It definitely takes a while, but she does get there. To me, her character is very funny but just generally annoying…
I havent watched a lot of cdrama's but those are just the two that I've seen so far, that just made me angry π It's funny isn't it? it's all a big mock take of the genre, they've given me two ML lead tropes, one I love and one I hate, so now I'm conflicted π

It's just me really. I'll keep watching but we'll see. I am getting slight flashbacks to End of the Moon & Ashes of Love π The whole abuse the ML for 35/40 episodes is not fun for me π

28??? jeebus, I don't have that kind of patience. I'm not sure I can put up with her for that long. It's the curse of the viewer when you can see both sides and that triggers my anxiety LOL I have legit rage quit shows that have dragged out misunderstandings like this for too long.
You should watch all of his other series too starting with TLB. And ultimate note. You will see Liu Yu Ningβs…
Thank you. It would seem, looking at his profile page, I have marked quite a lot of his shows already in my PTW list, so I shall pick another one of his shows after this one.
It's official. Mr Screenwriter is now what I will call the God/ forces of the universe from now on π€£I believe I've only watched Liu Ning in one show, but I'm loving him.
ahh, there it is. the first week after a show i was enjoying has ended. I still have that instinctual feeling of, ooooh, it's on tonight, and then oh, yeah......
er, i dont think so. their facial features do look alike but not really similar. but in terms of wardrobe i think…
I meant that Bai Lu is well known in this historical style genre, and just by giving her the same hair and makeup, it just adds to the humour. it wasnt meant to be a comparison.
Episode 17 - I've never wanted to a slap a confused male lead in all the characters Ive ever experienced. Holy fudge, that poor man is dipping stale bread into water, and smiling at Bai to tuck in to the birthday noodles he bought him. NOOOOOOO!!!!
hmmmm, it's only ep. 8 ~ Hahaha, I knew Ta had it out for Phi. Just like I said, he absolutely set Phi up at the start of the show, and just stole all of Phi's hard work. It's only ep. 8, I doubt he's done yet, and if the preview is to go by, he is not going to like Phi getting his position back. Seems like he's having some discord with his henchmen though. Finger's crossed for some karmic retribution, and he is shown live for being the ass wipe he is.
Also - Cant help but feel like Arin is a plant. Maybe I'm overthinking it but my drama senses are saying, you just randomly appear in the last third of the show, and are being super nice to everyone? Yeah. I immediately don't trust her LOL
2025 has been generous to us. I count on other yaoi "so bad it's good" dramas to replace it. Especially the omegaverse…
I tend to prefer cdramas over kdramas because they can be quite intense, and sad LOL So I'm actually surprised with myself that I've finished kdramas, over cdramas so far this year.
Just another comment - Tos is swinging his arrogance around because he knows that 'Uncle' will defend him. Whatever has happened there, he's coziest up to the most powerful person in the business and uses it as a weapon to be a dckhead to everyone else.
Tai, is the actual son of 'Uncle'. There was nothing stopping Tai, and he would have been right, to tell Tos to sit the eff down, because he's the only person that Uncle would agree with against him. Fighting with Tai, isn't a good idea. Tai is as much his boss, as Uncle is.
That fact that he didn't, and just went along with what his Dad wanted, says a lot about Tai as a person. Which is sad that they just slipped that in at the end. I would have been more interested in Tai and Champ if we gotten more info like that.
I'm assuming when Tos said 'uncle' it was meant as a polite term in asian languages because there's no way he wouldn't know his own bloody cousin? Surely? π
Also - I've just realised during the internship party in the office, to give a final scan of all the cast, Penny and June arn't there π
Anyway ~ well that was a trip through memory lane. It brought back all those old yaoi's (we're talking 00s, when youtube had barely drawn breath, that had translations in drips and drabs, from some exhausted student somewhere in the world) where the seme was a toxic red flag with creepily big hands and shoulders like wings but you couldn't help fall in love with along with the uke, who was a perpetual child that had everyone wrapped around his little finger because he was cutest patootie in the world.
I loved every cringing minute, and it did get me laughing at times, it did get me cheering for Jun and I have rewatched it all already, twice π
This is one of those, you'll love it or you'll hate it kind of shows.
I believe 2025 has been a BL year so far. I think I've only watched 2 kdramas all year and the rest have been BLs. So with My Stubborn's finale, I think I should venture north back into cdramas for a while, and give the gayness a break π Dazzle me with some glorious string work and styling instead π
I wonder if some do the βparents say I either get a degreee or move outβ thing then graduate and act instead…
you see, i'm not brave enough to say that on here LOL I've had a bad week, I dont want to argue fans π I know that asian shows can still be filming while the show is airing, that's crazy to me, but to hear that these actors can have jobs that take years to be qualified for, and an acting career? It's just such a culture shock to me, clearly the thai media industry is working at a much faster speed than what I'm used to π

It just takes that one week to break the mental routine and I feel the deflation. After that I'm ok.
NOOOOOOO!!!!
