Thanks for your reply. I'm not surprised though, animes usually don't take into account questions like consent. But it feels always weirder to me and less acceptable when it's done in a live action series or movie.

An interesting start but Jin kissing Akin without his consent was very inappropriate in my opinion.

Then maybe we could hope for a small cameo of Seonghyeon if there's a prequel, since it seems like they lived in the same area.

"Secret Relationhips" was his first time acting ? Wow, that's impressive. He really did an outstanding job !

I'd be highly interested by a prequel series, showing how Daon, Jaemin and Suhyeon met at school. How their dynamic went, how Daon and Suhyeon felt in love and how much jealous Jaemin was, how the "friendship" between them 3 developed, how Jaemin and Suhyeon came up with the contract, how Jaemin manipulated Suhyeon, Daon's troubles with his dad and how Jaemin helped him,... Plus with the flashback at the end of episode 8 we know that another character was also around back then 👀

I consider Suhyeon as being the most interesting character with his arc. He went from being an awful and very despicable person (at the beginning of the series) to someone who understands his mistakes and the harm he did to Daon. And even if he cannot be forgiven for the evil he did, he also suffered from Jaemin's manipulation and because of that he experienced a huge injustice and lost the love of his life.

I was hooked the whole season, the writing and acting were great but unless a lot of other people I was a bit underwhelmed by the final episode. I'm not against a happy ending even if I believe that a sad ending would have been more original and more ballsy, but the way the happy ending was built felt artificial.

With the way Seonghyeon and Suhyeon easily deduce that Daon has been kidnapped and found him, the fact that Jaemin goes to talk to the neighbor woman instead of ignoring her while she goes away, the fact that Daon drops the knife instead of keeping it and the whole weird scene with Seonghyeon coming from nowhere. I might be too demanding but all that part in the Christmas house was a bit ridiculous to me as it didn't feel credible.
Anyway I'm glad that Daon can finally be able to love and to love the right person, he really deserves to be happy.

Not everything was perfect in this BL and maybe it would have needed two extra episodes to avoid rushing some parts and to give more substance to the characters and to their families. But overall this was an amazing BL, loved the characters and how tense and stressful the story was.

Our Dating Sim also has good kissing scenes, and some very cute scenes as well.

I didn't know that another show company already used that concept, my bad haha.

From the previous episodes I was already worried that something very bad would happen to Daon but after watching episode 7, I'm even more stressed and worried for him, even having chills D:
I never felt as engaged for the well-being of a character in a BL (btw can we still call this series a BL, it's becoming more a psychological thriller to me lol). But it shows how amazing the writing and the acting are !

And seeing where it's going, I cannot see how it could end on a happy ending for Daon :/
But ngl this would be a ballsy move from the writers to kill Daon, and also a very impacting and emotional one.

The last episode has not released yet, it will during the day.

The concept is original and very cool to watch ! I like how diverse the cast is, and they all form a great group together.
My brain is still processing if they're in this show to get an acting role or to find true love, or both haha.
But what I'm sure is that I'm rooting for Pink and Fumi, I love their duo !

I just can't describe how much I love this BL more and more after each episode !
But I'm so worried for Daon. All characters in this show suffer but Daon is the one who carries the most on his shoulders with these 3 men continously begging for his love and with his family issues.
I hope he'll have a happy ending with everyone knows who, but I trust the writers for delivering a great ending, no matter what the finale will be.

PS : I don't want this BL to end next week, it's so good and I'm so hooked to it !!

I watched the GagaOOLala version.

It's hard to tell which flashback comes before the other one (unless I missed something), but apparently yes he liked Suhyeon first.

This BL is underrated and deserves higher ratings ! The characters, cliffhangers and plot twists are so well written.

In the version I watched the translation says Suhyeon Hyung
