I've been waiting for this moment! LTG is such an intriguing character, but I guess the only one who can bring out that innocent puppy inside him is RY.

I love their relationship and how it's been developing. Unlike other shows, they get together pretty early on. But I love how it's to the point, naturally since both are mature.

RY can be such a tease, she really knows how to push and pull. She may be socially unaware at times but I feel like she's pretty skilled at being a tease with NYZ haah.

Def will be one of my top favourite OTPs! They're a powerful duo, reminds me a lot of the main OTP in The Long Ballad.

There was already foreshadowing on Shi san's life - when he says if he falls in love he will die. Preparing for the angstttt

Can someone explain - not sure if I missed something. Did Ruyi get poisoned with the needle in the temple scene? The enemy already noted that she personally created that poison, so how is Ruyi still ok? I know Ruyi said she created the needles but the poison is from the enemy and cannot be neutralized.

I know! He portrayed this character well without being greasy haha. Cringey at times but hilarious. Almost forgot his very bland character in The Long Ballad

His character is so intriguing. But from the character map, it looks like he is linked to Yang Ying…there was a comment here that mentioned they might end up together (perhaps they become rulers of their respective countries and unite the two). I also look forward to YY’s character development - she has potential and I see the snippets of her becoming a strong leader in the trailers

Hheehehe I’m still on ep9 but peeked at eps 10-12 and am feeling giddy. It’s not everyday that you come across a drama that has you engaged from ep1. Great cast, promising plot and not so predictable or conventional characters. I was waiting for its release but was nervous before it aired. I’m glad this drama’s doing well! Love LSS and LYN.

YES, I really wish they had more screen time together in Mysterious Lotus Casebook. There was lots of potential to flush it out, I hope this drama will make up for it.

- How did shan gu dao die? It looked like LLH only got rid of SGD’s martial arts (altho I thought he intended to kill him) but then later it looked like someone had shot him? Or were these just the affect effects of all the hits he took and not wanting to stop?
- In the special ep where everyone was looking for LLH, they show DFS holding LLH’s broken sword. They also zoom in on another sword that was in standing upright in the ground behind him - is that DFS’s sword or the wenjing sword LLH got rid of? Not sure if that zoom in was signifying something
- What was Ah Mian and Zijin’s purpose in this story? I was quite baffled with the additional screen time they had. Although…I don’t blame for Zijin’s mistrust because it never looked like Ah Mian loved him (despite saying LXY is just an old friend from the past). Did they have more of a role in the novel?
