I respect ShenLi, she is candid with her feelings but can draw the line if she wants to. It is quite interesting to see XZ working through his feelings through these past few episodes, learning the variety of emotions for the first time. Even without trying, he is a master of the push and pull (he is sly just like ShenLi says), but that is also cruel to ShenLi. You can see she is baffled by his actions and questions if he knows how to make someone dislike him because he is doing the opposite. Haha. If she didn't love him, she probably would have given him a piece of her mind!

Heheh he wants to be matchy matchy. Does he ever admit to being able to read her or does SL know? I would hate it if someone can read me 24/7 hahaha. I feel like if he does then he would have prevented all of her dangerous acts before they happened

It was quite entertaining seeing his feathers ruffled today. I loved the scene at the barracks with our regal leader. The sparring scene was fun too!

Just started the novel so hope I can get more insight that way. It seems like the drama follows the novel pretty closely as others have mentioned. I spoiled a few of the middle and ending chapters, and based on the drama trailer, it seems like they will follow the main plot til the end. Glad that will be the case.

Random but I wonder if they touch on what happened to Xing Zhi’s friends later on. It seems like the guy they met in the mortal realm in a reincarnation of one of his friends? Do they touch on it more in the novel? Not really sure what the significance of that couple in the mortal realm was

Perhaps he kept an eye on her in case she became a threat but didn't have the heart to and fell in love

I think I like him better here vs in Princess Agent - his eccentric/unbothered attitude is fun (less stiff than his other charater)
