See, Third isn't necessarily protecting Nine. He’s trying to direct the flow of events because he knows his mother will override him and his choices anyway. He’s deeply conditioned to do what he’s told because what he wants has probably never mattered a day in his life. So he'll give Nine whatever he wants, no matter how evil the methods, just to keep his mother out of his hair. Third is trapped between two toxic powers, who have total control of his life.
He’s been coping by shoving down all of his resentment, and it's been leaking out here and there in his mood swings. BUTT! now, along comes sweet, innocent Wan, who exists entirely outside of Third's personal hell. And in order to reach him, Third has to break his own cycle. And that's really elfing hard.
Because by deleting that video, Third actively chose not to protect Wan. And there Wan was, wide eyed and gentle little fluffy bunny, asking him about his feelings, while Third was hit with the realization of who he had just chosen to protect instead.
Ooooo, Domundi is getting seriously serious with the abuse logic here.
You have to get utterly, bone deep tired of your own bullshit before you finally make a move. It has taken me years, because it's so deeply engrained in your "normal" that every cell in your body is programmed to follow those habits, and those habits are built by your environment.
So, something devastating will probably have to happen to Wan in order for Third to finally make a run for it. He’s going to have to WANT to fight for him. Right now he's hovering on the side lines. That love needs to be stronger than his baseline survival instinct.
And I feel like that is the core message of the show. Every single character is fighting for the person they care about, whether it's the fans, the makeup artists, the crew, the company, right up to the main characters.
Which brings me to those delightful little scamps, Renji and Time. They have their own plan 😼 I don't think they really care about anyone else except each other, and they're about to bribe the producer with whatever secret stash of ammunition they've been hoarding 😂
Will the producer actually fight for Nine? Will Nine even care? There's still plenty of airtime for things to backfire, but I kind of don't want that to happen. I would love for their ending to be Renji and Time kissing while they light a massive fuse, blow everyone to smithereens, and merrily jaunt off into a very gay horizon 😂
I mean, it's not hard to make copies of digital files 🤷♀️
Also, I'm glad Nine and Third's manager has opened her eyes a bit. The slaggin matches are getting a little tedious for me 😅

I could understand shifting the focus to make Anda the primary narrative POV, because at least that’s a legitimate attempt to blend two polar opposite subgenres into some kind of coherent shape. I would respect that. It’s Anda’s story, and his friends are trying to solve the mystery while falling in love. That’s fair.
But, we are switching so fast between a messy whodunit and cutesy, awkward first queer love that I’m getting writing whiplash. And now Jin hears the cries of the damned for some reason? 😂 Sure. Why not? That's convenient right now.
And I’ve just realized this is only 10 episodes ..... and that was episode 4. We are halfway 😂😂😂

The plot obviously wants to point its finger straight at the brother. He’s the most obvious suspect from the start. He had the time, he has the authority to cover his tracks, and now we see they have deeply terrible parents, giving him a motive. Plus, he's rushing to cremate the evidence that is Anda’s body (Which, by the way... if this is an active investigation, is he even legally allowed to do that? 🤔)
The others are standard Agatha Christie style potentials. They seem unhinged enough to do something stupid, but we know so little about them that guessing is just throwing spaghetti at the wall.
My own personal wildcard though, is Dunk. He gave Pod those earphones, and that was the big plot pivot. That detail stands out to me. And they didnt work for the other two friends. So Anda has attached himself to these earphones....why?
How intelligent this series actually wants to be is the real mystery I'm now look forward to unraveling 😂☕

I guess because he's 1. A senior cop and 2. Family, the other cop wouldn't be alerted as there's no obvious motive but as a viewer, you're not building a good defense for yourself here bro 😏

From a writing lens, the moment a character introduces the big catalyst of the plot, they immediately jump on the suspect board for me.
Now, whether or not this is that kind of show, is the real mystery 😂
