ban of the world.…
I binged Warm on a Cold Night before TSL, agreed its really good and interesting too, but the ML there is annoying throughout like 2/3 of the show, thats the only real negative of that show

LBFAD is just plain drag and boring, with an FL who is really bad at acting

Yea, agreed, in many dramas they always like to make the Heavenly Emperor a villain when hes supposed to be a benevolent merciful god

Personally, I'm feeling the same as you, I didnt really like the mortal realm's arc(3 MLs) as much, but other than that 10episodes, the rest is really good

Sigh, you just started it and without giving the characters a chance, you wrote it off. I don't know how you judge…
I actually binged LBFAD right after binging TSL
And imo, LBFAD is way way over-hyped, its at most a 7/10 for me while TSL is 9/10

Only the first 9eps was good, after that I was bored, and FF through, hoping it come to an end soon

I dont like that 90% of the screentime is on the ML/FL, while the rest of the cast are fighting for scraps. 2ML have so little screentime while there isnt even a clear 2FL, the female cast (Jie Li/Dan Yin/Chidi Nu Zi) felt more like guest appearance.

All these would have been fine if the story was actually interesting, but each arc dragged out for no reason and most of the episodes felt like fillers. Look at the part where FL sacrifice herself on the battlefield, like wtf she literally took almost half an episode crawling to the sword to stab herself.

Main villain got an easy death. While the secondary villain who is actually the real BIG bad, yet you never feel how powerful it is, and when we thought we gonna get some big action at the end where the big bad vs combined forces of Moon/Shuiyuitian, instead we got just a kiss, and the big bad go POOF, lame man

Biggest criticism of the show also goes to Esther's acting, im fine with the high-pitched dubbing voice she got, but her acting is really bad. Her acting reminded me of those newbie actresses who are just starting out and acting in those low budget mini dramas

LBFAD rewatch value = 0
TSL rewatch value = Multiple times

Haha, their first meeting at Wanliang City in ep1 is real epic. Love how YT continued the 2700yo sentence with, "what if it doesnt work down there anymore"

Yes, without a doubt please watch it. You are in for a drama that has a good cast chemistry all around. It is…
Ye Tan (younger sis, impurity/purple colour of the flower) is the FL
Qing Kui (elder sis, purity/greenish-blue colour of the flower) is the 2FL

Yes 4 mains

A few things great about this drama is, the ML/FL dont dominate the screentime as compared to other dramas. The rest of the casts all have considerable amount of screentime as well, to keep things interesting and non-draggy.
Toxic/annoying characters are kept to a minimum screentime, so you wont have your blood vessels bursting from angst
They have alot of people supporting them, e.g ML's mother/sister/brother all love the FL very much, avoiding the usual in-laws troupe
