Do they actually care about Wan, though? The show hasn't really established what they think of anyone besides Nine so far. Time and Wan haven't even spoken to each other, and Renji is mostly operating as an observer in public, and now we see it might be Time who's the bigger gremlin here.
I can definitely see Renji wanting to save his own skin, but it still feels like it's purely for their own benefit right now. They’re being very deliberately kept in the shadows of the narrative.
So either they are gathering intel to Deus ex Machina the absolute crap out of Nine and his entire entourage, or they’re going to find themselves on the receiving end of the damage soon, and be genuine friends with Wan and Third in the end.

Phew, what an episode... I'm dizzy. 🫠 I was nearly crying with Save. I don't watch reality shows, so I don't know how those selection shows work, but the boys have put some serious work in.
They've found a really beautiful balance between the lighthearted, cutesy scenes that BL newbies usually get stuck with, and the really heavy lifting emotional scenes.
In the two years that I've been watching Thai BLs, there have only been a 2 couples who can manage that bridge for me, despite there being plenty of impressive talent. Even in Your Sky, AuauSave were the emotional anchor. But here, now, they just blew their labelmates straight out of the water. Holy crap. (Well except for Nu but he's my baby so it's fine)
Also, that 'swing his legs around' kiss was ridiculously sexy of you, Third. Whose idea was that, and how dare you? 😂
Is anyone actually surprised by the end reveal? It was a pretty open secret 😂 I called it last week though. They ARE playing their own game. The real question now is, how are they releasing that footage? Because I highly doubt it’ll be an act of goodwill. It feels like leverage to be bargained at the minute.
Right now, they're just staying in their own bubble and manipulating events strictly for their own benefit, so either they'll just be the ultimate puppet masters in the end, or Wan is going to do something really kind hearted for them that will make them want to help him later. We're half way through, so things can still go wrong for them, and they might be needing help at some point.
