I am one of the select 2 or 3 people out there who is finding this fairly enjoyable. However I went in with the expectation of simple entertainment. It’s light, fun, a little cute in places, a little over the top. Sometimes having a drama in which you not required to think and you can enjoy the rare moments of having a smooth brain for a few hours is quite relaxing.
So many handsome men…I am hyperventilating. If at any point they are all on the screen at the same time, I am pretty sure the visuals will cause a serotonin overload and quite possibly result in my death…and I am ok with this. 🤣🥰

WeTV Hong Kong…VPN is your friend!, I was so excited when I found this as HK does eng subs on most of their versions and this has them. They are AI generated but WeTV are pretty ok AI-wise…well let’s say they not MangoTV and I use them as a benchmark of terrible 🤣

Some of these mini dramas have been upping their game in recent productions. There are a few 30+ ep , 45min dramas out there that have bigger budgets, actors etc but miss the mark so much, they could learn from these little nuggets.
This would have been a a solid 8-9 for a relaxing, healing drama, if it wasn’t for the unnecessary air drop of the psycho-twin and evil-ex tropes. All that shenanigans dropped it to a mid 7.
Writers, sometimes less is more, if you don’t have content to fill all the number of episodes, have less episodes. I would prefer a shorter drama with a decent written concise story, then a longer drama that needs unnecessary tropes for filler.
I am going to fight my way through, but did/is anyone else finding the post-production audio grating? Normally I am usually ok when iQiyi decides to overzealously auto-tune, but for some reason this time around every time the actors walk it’s like someone is taking a golf club to the floorboards. And the voice acting feels like it’s been phoned in from a sheet of paper, it just doesn’t match the visuals….the physical acting is fine, the voice is rather ‘meh’ and I think this more of post production thing as to me it feels like it’s missing all the ‘live action’ sound.
Maybe I need to be a bit more persistent, I’m only 2 eps in so I may just need a bit longer to dull the senses. It a shame as this is my sort of thing and the comments below were making me happy for the potential.
