Maybe I'm just too used to the jealous ex trope because in my head, I interpreted King's actions as just simply trying to get Thup away from Singha. If he's accused of murder then he wont be around Singha as much and the police wont be pressured, so he looks like the good leader.

Digging into his past to get dirt on him, etc etc But maybe he really is just a dirty cop.

Or maybe he is also involved in who ever is killing all these people. May it's not one, maybe it's many.

The way Thup kept looking back at him, to make you think he's slightly jealous of KIng. What if there is a ghost hovering around KIng and it was that he was looking at?

I guess what's tricking me is because his photo is with the rest of the cast, as though he's eventually part of the group LOL

I dont trust him but there's too many plot twists he could have, so i dont know why, and that's annoying me more than him give smug face to Singha LOL

Wait a minute.....King and Singha fell out because a suspect committed suicide under questioning....Was that the hanged ghost in the interview room Thup saw in ep 1?? And did he actually commit suicide and not silence by someone, or by summon evil ghosts??

I think Thup might at some point, be able to communicate with some of these ghosts. Meen only wanted Thup to pass over her will. So not all these ghosts mean harm, they want help and might be useful. Thup just has to stop being scared of them LOL

Hmmmm,,,, you see, I enjoy a lot of detective stuff, and when the higher ups say 'get this done quickly' for such an extreme case, means find anyone, sweep this away because the one doing it is probably a very important person and we dont want speculation, usually, and I cant help but feel that Thup at some point, is going to be that scapegoat, because a psychic in a detective team is always the most suspicious to a cop LOL

I cant decide if King is going to a jealous annoyance or a friend later or not. He could go either way LOL

I'm still going to enjoy the heck out of this, but I'm seeing some issues though.

I felt like there was too much talking in ep 1. Like an information dump that we would have worked out later anyway, in the show. It's that dont tell us, show us thing. Since it's only 11 eps, I dont mind the slight speed run, but I dont know. There were 4 times in 50 minutes when I felt like I could re edit this to give it a bit more of an ooomph, for that opening episode, to put me where the characters are right now, and feel more emotionally involved from the minute 1.

I havent read the novel so I dont know how it's originally written. I mean, even just Sophee, hearing Kaewta's name was a little lacklustre, despite dropping her cup. I would have slipped in something there, just so I could feel what she was feeling in the moment. The bitterness and rage wasnt really giving that ohh shit, feeling. Considering what I've seen of this character, the hate for Kaewta runs deep.

I wonder have they given too much away in trailers and previews that they feel they dont have to create any kind of emotional suspension?

The last third just made me unnecessarily angry and I dont like shows making me feel that way. I see now why the writers made Ding Yu Xi a cat demon towards the end. It was the only thing that keeps me watching otherwise, I struggle to get the ep 38. 3x times, I've dropped this show around 27 LOL
