My first big issue comes in the second episode, when the journalist blurts out it’s not magic but chemicals that are put into the wild. How can a journalist be so stupid ? I hate when characters, specially woman, are stupid. Also, she doesn’t seem to understand what her job is. As if you would print a paper as soon as you discover things. No investigation, no other sources ? Also, the part when she thinks, as the doc puts on gloves to take water in a water bottle : « Wow he’s taking so much precaution ! » Then we see him putting his gloved hand into his pocket to take a zipper bag. So the contaminated water is on his clothes now. Great job man ! I know it’s a drama and none expects it to be accurate in terms of personnal protective equipment. But the fact that she admires him for that is just ridiculous. So, a stupid journalist and a « doctor ». I’ll keep on watching for now… Let’s hope the journalist becomes less stupid. And that the doc learns how to use gloves.
Well well well ! This gets more and more interesting ! I love how Sol Hee decides to trust Do Ha even though she hears that he’s lying. Actually, this drama is really deeper than I first thought. We lie to ourselves all the times ; kids think they’re responsible for their parents’ divorce. Do Ha says he didn’t kill his girlfriend and that appears as a lie. Maybe his subconscious thinks he’s the one responsible for her suicide…. Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun are doing a grezt job portraying these characters.
I can’t manage to like Charn. I don’t know but he feels « off ». Also, I dont find any chemistry with Tinn. Watching this just because I need my BL fix but that’s it.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I was so glad when I saw Feng Shao Feng was in this ! He was beautiful in The story of Ming Lan. Zhou Yi Wei in The Rebel princess was fantastic. Wallace Chung is incredible in The sword and the brocade. So so glad to see those mature actors who can act compared to some new bland « beautiful » faces whom you can’t even remember the name. Long live the mature actors !
A very poetic ending, thanks to the special episode. We could understand the suicide of LLH, but it’s not in his nature. We can understand that he left with his dear friends. We could also understand that the rise and fall of the tide tide represents the passage of time. Very poetic indeed, in tune with the drama that was somewhat reflexive. I will miss it.
How pleasant this drama is ! ML : funny but also dramatic Secondary ML : funny but not in a cringy vulgar ridiculous way The villain who is not really a vilain but is still a little mean : funny. And mean. And dramatic. His relationship to the ML is really interesting. He wants to win honnesly without cheating. So a vilain not so vilain with honor. The FL I prefer is ML’s ex : their relationship is really subtle : they went from passionate young love to deep trust and friendship. Also the princess : funny and smart ! Let’s talk about Cheng Yi for two seconds : he truly is a brilliant actor. He goes from mischievous to dramatic in a wink. Litteraly. His look tells so much. His expressions range from funny to melancholic to sad to nostalgic, affectionate with secondary ML. Incredible actor. Truly. As for the plot, the detective stories are interesting but the main plot is a bit too slow for my taste. Come on, we need answers ! Really though. One of my favorite dramas this year that’s not a food year for me, in term of drama.
I’ve watched episode 38 now and I’m really fed up with this drama. First : the woman are all evil or stupid (or both). The sister is a dummy, her friend falsely accuses the creepy brother, the mother is evil, Song Yan’s mom is not very smart and doesn’t understand a thing about Song Yan’s relationship. The FL is weak and always needs… A man ! As for the men : the brother in the ep 38 is shown as a victim of an evil woman… Even though he spend the majority of the episodes harassing his sister to the point it was soooo creepy ! The father, even though he did some bad things also is seen as a peace bringer. Song Yan’s uncle is shown as the really good guy who can forgive easily. As for Song Yan, he’s perfect ! He never forgets his girlfriend, he sacrifices for other, he forgives and never complains ! Second : As the cast : Yang Yang tries to have a deep voice when he gives orders to his men but it’s too much to the point it’s ridiculous and he has zero chemistry with the FL. He had more chemistry with Vin Zhang who left too early in the drama. Wang Chu Ran is actually not so bad but she gives a lot of emotion to Yang Yang who’s a brick wall. The actors playing the parents are all fantastic and plays their part very well. They’re actually the best of the drama. The actress playing the sister is not bad also, even though the character is really annoying. The plot : I really enjoyed the part of the earthquake : action and adventure ! Also, the first episodes with Vin Zhang were also interesting. The part in the hospital are really boring. Conclusion : not the best drama of the year, by far.

He overacts too much : too goofy, too funny, too childish… Also, I find the jokes ridiculous and too much. Like gas coming out of the ass ; is that suppose to be funny ? Too bad because the story in itself is interesting and the mean guys are mean…
I just wish Youku would say something honestly. The fact they haven't pulled the pages (or eps) down definitely…
