I havent seen Boun or Barcode from their last series and wow, how much they've changed. Barcode is all grown up and I assume Boun has muscled up a bit because he's got squishy cheeks now. Interesting start. I find my favourite BL's always include an artist, so let's see where this one lands.
Ohh, boy, it pains me to say it, but I've only just finished ep 3 and I can see how much of a mess the world building is. They should just have gone with an entire fantasy world, instead of such an extravagant 18th century european-esque style kingdom existing in modern day. That alone, doesn't make sense. They have airplanes to and from the country so the borders aren't closed? They have contact with the outside world and yet don't share their tech? Women still have no rights? I havent even gotten to the lgbt yet. I'm starting to see why so many people feel this is a disappointment.
I m waiting to binge this one. I am discouraged by the I hate grandma comments 😭 Noooo!! That actress plays the grandma in The Sign, one of my top faves. Why is she playing the bitch? 😭 I knew this one might hurt my feelings but I had no idea 😅
I'm only 30 minutes into the first episode and the Londoners speaking with a thick thai accent is making me laugh LOL I'm going to start begging Ken to go back to Emmaly.
So true, these supporting characters are just ruining a promising drama.
Characters are very important to me, and I've noticed that Xianxia's have a habit of destroying their good guys just to move the plot, to let the Antagonist's win for half the series, and I don't enjoy that kind of angst LOL
this is so far, one of those shows where I would actually kill everyone but the ML if I writing it LOL - If you're going to write some of the most twisted people. then give them the karmic death they deserve.
This is one of those shows that I'm genuinely loving, but really wish they didn't bother with the romance. It would not suffer without this insufferable love interest.
Blame his co-star and whoever made him say 'P'Dean!!' so much, because now when i see him that's all I can think of 😂 *He has a leading role coming up though, so maybe with time, if gmmtv is good to him, he can be released 😂

Gold chains are not worn by good men LOL Also, I'm in the middle of a cdrama binge so Tae disappearing into the scenery was not satisfying enough for me. I needed him displayed at the castle walls 😂
