I know LTG is unhinged and obsessive but I give it to him for remaining steadfast in loving one woman lol. However, I am disappointed at the lack of growth on his part, his character had a lot more potential.
I skimmed through the eps but was his marriage to YY just a political one? YY did not forget Yuan Lu in the end either. Anything can happen in the future, maybe she and LTG will have kids, but even she said she would still think of YL.
Pretty sure it was a dream sequence and Chu Yue’s imagination (kids are prob a part of her dream). RY killed the enemy and died - she wanted to reunite with NYZ. The reason why I think it’s a dream is not only because of the reason that there is no way for the leads to survive that ordeal (they clearly died), but the fact CY saw the gang riding their horses in the field (which looks a lot like paradise).
Make it make sense LoL! I know I should watch the last 6 eps in their entirety but the ending feels so contradicting.…
This drama had such potential so it makes me sad they ended it this way. Not sure why drama scripts rarely have a proper ending, is it that hard to write one? 😆 happy or sad, as long as it’s logical, I’d be satisfied.
Someone mentioned NYZ had the life saving pill. But even if he miraculously survived, that cannot explain RY’s ending. She clearly died to reunite with him.
If they wanted a “miracle” HE, why show us a scene of the main leads riding together? Too dream-like. How does Chu Yue not know the kid’s name? The way the kid addressed her as aunt made it seem like they’ve met before. Too many odd things combined.

They have escaped death many times but those were fatal blows. Is their “son” that Chu Yue meets part of her dream sequence? Must be her imagination as she sees RY and the gang freely riding their horses in a beautiful scenery.
Chu Yue was on the verge of falling for him. And she is spirited and brave like his shifu just more age appropriate…

Just occurred to me, and am not sure if I am missing something but how do ppl not recognize RY as Ren Xin after seeing her face? Especially her enemies. No one ever questioned her identity except LTG. Her old subordinates recognize her. Even if they thought she died, they should still be shocked after seeing her face.
How was the second prince involved in the Empress’s death again? First prince created a wedge between the Emperor and Empress, and the second prince agreed to convince his mother to back off on the scandal in order to get the title of crown prince?

Random but I read somewhere that the person Yuan Lu likes is RY, wonder if that is true. I thought it would be YY but apparently when he dies in YY’s arms (there was a leaked photo), he hallucinates and sees RY. Was hoping it would be YY tbh haha since RY has so many admirers (and unhinged ones) already hahaha. The rumour could be wrong but so far some of the other rumours I’ve read about have happened.
Want to get an idea if I should start this. Is it slow paced or decent or fast paced story? How is the action/special…
Pretty good pace and to the point compared to other dramas. I was surprised at some of the character’s reactions/actions which deviate from the cliche things you would normally see.
In terms of the plot and romance, they both develop naturally. The main leads are mature adults. The supporting characters are a cherry on top and very lovable. Action scenes are amazing, especially with LSS as the FL. She does it so gracefully.
She is so adorable and I love that she is not a bratty princess, but a kind one. Perhaps it helped that she wasn’t spoiled. The actress did a great job!
I hope no one dies at the end but since I keep seen comments on everyone dying in which i wonder where are they…
The cast said it is a HE in a iqiyi live this week but usually whether the ending is happy or sad applies to the couple. The foreshadowing in these last few eps are preparing me for the tissues!

I think in their live this week, the actor interpreted NYZ holding onto and dragging item behind him as him being unable to let go. He wants to retire but cannot let go inside. I thought this was an interesting metaphor
